ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂನ್ 25 – ಮಹಾಲಯ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಟೂರ್ ಟೈಮ್ಸ್, ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ರೈಲು ಪ್ರವಾಸಗಳ ಆಯೋಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದವರು, ಈ ಬಾರಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ‘ಸಪ್ತ ಮೋಕ್ಷ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಯಾತ್ರೆ’ಯನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 14 ದಿನಗಳ ಈ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಯಾತ್ರೆ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 4ರಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆಯ ಭಾರತ್ ಗೌರವ್ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ರೈಲು ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ, ಸೌತ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ರೈಲಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ.

ಯಾತ್ರೆಯು ಪ್ರಾಯಾಗ, ಗಯಾ, ಕಾಶಿ, ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆ, ಮಥುರಾ, ದ್ವಾರಕಾ, ಉಜ್ಜಯಿನಿ, ಓಂಕಾರೇಶ್ವರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ. ಮಹಾಲಯ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾತ್ರಿಕರು ಪಿಂಡ ದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಹವಾನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತ ರೈಲು, ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ವಸತಿ, ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ಸಿಸಿಟಿವಿ ಭದ್ರತೆ, ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ, ಹಾಗೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಹಾರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಕೋಚ್‌ಗೂ ಭದ್ರತಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ತಾವು ಹೋದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರ ನೀಡಿದ ಸೌತ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ರೈಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ ಅವರು, “ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಿಘ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿತ ಯಾತ್ರೆಯು ಈ ಬಾರಿ ರೂಪುಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಪ್ರವಾಸದ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿಯಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿ, ತುರ್ತು ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ, ಹಾಗೂ ಸರಕಾರೀ ನೌಕರರಿಗೆ ರಜೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ರಿಯಾಯಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವೂ ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

Apollo Cancer Centres Launches ‘CanWin’ Support Group for Cancer Survivors and Caregivers

Bengaluru, June 25:
Apollo Cancer Centres (ACCs) marked National Cancer Survivors Month with the launch of ‘CanWin’, a dedicated support group aimed at uniting cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and medical professionals through a shared platform for healing and emotional resilience.

The initiative was introduced at a special event in Bengaluru that featured cancer survivors sharing powerful personal stories under the theme ‘Stories from the STAGE by Cancer Winners’. The storytelling session showcased real-life accounts of perseverance and recovery, underscoring the importance of psychological support in cancer care.

Described as a brand-agnostic platform, CanWin is open to individuals from all backgrounds, irrespective of their treatment provider. The group seeks to create a safe space for open dialogue, mutual encouragement, and collective strength throughout the cancer journey—be it diagnosis, treatment, or survivorship.

Speaking at the event, several survivors from Bengaluru shared how the battle against cancer reshaped their outlook on life. “It wasn’t just about defeating an illness,” said one participant. “It was about discovering strength, building community, and finding purpose in each moment.”

Mr. Dinesh Madhavan, President, Group Oncology & International at Apollo Hospitals, emphasized that cancer care must evolve beyond clinical treatment.
“Medical innovation is only one part of the journey. Emotional connection and community support are equally vital. CanWin creates an ecosystem where survivors and caregivers can draw strength from shared stories and experiences.”

Dr. Preetham Kabbinahithlu, Joint Director, Clinical Administration at Apollo Cancer Centre, Bengaluru, echoed this sentiment.
“Healing is holistic. Through CanWin, we are fostering a culture of empathy, where patients and their loved ones are not alone. It’s a platform that listens, supports, and uplifts.”

The event also featured contributions from professional storytellers who mentored survivors in presenting their experiences as tools for healing and advocacy. Mr. Prashant Pradhan, a storyteller who trained participants, noted,
Oncologists at the event highlighted that cancer survival rates are improving steadily due to early detection, advanced treatment methods, and growing awareness. They stressed that emotional and psychological support plays a crucial role in ensuring quality of life for both patients and survivors.

Going forward, CanWin will organize monthly support sessions, storytelling circles, workshops led by survivors, expert talks, and volunteering opportunities to build a strong and empathetic community.

Force Motors Joins Hands with Zoho to Digitally Transform Dealer Network

Force Motors, India’s largest manufacturer of vans, has entered into a strategic partnership with Zoho Corporation to overhaul its customer and dealer management systems as part of its digital transformation initiative, Project DigiForce.

Under this collaboration, Force Motors will implement Zoho’s cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Dealer Management System (DMS) platform across its network of over 200 dealerships, 70 authorized service centres, and 30 parts hubs in India, as well as international distributors in more than 25 countries.

The new system will replace the company’s legacy software, integrating 12 AI-driven front-office applications aimed at streamlining operations in marketing, sales, customer service, and internal communications. The objective is to create a unified digital ecosystem that enhances customer experience and boosts operational efficiency throughout the sales and service journey.

Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors, said the initiative is a major leap toward delivering superior customer experiences and empowering dealer partners with advanced tools. “Our partnership with Zoho aligns with our commitment to innovation and technological advancement in India,” he said.

Zoho CEO Mani Vembu said the partnership reflects a shared vision to transform how automotive brands engage with customers. “Force Motors is bringing its legacy of engineering excellence into the digital era with a strong focus on intelligent, connected customer engagement,” he added.

The move signals Force Motors’ ambition to set new benchmarks in digital adoption within the Indian automotive sector, with technology playing a central role in driving business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Karnataka Government to Build 250-Foot Ambedkar Statue in Bengaluru: Bhim Sene Celebrates Statewide

Bengaluru, June 24, 2025:
In a landmark move, the Karnataka government has approved the construction of a 250-foot tall statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, in the capital city of Bengaluru. The decision comes after sustained efforts and advocacy by the Karnataka Bhim Sene (R) Organization, which led a coordinated campaign across the state for over a year.

To mark the government’s decision, Bhim Sene (R) organized simultaneous press conferences across Karnataka on Tuesday, distributing sweets to the public and congratulating the administration.

The organization had earlier submitted formal memorandums to Deputy Commissioners in all 80 districts on January 27, 2024, urging the government to emulate similar statues erected in Telangana (125 feet) and Andhra Pradesh (206 feet). Their efforts gained further traction during the Winter Session in Belagavi when hundreds joined the “Belagavi Chalo” movement in support of the demand.

In addition to outreach at the district level, the organization also appealed to top political leaders and institutions, including Governor Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM D. K. Shivakumar, Social Welfare Minister Dr. H. C. Mahadevappa, and various MLAs and MLCs. A joint appeal was also made by pro-Dalit organizations.

The issue gained prominence after a large gathering of over 500 Dalit leaders at the Vidhana Soudha during the 2025–26 Budget Session on February 18, followed by a massive protest at Freedom Park on March 6. A statewide media briefing on February 13 further amplified public awareness.

Responding to the collective voice, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah officially announced the project on April 14, during the 134th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. Ambedkar. The project received cabinet approval on June 19, with the statue slated to be erected on the Jnanabharati University campus in Bengaluru. A preliminary blueprint and location details have been finalized.

Bhim Sene (R) leaders have hailed the move as a victory for the community and all progressive forces. “The government has demonstrated that it listens and acts. This is a proud moment for the people of Karnataka and a lasting tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar,” on brhalf of the organization  state president Shankar Ramalingiah said at a press conference held at the Bangalore Press Club.
