ಲುಲು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಫ್ಲೀಟ್ಗಳ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕ್ಯಾಚ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೀಫುಡ್ ಫೆಸ್ಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಉತ್ಸವವು ತಾಜಾ ಮೀನು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ವಿಲಕ್ಷಣ ಸಮುದ್ರಾಹಾರದ ಆಫರ್ಗಳ ಶ್ರೇಣಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಶ್ರೀ. ರಾಜಾಜಿನಗರದ ಲುಲು ಹೈಪರ್ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂನಕಲ್ ಎಸ್.ವೈದ್ಯ ಅವರು ಲುಲು ಸೀಫುಡ್ ಫೆಸ್ಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಜಾಜಿನಗರದ ಲುಲು ಹೈಪರ್ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕನಕಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಲುಲು ಡೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫೆ.11ರವರೆಗೆ ಸಮುದ್ರಾಹಾರ ಉತ್ಸವ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.
ವಿವಿಧ ಬಗೆಯ ಮೀನುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲುಲುನಲ್ಲಿನ ಪರಿಣಿತ ಮೀನುಗಾರರಿಂದ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ತಯಾರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಅವರು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮೀನುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ಯೂನ, ಸಾಲ್ಮನ್, ಗಿಳಿ ಮೀನು, ಸೀಗಡಿ, ಮಿಂಚುಳ್ಳಿ, ಸೀಗಡಿಗಳು, ತಾಜಾ ಏಡಿ, ಕಟ್ಲ್ಫಿಶ್, ಟಿಲಾಪಿಯಾ, ಬಿಳಿ ಪಾಂಫ್ರೆಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಭೇದಗಳು ಸೇರಿವೆ. ಮೀನಿನ ಸ್ಟೀಕ್ಸ್ಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ವಿಭಾಗವೂ ಇದೆ. ಲುಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮೀನು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರವರ್ತಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಉದ್ಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಮಂಕಾಲ್ ಎಸ್.ವೈದ್ಯ, ಮೀನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದ್ರಾಹಾರದ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ರಭೇದಗಳು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿವೆ.

Bangalore, 3 February 2024: South Indian Bank, a private sector bank in India, announces the Grand Finale winners of the ‘SIB Ignite Quizathon’ – a National Level Quiz Competition held at St Joseph’s University, Bangalore.
The prestigious title of the National Champion was earned by Team Qurious Docs (Gauhati Medical College And Hospital), for demonstrating exceptional knowledge and agility, and was awarded a grand prize of Rs. 1,50,000/-. Team Neanderthals (LNMIIT Jaipur) secured the second prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- while the third prize of Rs. 60,000/- was awarded to Team Cuizzzers (Christ University) for their remarkable performances.
The Grand Finale, held at St Joseph’s University, flagged off with an introductory address by Mr. Thomas Joseph K, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer of South Indian Bank. The SIB Ignite competition aimed to captivate and inspire college students nationwide, providing a platform for them to exhibit their general knowledge and enrich their understanding of diverse subjects. The competition comprised of three rounds, starting with a preliminary qualifying round held online for teams across the nation. The winners of the preliminary round proceeded to zonal rounds and the subsequent winners, thereon to the Grand Finale for the coveted title of national champion. The grand finalists included Team Mark Men (IIM Ahmedabad), Team Cuizzzers (Christ University), Team Neanderthals (LNMIIT Jaipur), Team Qurious Docs (Gauhati Medical College And Hospital), Team TURING (RTM Nagpur University), Team Batman & Robin (IIT Palakkad), Team Keynesians (St Berchmans College Changanassery), and Team RM Girls (Pope John Paul II College of Education).

ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದವರ ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಜಮೀನು ಅಥವಾ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮೂಲಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಸಮಾಜದ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ವೃತ್ತಿಗಳಾದ ಕ್ಷೌರಿಕ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಲಾ ವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ 2ಎ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ 2ಎ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಜಾತಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇವರೊಡನೆ ಪೈಪೋಟಿ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂತಹ ಶೋಷಿತ ಹಾಗು ಕುಲವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿರುವ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ 2ಎ ಗುಂಪಿನಿಂದ ಬೇರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಇದನ್ನು ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ 1ಬಿ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜದ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಫಾಸಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ “ಹಜಾಮ/ಹಜಾಮತ್” ಎಂಬ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸದಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರ ಪದ ಬಳಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬದಲಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆದೇಶ ಮೀರಿ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಪದ ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಜಾತಿ ನಿಂದನೆ ಮೊಕದ್ದಮೆ ಹೂಡಲು ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕವಾಗಿ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿರುವ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ 2024-25ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಮುಂಗಡ ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ರೂ. 50.00 ಕೋಟಿ ಅನುದಾನ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅಥವಾ ಹೊರವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಿ.ಎ. ನಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಕಲಾ ಸಂಘಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಲು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಸಮಾಜದ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೆ ಮಾಸಾಶನ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಉಚಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಮೆ
ಸಮಾಜದ ವಸತಿ ಹೀನರಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯ ವಸತಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಸತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮತ್ತು ನಿವೇಶನ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಿಗೆ ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹಣಕಾಸು ನೆರವು ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಮುಜರಾಯಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ನಾದಸ್ವರ, ಡೋಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಯಾಕ್ರೋಫೋನ್ ನುಡಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ವಸತಿ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮತ್ತು ವೇತನ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ನಾದಸ್ವರ, ಡೋಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಯಾಕ್ರೋಫೋನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲು ಆದೇಶಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾಸಾಶನವನ್ನು ರೂ. 2000/- ದಿಂದ ರೂ. 5000/-ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಬಸ್ಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾದಸ್ವರ, ಡೋಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಯಾಕ್ರೋಫೋನ್ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ ಲಗ್ಗೇಜ್ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಪಡೆಯದಂತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲು ಮನವಿ.
ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ನೀಡುವ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ‘ನಾದಸ್ವರ, ಡೋಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಯಾಕ್ರೋಫೋನ್ ನುಡಿಸಲು ಕಲಾವಿದರನ್ನು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಮನವಿ.
ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮಾಜದ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೆ ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಸದ್ಯ ಇರುವ ಮಾಸಾಶನ ವಯೋಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು 58 ರಿಂದ 55ಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಸಲು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರೆ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ, ನಗರಸಭೆ, ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ, ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣದ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷೌರಿಕ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಲು ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲಾಯನ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ದೈತ್ಯ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಲವೃತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಬೀದಿಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜವು ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ಒಂದು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠವಾದ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ರೂಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಸವಿತಾ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತರಾಗಿ ಸದಾ ಜನರ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಾಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ನಿಗಮ, ಮಂಡಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸುವಾಗ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಎಂ. ವೀರಪ್ಪ ಮೊಯ್ಲಿರವರನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಲೋಕಸಭೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆ, ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧಾನಪರಿಷತ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಶೋಕ್ ಗಸ್ತಿ ఎంబ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷವೂ ಸಹ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ಮೇಲಿನ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎನ್. ಶಿವಶಂಕರ್, ಗೌರವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು,ಕೆ. ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಮುಖಂಡರುಗಳು ಪ್ರೆಸ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋರಿದರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆ, 2; ಕೋಲಿ ಸಮಾಜ ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂಘಟಿತರಾಗಲು ಕಲಬುರಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ತಿಂಗಳ 25 ರಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯಮಟ್ಟದ ಬೃಹತ್ ಜನಜಾಗೃತಿ ಸಮಾವೇಶ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಕೋಲಿ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒತ್ತಡ ಹೇರಲು ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಕೋಲಿ ಸಮಾಜದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಗೌರವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ತಿಪ್ಪಣ್ಣಪ್ಪ ಕಮಕನೂರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಮೂರು ದಶಕಗಳ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಕೋಲಿ, ಕಬ್ಬಲಿಗ ಸಮುದಾಯ 38 ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 38 ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಬದಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಐದು ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಸಮಾಜ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಚಿವ ಶಿವರಾಜ ತಂಗಡಗಿ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯೋಗದ ಮೂಲಕ ತೆರಳಿ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಎಸ್.ಟಿ. ಪಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವವಂತೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಬರುವ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಹಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಸಮಾವೇಶವನ್ನು ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕ್ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಶರಣಬಸಪ್ಪ ದರ್ಶನಾಪುರ, ಡಾ.ಶರಣಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಭೋಸರಾಜು, ಶಿವರಾಜ ತಂಗಡಗಿ, ಮತ್ತಿತರೆ ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು, ಗಣ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಮುಂಭಾಗ ಅಂಬಿಗರ ಚೌಡಯ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ, ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಶ್ರೇಯೋಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೆ ಬಜೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ 200 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ, ನಿಗಮಕ್ಕೆ 500 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ, ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಕೋಲಿ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಉದ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.90ರಷ್ಟು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಪ್ಪಣ್ಣಪ್ಪ ಕಮಕನೂರ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು. ಕೋಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗಂಗಾಮತ ಸಮಾಜದ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ.ಕೆ. ಮೋಹನ ಕುಮಾರ್, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಣ್ಣೂರು ನಾಗರಾಜ್, ಕೋಲಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಾಯಿಬಣ್ಣ ಬೋರಬಂಡಾ, ಶರಣಪ್ಪ ನಾಟೀಕಾರ, ರಮೇಶ್ ಎನ್.ನಾಟೀಕಾರ, ಬಸವರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್ ಹರವಾಳ, ಸುನೀಲ್ ಭಾವಿಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಶಶಿಕಿರಣ, ಶರಣುಮಂದ್ರವಾಡ, ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಭಂಕಲಗಿ, ಉದಯಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಮಕನೂರು ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
