Bengaluru, July 30: Bengaluru’s shopping districts turned into a vibrant celebration of fashion and jewellery as Mia by Tanishq launched its unique ‘Bling on Wheels’ campaign as part of the ongoing Big Bling Fest. Over three days, the brand’s signature pink, jewellery-themed vehicles travelled across prominent retail, residential and commercial hubs, bringing the festival directly to consumers beyond traditional store spaces.
The campaign was flagged off from the Titan showroom on MG Road before making its way through several key locations, including Indiranagar, HSR Layout, Kammanahalli, M5 Mall, Neeladri, Kanakapura Road, Falcon Mall, Jayanagar, Whitefield, Shantiniketan Mall, Phoenix Marketcity, Nexus Koramangala and Banashankari. At each stop, shoppers were invited to explore Mia’s latest jewellery collections, interact with the brand and participate in a range of customer engagement activities. Exclusive experiences were also organised for select customers at participating Mia outlets.
Designed as an extension of the Big Bling Fest, the moving activation combined retail, entertainment and customer engagement into a single experience. The convoy transformed busy commercial areas into lively celebration zones, attracting shoppers, families and office-goers while offering opportunities to discover Mia’s contemporary jewellery collections in an interactive setting.
One of the highlights of the campaign was the enthusiastic public response to the convoy. Visitors stopped to take photographs with the distinctive pink vehicles, browse jewellery collections and join the celebrations, creating memorable moments throughout the city.
The campaign also featured a digital engagement initiative, ‘Spot the Bling Car & Win’, encouraging residents to locate the convoy, scan QR codes displayed on the vehicles, share their sightings on social media and participate in a contest to win prizes. The initiative generated significant online engagement through user-generated content and social media interactions.
Ajay Dwivedi, Regional Business Head – South, Mia by Tanishq, said the initiative was aimed at taking the Big Bling Fest beyond store premises and connecting with customers through immersive experiences. He noted that the strong response reaffirmed the growing preference among consumers for brands that offer meaningful and engaging experiences alongside their products.
Sanjay Bhattacharjee, Head of Retail, Mia by Tanishq, said Bengaluru remains one of the brand’s key markets, with customers who value contemporary designs and experiential retail. He added that the citywide activation reflected the company’s commitment to making fine jewellery more accessible while creating memorable shopping experiences across locations where people live, work and spend their leisure time.
The Big Bling Fest will continue until August 2, featuring Mia’s latest collections in natural diamond, gold and silver jewellery, along with special festive offers. Through initiatives such as the Bengaluru convoy, the brand aims to strengthen customer engagement and establish the festival as its flagship annual celebration.
