Rotary Gurudakshine Award

Gurudakshine is a joint project of four rotary clubs in Rotary International District 3190 .

Gurudakshine has two objectives:One–‘Gurudakshine Awards’ for outstanding teachers in 8 categories and Two-to build a corpus to help the Teachers at their time of need.

Pleased to release the details of much awaited `Gurudakshine Award,. They are pleased to invite nominations for the Gurudakshine Award from the Educators. Following are the categories of Awards for the excellence in Teaching by Teachers/ Educators working in the respective areas.Nomination can be done by self/anyone or Institution or organisation or Rotary Clubs. Documentation requirements are same in both cases.

Teaching portfolios are usually 6–10 pages in length, and maycontain supplementary material in appendices.A teaching portfolio is similar to an artist’s portfolio: it is a material record of things developed in practising your profession. It contains both primary material –
documents produced in the course of teaching and
secondary material – documents produced in reflection upon teaching. Creating portfolios allows teachers to think seriously about their teaching
goals and strategies, and to present those thoughts to others.

For these Gurudakshine Awards create a portfolio to:

Showcase 3 innovative ideas in teaching, learning or assessment that teachers have recently tried out with their students.
Each of these ideas must be described in about 300 words and accompanied by at least 2 samples of evidence of the idea having been implemented in class – in the form of 2 photographs, 2 min video clips, student feedback, school head’s or peer feedback and a self-reflection on what makes the idea
innovative for you.
c) Service above Self :
Please describe instances of service extending beyond self (Selfless Service) involving you in your past.
This shall be a pdf file.
Additional requirements for nomination for category 5 and 6 : Please provide details of your 3 students with their contact details who have achieved in their respective
field under your guidance

This Republic Day, Manipal Hospitals honors Bengaluru based Ms. Pooja Bajaj, a self-driven, ardent motorcyclist, and entrepreneur who underwent a devastating surgery in Manipal Hospitals, Old Airport Road and bounced back on her feet to pursue her passion.
Symbolizing that Life’s On, Pooja Bajaj was back on her bike within 26 days after facing a serious accident that crushed her entire collar bone. Her surgery was done only after 6 days at Manipal Hospitals, and multiple titanium plates, bolts & screws cover 85% of her right shoulder. Her passionate persona is sure to inspire the youth in taking all that life can throw and being perseverance to accomplish one’s dreams.
This Republic Day, Manipal Hospitals also highlights that India has proved yet again to the world that our country’s healthcare infrastructure is far superior and advanced than ever. Today, the country has another reason to celebrate, as the nation stands on par with the western countries in successfully developing and distributing a vaccine for the ongoing virus.

FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR QUARTER ENDED 31st DECEMBER 2020
Bank’s Global Business reached Rs.1640582 crore

Key Highlights (9 Months period ended) (Dec 2019 V/s Dec 2020)

Domestic Business of the Bank grew by 8.69%.
Net-Interest Income grew by 21.47%.

Non-Interest Income grew by 28.64%.

Operating Profit grew by 37.29%.

Net Profit grew by 112.21%.

Domestic NIM improved by 26 bps.

Cost to Income Ratio improved by 488 bps.

Retail Credit grew by 9.33% with Housing loan at 13.32%.

CASA Deposits increased by 14.89%.
Retail term deposit grew by 18.19%.

Gross NPA Ratio down by 236 bps.

Net NPA Ratio down by 298 bps.
Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) improved by 1452 bps.
CRAR stood at 13.69% as at Dec 2020. Out of which Tier-I is 10.45% and Tier-II is 3.24% as at Dec 2020.

The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI). founded on December 27, 1948 has been on the forefront on all aerospace activities contributing to the growth and self-reliance (Atmanirbhar) of acrospace technologies in India. The Society claims 17 regional centers all over India with 13000 professionals as its members and more than 50 corporate member- organizations.

AeSi in association with HAL, DRDO, İSRO and private industries is organizing Aero Intemational Webinar 2021 on the theme “Advanced Frontier Technologies for Aerospace and Defence” on 29th & 30, Jan 2021.This event is scheduled as a prelude to the AERO INDIA-2021 and as the flagship event of aerospace fraternity.
