Chirag Global Speciality Hospital on Saturday celebrated its 30th Foundation Day, marking three decades of specialised medical care and service in Bengaluru.
Established by noted proctologist Dr. Rajasekhar Mysore, the institution has grown from a speciality clinic into a recognised centre for advanced colorectal and proctology treatment.
Over the years, the hospital has built expertise in the treatment of piles, fissures, fistulas, rectal prolapse, faecal incontinence and pilonidal sinus, while adopting minimally invasive procedures aimed at reducing recovery time and improving patient outcomes. The hospital is also known for offering advanced procedures such as DG-HAL with RAR for piles management, besides specialised fistulotomy and fistulectomy surgeries.
The Foundation Day celebrations were attended by doctors, healthcare professionals, community representatives and well-wishers. Renowned colorectal surgeon Dr. Anjanappa and Dr. Satyaprakash were among the guests of honour at the event.
As part of the celebrations, the management felicitated senior doctors for their contribution to medical science and honoured long-serving staff members for their dedicated service to the institution.
