Bengaluru: In a heartwarming gesture aimed at supporting underprivileged children battling cancer, Mrs. Sabrina Ahmad, daughter of philanthropist Haji Sattar Sait, owner of Safina Plaza and Safina Tower, extended meaningful assistance by donating essential items to young patients at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology.

The contribution included 100 travelling bags along with 100 sets of steel plates, glasses, and spoons-items that will significantly ease the daily challenges faced by children undergoing prolonged treatment. The initiative was designed not only to meet practical needs but also to bring comfort and a sense of care to the young beneficiaries.

The distribution event was graced by Mr. Hamza Hussain, Superintendent of Police and Commandant of KSRP Battalion 12, Tumakuru, who lauded the effort and emphasized the importance of community participation in supporting vulnerable sections of society. His presence added encouragement to both the donors and the medical community.

Senior doctors from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, including Director Dr. Naveen T., Dr. Arun Kumar, Head of the Department of Paediatric Oncology, and Dr. Mahantesh, Senior Medical Officer, were present during the occasion. ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರುದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ (ರಿ), ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಭಾರತದೆಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿ ಪಡೆದ ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಚಾರದ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ “ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರಾ ವೈದ್ಯ ಸಂಗಮ” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರೆಗಳಾದ ಮನೆಮದ್ದು, ಜನಪದ ವೈದ್ಯ, ನಾಟಿ ವೈದ್ಯ, ಪಶುವೈದ್ಯ, ಗಿಡಮೂಲಿಕೆ ವೈದ್ಯ, ವಿಷ ವೈದ್ಯ, ಮೂಳೆ ವೈದ್ಯ, ಯೋಗ, ಯುನಾನಿ, ಆಯುರ್ವೇದ, ಸಿದ್ಧ ವೈದ್ಯ, ಅಕ್ಯುಪ್ರೆಶರ್, ಅಕ್ಯುಪಂಕ್ಚರ್, ಸಂಮೋಹನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸುಗಂಧ ದ್ರವ್ಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮಸಾಜ್, ತೈಲ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ನಾಭಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಪಾದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಜಲ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಪಂಚಕರ್ಮ, ವರ್ಮಾ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ವೈದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ “ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ವೈದ್ಯರತ್ನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ” ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂವರು ಗಣ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ರೂ. 10,000 ನಗದು, ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಗಣ್ಯರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಸತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯಾವುದೇ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಂಘಟಕರು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಸುಮಾರು 500ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವೈದ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದ್ದು, ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ವೈದ್ಯರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಯೋಜಕರು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 23: ಪ್ಲಂಬಿಂಗ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನೀರು ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ‘ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ್ ಬೈ ಅಲಿಯಾಕ್ಸಿಸ್’ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ನಗರದ ಅರಮನೆ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಡೀಲರ್‌ಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಭವ್ಯ ‘ಹೋಳಿ ಮಿಲನ್’ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ದೇಶದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ 2,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಡೀಲರ್‌ಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಡೀಲರ್ ಸಮಾವೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದೆ.

ಮೂರು ದಶಕಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲವಾದ ಡೀಲರ್ ಜಾಲವಿದೆ. ಈ ಜಾಲದ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮನೆಗಳು, ಅಪಾರ್ಟ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್‌ಗಳು, ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಡೀಲರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಪಾಲುದಾರರಾಗಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಸಹಯಾತ್ರಿಗಳೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ವಿತರಕರು, ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾರಾಟ ತಂಡದವರ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಹೋಳಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ವರ್ಣರಂಜಿತವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂತು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಪಾಲುದಾರರ ನಡುವಿನ ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲೀನ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿತು.

ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ‘ಹೋಳಿ ಮಿಲನ್’ ಸರಣಿಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಡೀಲರ್‌ಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ, ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದ ಪಯಣವನ್ನು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸುಬಿಮಲ್ ಶರ್ಮಾ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಡೀಲರ್‌ಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರ ಪ್ರಮುಖವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. “ನಮ್ಮ ವಿತರಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರರು ಬ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್‌ನ ಬಲವಾದ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಸ್ಥಾನವಿದೆ. ಇವರ ನಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವು ಕೃತಜ್ಞರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹ ಹಾಗೂ ನವೀನ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ,” ಎಂದರು.

ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲವಾದ ಹಾಜರಾತಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ 55,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಡೀಲರ್‌ಗಳ ಜಾಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕಂಪನಿ, ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು 3 ಲಕ್ಷ ಟನ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಿರುವ ಏಳು ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಘಟಕಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಸತಿ, ಕೃಷಿ, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ 6,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳು ಇದರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಸೇರಿವೆ.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾ. 20: ನಗರದ ಫ್ರೀಡಂ ಪಾರ್ಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿ ದಿನವನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. “ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿಗಳ ಚಿಲಿಪಿಲಿ ಕೇಳಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿ ಗೂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ‘ಭಾರತ ಸಾರಥಿ’ ಕನ್ನಡ ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾದ ಗಂಡಸಿ ಸದಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಕಿರಿಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ, ಯುವ ಕಲಾವಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಲೇಖಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಭಟ್, ಐಟಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಮತ್ತು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರಾದ ಗುರುಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಕೆ.ಆರ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ Bengaluru Hudugaru Team ಮತ್ತು InfiWorld Foundation ಸಂಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ತಂಡದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ವಿನೋದ್ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ, ಶ್ರೀಶೈಲ ವಿ.ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 30ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿ ಗೂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿತರಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಯಲ್ಲಾಪುರ ರೇಂಜ್‌ನ ಎಸಿಎಫ್ ಸಂಗಮೇಶ್ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಗೂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
