“N. S. Hema Memorial Award”, “60t year Annual Day Celebration” and “N.S. Hema Memorial Lecture” In 1959, The Association for People with Disability (APD), was founded in Bangalore. Provided better opportunities, facilities and empowering disabled people strives to become a contributing member of society and lead a better life in mainstream society. Starting with a small training and manufacturing centre for the employment of persons with disabilities, it is a great achievement that today the organization has grown to a proud to running more number of programs, residential training centres and rehabilitation centres, over the 60 years of APD has reached more than five lakh disabled people.

The organization behind this achievement is founder N.S. Hema great perseverance and contribution. Bring together people with the common vision of create a society of reconciliation making the world an inclusive and furnished a platform to identified voluntary organizations who are working in the field of disability to promoting, build confidence, cooperation and direction. Organization 60th year Celebration identified an organization contribution for the disability sector at South India and in addition to recognise through admirable giving “N. S. Hema Memorial Award”, “60th year APD Annual Day Celebration” and “N.S. Hema Memorial Lecture” on 4th of October 2019, The programme held at Vijaya Rangamandira, Balabhavana, Kabban Park, Bangalore, from 10am to 1pm. The award includes one lakh cash and Award.

The Akhila Karnataka Sports Karate Association (AKSKA) is pleased to announce that the 2019 Karnataka Karate League season will start on Saturday 5th October 2019, and concludes on Sunday, 27″ October 2019. Karnataka will be the first Karate Association to conduct auctions and the professional karate league in Team fighting format for the first time in the world to promote the sport from the grass root level and recognize young talents 1. From Saturday 5th October to Sunday 27th October, 60 Team Fighting matches will be held in the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru. AKSKA is very grateful to our Leaders Mr. Priya Krishna, Mr. Ravi Subramanya, Mr.Tejasvi Surya, Mr.Anjanappa M and Mrs. Savitha Mayanna for their offer of wholehearted support to host the season 1 of Karnataka Karate League (KKL). 2. 8 Karate Franchises namely Namma Karate Club Bengaluru, Coorg Warriors, Shaivik Southern Strikers Belgavi, Karate Commandos Mangaluru, Peace Warriors Dharwad, Bijapura Sultans, Mysore Karate Tigers and Sparring Ibex Bellary will be competing for the first KKL Title. 3. Samsung Dominates the South Market with 49% Market Share in Premium QLED TV segment

Bangalore,India – 30th September , 2019: Samsung India, the country’s largest and most trusted consumer electronics and smartphones brand, has clocked a strong growth in India for their QLED TVs category with 49% value market in 2019. The market share of Samsung’s TV category in Southern India increased from 46% in first half of the year to 49% in July 2019. The brand expects to bolster its market share in western region this festive season.

India witnessed one of the biggest trends of migration to larger screens. Interestingly, the acceptance of larger display TVs has grown in tier 2 and 3 cities as compared to Tier 1 cities. This trend was majorly due to increasing preference for larger displays; in 2019, the 55” and above Samsung TV category witnessed 55% growth in non-metro cities whereas in metros and tier 1 cities it was 40%.

Samsung has been a market leader in the TV category for 13 years with 30% market share in India.
