Tumakuru, July 18: A health camp was organised today by KSRP Battalion-12, Tumakuru, in association with Sridevi Medical College, Tumakuru, to promote health awareness among police personnel.
The programme featured a special session on the harmful effects of tobacco and the prevention of oral cancer. A detailed talk was delivered to the police personnel, highlighting the health risks associated with tobacco use and the importance of early detection and preventive care.
The chief guest was felicitated by Sri Swamy Japanandaji Maharaj of Sri Ramakrishna Seva Ashram, Pavagada, Tumakuru district, in recognition of the contribution to the awareness programme.
Mr. Hamza Hussain, Superintendent of Police and Commandant of KSRP Battalion-12, was appreciated for the effective organisation and smooth conduct of the health camp, which was attended by several police personnel.
