Bangalore: The First Circle Society (FCS) is organising the first-of-its kind Udyami Vokkaliga-FC Expo 2025. This three-day entrepreneurial extravaganza dedicated to fostering the growth and success of Vokkaliga enterprises between January 3- 5. 2025 at Gayatri Grand and Gayatri Vriksha, Palace Grounds. This landmark event will showcase the entrepreneurial spirit of the Vokkaliga community while providing a platform for innovation, networking, and collaboration.
The Vokkaliga community, deeply rooted in South Karnataka for over 1,800 years, has a rich legacy of agricultural prowess and leadership across diverse sectors. Vokkaligas have played a pivotal role in shaping Karnataka’s history and development. Over time, they have excelled in education, engineering, and medicine, guided by the vision of luminaries like Kuvempu and Adichunchanagiri Shree. However, the shift in global dynamics over the past five decades has created challenges, with limited representation in trade, modern industries, and digital enterprises. Recognising this gap, FCS was established in 2022 to foster entrepreneurship within the Vokkaliga community by building a robust network of mutual growth and support.
With over 10,000 active members and branches across Karnataka, FCS promotes collaboration through marketing, sourcing, and innovation while providing professional training and mentorship. The upcoming FC Expo 2025 will bring together community entrepreneurs, showcasing their products and services while encouraging partnerships and knowledge sharing. FCS also leverages cutting-edge tools like FC Bills Tech and the FC Next App, alongside the guidance of Adichunchanagiri Mutt, to empower members with digital solutions for business growth.

ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷವೂ ಆಚರಿಸಿತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಜನವರಿ 01ರಂದು ಭೀಮ- ಕೊರೇಗಾಂವ್ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಬಾಬಾಸಾಹೇಬ ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ಬಳಗದಿಂದ ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲೂ ಸಹ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಈ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಸಮತಾ ಸೈನಿಕ ದಳವು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಕೇವಲ ಗುಲಾಮರೆಂದು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜಾತಿವಾದಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾಠಕಲಿಸುವ ಭೀಮ-ಕೊರೇಗಾಂವ್ ಯುದ್ಧದ 2 1-1-1818 ನಡೆದು ಈ ದೇಶದ ಹೊಸ ಚರಿತ್ರೆ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಮಹರ್ ಜನಾಂಗದ 500 ಸೈನಿಕರ ಪಡೆಯು ಪೂನಾದ ಪೇಳ್ವೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ 28000 ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸದೆಬಡೆದು 2ನೇ ಬಾಜಿರಾಯನನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧ ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಿದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುದುಗಿದ್ದ ವಿಷಯವು ಬಾಬಾಸಾಹೇಬ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅಧ್ಯಯನದಿಂದ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಇಂದಿನ ದೇಶದ ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಚಿಂತನೆಯೊಂದರ ಸಂಚಲನ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಜನವರಿ 01ರಂದು ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀಮಾಕೊರೇಗಾಂವ್‌ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ವೀರಯೋಧರ ವಿಜಯ ಸ್ಥಂಭದ ಸ್ಮಾರಕಕ್ಕೆ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾಂತರ ಜನತೆಯ ಭೆಟ್ಟಿಯು ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ಸಮತಾ ಸೈನಿಕ ದಳವು ಕಳೆದ 30ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಭೀಮಾಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ. 2017ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀಮ- ಕೊರೇಗಾಂವ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಜಾತಿ ಗಲಭೆಯಿಂದ ರೋಚಕ ತಿರುವು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದಲಿತ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಹೊಸ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿದೆ. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಸಮತಾ ಸೈನಿಕ ದಳವು ಪ್ರತಿ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ 31ರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ದಲಿತ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ವಿರೋಚಿತ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳ ಮೆಲುಕುಹಾಕುವ ಸಿಂಹಾವಲೋಕನದ ಸಂವಾದದ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ 12 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವಗಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡುವ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 31ರ ಸಂಜೆ 6 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿ 11.30ರವರೆಗೆ ಈ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯ ಸಿಂಹಾವಲೋಕನದ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಸಂವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ಮದ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ 12ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ವೀರಯೋಧ ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಕನ ವೇಷಧಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊನಲುಬೆಳಕಿನ ಯುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ನೃತ್ಯದ ಹಾಡಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜನವರಿ 1ರ ಭೀಮಾಕೋರೇಗಾಂವ್ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ.ಎಂ.ವೆಂಕಟಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಸಂವಾದದ ವಿವಿಧ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇತಿಹಾಸ ತಜ್ಞರಿಂದ, ಹಿರಿಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ವರ್ಗದಿಂದ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಯು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 13ರ ಸಂಜೆ 6ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಾಗಸೇನ ಬುದ್ಧ ವಿಹಾರದ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ರಾಜ್ಯಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಂವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ರಾತ್ರಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಸಮತಾ ಸೈನಿಕ ದಳ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Bengaluru, Dec. 28: Incumbent President C.S. Shadakshari was re-elected in the elections held for the Karnataka State Government Employees Association on Friday. Shadakshari received 507 votes and B.P. Krishnagowda received 442 votes. Shadakshari was elected as the President by a margin of 65 votes, while Shivarudraiah was elected as the Treasurer of the Association, announced Returning Officer A. Hanumanarasayya.
Later, C.S. Shadakshari, who won the election for the second time in a landslide and celebrated his victory with huge crowds, said that the election strategy followed by the opponents with the intention of defeating me, the power of money has reduced my margin of victory, and that in the coming days, our main objective is to implement the old retirement scheme of APS and OPS in the year 2025, as well as the health Sanjeevini scheme to benefit the families of the employees.
He said that the allegations made by the opponents that I did not win through any kind of electoral malpractice, that I won through fake voting, are far from the truth.
