HEART PATIENT UNFIT FOR SURGERY, SUCCESSFULLY UNDERGOES KIDNEY STONE REMOVAL AT UNITED HOSPITAL JAYANAGAR BANGALORE

SPECIAL CASE REPORT : HEART PATIENT UNFIT FOR SURGERY, SUCCESSFULLY UNDERGOES KIDNEY STONE REMOVAL AT UNITED HOSPITAL JAYANAGAR BANGALORE

A young lady who had heart disease from birth approached United Hospital in Jayanagar, Bangalore with severe pain in the abdomen. This was diagnosed to be due to kidney stones that required removal. The problem was her heart disease which stood in the way of her receiving any type of anesthesia. Neither general nor regional anesthesia was possible. Lead Consultant Urologist and Director Clinical Excellence at United hospital, Dr Rajeev Bashetty considered ESWL –a non invasive process for removing kidney stones. The next hurdle faced was that the stone was too big more than 2.5 cm , and she needed to have a stent placed in the ureter.
Cardiologists opined that her heart condition made any anaesthesia a risky process.
Dr Sagar Srinivas, Lead Consultant Anesthesiologist then evaluated the problem faced by the patient who needed relief from the pain, infection and probable damage to urinary tract caused by this large stone .He agreed to manage this high risk case using only IV sedation with careful monitoring of her cardiac status.

Dr Rajeev Bashetty,Lead Consultant Urologist and Director Clinical Excellence then performed the procedure of DJ stenting and ESWL. The entire burden of stone fragments was cleared by RIRS; with the patient having stable cardiac status throughout the process

Dr Shantkumar Muruda Executive Director of United Hospital, Jayanagar said that that in this case there was no margin for any error.Hospital was ready with back up for any complication. Each step necessitated critical attention. The patient is now recovering well.

Dr Vikram Siddareddy, Chairman and Managing Director stated that United Hospital has a well equipped ICU and dedicated ,trained staff to successfully handle such complicated cases.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನವೆಂಬರ್‌ 21: ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಹೃದ್ರೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಅಸ್ಸಾಂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಯುವತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಅನಸ್ತೇಷಿಯಾ ಚುಚ್ಚುಮದ್ದು ನೀಡದೇ ಕೇವಲ ಐ ವಿ ಸೆಡೇಷನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಕ್ಲಿಷ್ಟಕರ ಕಿಡ್ನಿ ಕಲ್ಲು ನಿವಾರಣೆ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನ ಜಯನಗರದ ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್‌ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ವೈದ್ಯರು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಹೃದ್ರೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಯುವತಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳು ಅತಿಯಾದ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆನೋವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್‌ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆನೋವಿಗೆ ಮೂತ್ರಪಿಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಹೃದ್ರೋಗಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಅರಿವಳಿಕೆ ಚುಚ್ಚುಮದ್ದನ್ನು (ಅನಸ್ತೇಷಿಯಾ) ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವಂತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮೂತ್ರಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞ (ಯೂರಾಲಜಿಸ್ಟ್‌) ಹಾಗೂ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಕ್ಲಿನಿಕಲ್‌ ಎಕ್ಸಲೆನ್ಸ್‌ನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಡಾ.ರಾಜೀವ್‌ ಬಾಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ESWL ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿ ಮೂತ್ರದ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯುವುದು ಎಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾದ ಸವಾಲೆಂದರೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಮೂತ್ರಕೋಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಲ್ಲು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗಾತ್ರದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಮೂತ್ರನಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಟಂಟ್‌ ಹಾಕಲೇ ಬೇಕಾದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಹೃದಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಾದ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಅರಿವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೃದ್ರೋಗ ತಜ್ಞರು ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಹೈ ರಿಸ್ಕ್‌ ಕೇಸ್‌ ಆಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ರೋಗಿಯ ಮೂತ್ರಪಿಂಡದ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ತಗೆಯಲು ಬೇರೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಇದನ್ನು ಸವಾಲಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್‌ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಅತಿಯಾದ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ನೋವು, ಸೋಂಕು ಹಾಗೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಮೂತ್ರನಾಳದ ಹಾನಿಯನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿದರು. ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಅರಿವಳಿಕೆ ತಜ್ಞರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸಾಗರ್ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್‌ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೂಲಂಕಷವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದರು. ಅತಿಯಾದ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡ ವೈದ್ಯರು ಕೇವಲ ಐ ವಿ ಸೆಡೇಷನ್, ನಿದ್ರೆಗೆ ಜಾರುವ (IV ಸೆಡೇಶನ್‌) ಔಷಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹೃದಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

ನಂತರ ಡಾ.ರಾಜೀವ್‌ ಬಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಡಿಜೆ ಸ್ಟೆಂಟಿಂಗ್‌ ಹಾಗೂ ESWL ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ರೋಗಿಯ ಮೂತ್ರಕೋಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರತೆಗೆದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ರೋಗಿಯ ಹೃದಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್‌ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಶಾಂತಕುಮಾರ ಮುರುಡಾ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ʼಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ತಪ್ಪೂ ಆಗುವಂತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ನಮ್ಮ ವೈದ್ಯತಂಡ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು,. ರೋಗಿಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಚೇತರಿಕೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆʼ ಎಂದು ಹರ್ಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ʼಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತವಾದ ICU ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಂಥ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವಂಥ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದ ತಜ್ಞ ವೈದ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು ಒಪ್ಪದ ಈ ಕ್ಲಿಷ್ಟಕರ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇಂತಹ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಕ್ಲಿಷ್ಟಕರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಸಜ್ಜಾಗಿದೆʼ ಎಂದು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಹಾಗೂ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಡಾ.ವಿಕ್ರಮ್‌ ಸಿದ್ದಾರೆಡ್ಡಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

An international summit on Sustainable Development – Global Challenges: aiming to transfer our world was held at AIMS Institutes, Bangalore held on 19th November 2022.

The summit was inaugurated by the chief guests from Sri Lanka are Lion Dr. M. Reginolld, Global Chairman, SUNFO and Dr. Deshapriya S. Wijetunge, Director General, SUNFO, Guests of Honour… and the others being Dr. Anand Kishore Kola, Professor, NIT, Warangal, Dr. D. A. Thejeswari, Director, Vydehi Institutions, Ms. Kavitha S Gowda, KAS, Executive Director, Karnataka Skill Development Corporation.
The Keynote speaker was Dr. Harikrishna Maram, Founder Chairman, Global Economic Forum. There were three plenary sessions on the following topics from the seventeen (17) of United Nations – Sustainable Development Goals (SDG):

  2. Life on Land: Protect, Promote and Restore Terrestrial Eco-System
  3. Decent work and Economic Growth: Inclusive and Sustainable Economic
    Development

ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯಗಳ ಸಿರಿತನ ಸಾರುವ ಕವಿತೆಗಳು, ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕವನಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯ ಕಾವ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವನ್ನು ನವಂಬರ್ 20, 2022ರ ಭಾನುವಾರದಂದು ಮಳವಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ತೆಂಕಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮಳವಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ತೆಂಕಹಳ್ಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯ ಕಾವ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು 86ನೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ನಿಯೋಜಿತ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಕವಿಗಳು, ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ರಚನಕಾರರು.ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರಾದ ಡಾ.ದೊಡ್ಡರಂಗೇಗೌಡರವರು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಿದ್ದು,

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಆರ್ಗ್ ಟ್ರೇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಮಹೇಶ್ ರವರು ವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಳವಳ್ಳಿ ವಿಧಾನ ಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಕೆ ಅನ್ನದಾನಿ, ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮೈಸೂರು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ (ಆಡಳಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ) ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಿ. ಶಿವರಾಜು ಕೆ.ಎ.ಎಸ್ ರವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಸುತ್ತೂರಿನ ಜೆಎಸ್ಎಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ, ಸಂಯೋಜನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ಜಿ.ಎಲ್ ತ್ರಿಪುರಾಂತಕ, ಚಲನ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕವಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಂತಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಕೆ.ಸಿ. ಶಿವಪ್ಪ, ಕಾವ್ಯ, ಕಥೆ, ಕಾದಂಬರಿ, ಖ್ಯಾತ ವಿಮರ್ಶಕರು, ಜಾನಪದ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಶರು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಶ್ರೀ. ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಬೈರಮಂಗಲ ರಾಮೇಗೌಡರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕವಯತ್ರಿ, ಲೇಖಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೇಖಕಿಯರ ಸಂಘ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಹೆಚ್ ಎಸ್ ಪುಷ್ಪರವರು ಕವಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಲೇಖಕರಾದ ಡಾ.ರಾಮಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ(ಸಿಸಿರಾ) ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯ ಕಾವ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಕವಿ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕವಿ ಮನಗಳು ಕಾವ್ಯವಾಚಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕವಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಮೂರು ಕವನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಥಮ 25000, ದ್ವಿತೀಯ 15000, ತೃತೀಯ 10000, .ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸದರಿ ಕವಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ. ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಕೃಷಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಇದರ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಆಹಾರದ ಲಾಭಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವಾಗಿದೆ.
