LuLu Daily Opens New Store in JP Nagar, Creates Over 1,000 Jobs
40,000-sq-ft retail destination brings fresh produce, groceries, festive treats and electronics under one roof
Bengaluru, October 17, 2026: South Bengaluru’s retail landscape received a fresh boost with the opening of a new LuLu Daily store in JP Nagar 3rd Phase on Saturday. Spread across 40,000 sq. ft., the new outlet marks LuLu Group India’s seventh store in Bengaluru and its 22nd across India, strengthening the group’s growing presence in Karnataka.
Designed as a one-stop destination for everyday family shopping, the store offers a wide range of fresh produce, groceries, household essentials, festive delicacies and electronic accessories. The new facility is also expected to generate more than 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, providing a boost to the local economy.
M. Maheshwar Rao, IAS, Chief Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), inaugurated the store in the presence of Yusuff Ali M. A., Chairman and Managing Director of LuLu Group. Several senior executives from the group also attended the event.
The dignitaries present included Ashraf Ali M. A., Executive Director, LuLu Group International; Ananth Ram Viswanath, Director and COO, LuLu International Holdings Ltd.; V. Nandakumar, Director – Marketing and Communications, LuLu Group International; Nishad M. A., Director and CEO, LuLu Group India; Fahaz Ashraf, Director and COO, LuLu Group India; Noman Aziz Khan, Director of Karnataka, LuLu Group India; Jamal K. P., Regional Manager, LuLu Karnataka Region; and Noushad K., General Manager, LuLu Retail Karnataka.
Speaking on the occasion, Yusuff Ali said Bengaluru had welcomed the LuLu brand warmly and that JP Nagar was an important neighbourhood for the group’s expansion plans. He said the new store was designed to make everyday shopping more convenient by bringing fresh produce, quality groceries and competitively priced products together under one roof.
The store features a dedicated fresh-produce section offering fruits and vegetables sourced directly from farms. Customers can also choose from a wide range of meat, poultry and seafood, along with dairy products, bakery items, beverages, packaged foods and groceries from Indian and international brands.
In addition to food and grocery products, the outlet stocks home and personal care essentials, cleaning supplies, kitchenware and household utility products. A dedicated LuLu Connect section adds another dimension to the shopping experience, offering digital gadgets and electronic accessories.
With the festive season underway, the store has introduced a special range of traditional and contemporary sweets, ready-to-eat meals, heat-and-serve food options, gourmet products and festive gifting selections. The offerings are aimed at helping families prepare for celebrations while making shopping more convenient.
Located in JP Nagar 3rd Phase, the store is accessible to residents of neighbouring areas, including Jayanagar, BTM Layout, Banashankari, Puttenahalli, Sarakki and Uttarahalli, as well as communities along Bannerghatta Road and Kanakapura Road. Dedicated parking facilities are intended to make visits more convenient for shoppers.
To mark the opening, LuLu Daily has announced special discounts and promotional offers across several product categories from October 17 to 31, 2026.
The group is also planning further expansion in Bengaluru. Upcoming projects, including a proposed outlet at Neeladri and four other locations, are expected to strengthen its retail network and bring its shopping experience to more neighbourhoods across the city.
