
“Paridrishya”, An International Festival for Shortfilms and Documentaries – Karnataka, is being celebrated under the banner of “Mysuru Cinema Society” and “Bharatiya Chitra Sadhana”. This film festival will be celebrated on February 11th and 12th at “Suchitra Cinema and Cultural Academy”, Bengaluru.
Mysuru Cinema Society, for four years was an informal gathering of film enthusiasts and critics from Mysuru, which is actively involved in objective analysis of films. It took an Institutional form in the year 2022. Since then, Mysuru Cinema Society has screened movies for analysis, conducted workshops with support of noted film makers, technicians and academicians. In its continuing efforts, Mysuru Cinema Society is privileged to be part of Paridrishya.

“Paridrishya” has received 150 films from 10 countries across the world, including Israel, USA, France, Italy and Iran. Paridrishya has 25 various awards to be presented under the following categories.
1. Short Films – Amateurs
2. Short Films – Professionals
3. Documentaries – Amateurs
4. Documentaries – Professionals
Screening of selected short films and documentaries, Master Classes by subject matter experts will be part of this film festival over the two days. Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday, 12th February at 4.15 pm.
