O.P. Jindal Global University has been ranked in the top 101-150 ‘Young’ Universities in the world by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). JGU is the first and only private university from India and the only Indian university, which solely focuses on Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities to feature in the QS Young University Rankings 2021. These rankings of young universities, which are under the age of 50 years, have just been released by QS, one of the leading and influential ranking agencies in the world.

Of the four Indian Universities which made it to the top 150 QS World University under 50 rankings, JGU is the only non-STEM, non-Medicine University to feature in this list, which demonstrates JGU’s ability to make a large impact and break stereotypes in a short period. The QS World University Rankings represent a vast landscape of universities right from young universities with a few years behind them to universities that have been around for hundreds of years. This puts younger universities in a very competitive pool given the relatively less time they have had to represent their establishment. Therefore, the Young University Rankings of QS is a very important measure of the innovation, strong governance, and high impact that young universities have been able to achieve in less than 50 years.

Earlier this month, JGU was recognized in the QS World University Rankings 2021 among the top 651-700 universities in the world. JGU was also recognized as India’s number one private university, India’s number one university to solely focus on Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and the youngest Indian University to have featured in the QS WUR 2021.

Highest ever pre-sales of 4.3 mn sft in FY20 and Collections of Rs. 2,539 Crores

Brigade Enterprises Limited’s Consolidated Revenues for the year ended 31^st March 2020 was Rs. 2,682 crores as compared to Rs. 3,027 crores for FY19. PAT after Minority Interest was at 131 crores as compared to Rs.240 Crores for FY19.

Operational Highlights:

Achieved 3 Mn sq ft. of sales in FY20 compared to 3 Mn sq ft. in FY19 (44 % increase)
Sale value of Rs. 2,377 Crores in FY20 vs Rs. 1,644 Crores in FY19. (45 % increase)

Final Dividend

The Board had declared and paid an Interim Dividend of Rs. 1.00 per equity share in March 2020 (10%). There is no final dividend recommended by the Board. The Interim Dividend paid in March 2020 will be the final dividend for the financial year 2019-20.

COVID 19 relief efforts and initiatives

Around 9,500-10,000 migrant workers supported with ‘ Dry Ration’ and money was remitted to their Jan Dhan Bank Accounts/given in hand.
Provided 3,65,000 meals during the lockdown period to migrant workers and economically weaker section of the society.
Over 7 truck loads of rice distributed in Chennai.
Dry rations provided to more than 3,500 families in Bangalore and bread loaves of over 11,500 provided in slums.

Outlook

The Group is currently developing about 21.4 million Sq. ft across Residential, Office, Retail and Hotel segments. Further, launches to the extent of about 4.5 million Sq. ft. are planned for the financial year 2020-21.

I feel very sad to learn the news of SUICIDE OF SHRI VIJAYA SHANKAR , an IAS officer of Karnataka cadre. May his soul rest in peace ..

I earnestly appeal to all All India Service officers and Heads of Departments. Please don’t do any thing in violation of Law and Rules , at the instance of Political Masters . Please don’t hanker after any postings and pay any money including astronomical sums for postings . Political Masters are thick skinned, they collect 90% of your illicit earnings , treat you as slaves and you alone will be answerable to all your sins and mistakes . They will never shed a tear for you and will never own responsibility and never care for what happens to you and your family. In rare cases , when they go to Jail they go in procession and when they return they will be welcomed with crackers bursting and Aarati into their homes . Never be afraid of them, as at least 75% of them are morally bankrupt and most lecherous and greedy , selfish, rank corrupt , beings without an iota of regard, concern for the State , Nation and Soceity. They behave as if they went to Kashi Yatra or Tirumalai Yatra .. But you , mostly coming from middle class families and educated , have sense of shame and regard your honour. You cannot suffer the humiliation of arrest and interrogation. Worst they can do is to transfer you .., So please don’t do anything in violation of Laws and Rules , to please your Political Masters and don’t ask for any postings . Otherwise you will be invite ignomy and eternal infamy and grief to you and your family and family name . Be firm . Nobody can do anything to you . Right until your demise , Government is bound to take care of you with your pay, pension and family pension . Let this tragedy wake you up and keep you vigilant for the rest of the period of your service .

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಸ್ಟಾಕ್ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳು ಸತತ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿನವೂ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ವಹಿವಾಟು ನಡೆಸಿದವು. ಇಂದಿನ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಿಫ್ಟಿ 10 ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಕ್‌ಗಿಂತ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದು ಶೇಕಡ 1.55 ಅಥವಾ 159.80 ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್‌ಗಳ ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡು 10,471.00 ಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ಎಸ್ & ಪಿ ಬಿಎಸ್ಇ ಸೆನ್ಸೆಕ್ಸ್ ಶೇಕಡ 1.49 ಅಥವಾ 519.11 ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡು 35,430.43 ಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಏಂಜಲ್‌ ಬ್ರೋಕಿಂಗ್‌ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್‌ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಹೆಡ್‌ ಅಡ್ವೆಂಸರಿ ಆಮರ್‌ ದಿಯೋ ಸಿಂಗ್‌ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಪೇಜ್ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರೀಸ್ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ತ್ರೈಮಾಸಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಏಕೀಕೃತ ಲಾಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಕಡ 58.7 ಕುಸಿತವನ್ನು ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಆದಾಯವು ಶೇಕಡ 11 ರಷ್ಟು ಕುಸಿಯಿತು. ಇದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಷೇರುಗಳು ಶೇಕಡ 1.19 ರಷ್ಟು ಕುಸಿದವು. ಷೇರು ರೂ. 19,161.05.

ಬಜಾಜ್ ಫೈನಾನ್ಸ್ ಷೇರು ಶೇಕಡ 9.28 ಗಳಿಸಿ ರೂ. ಇಂದಿನ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ 3,104.00 ಅಗ್ರ ನಿಫ್ಟಿ 50 ಗಳಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಿಂದ ಈ ಸ್ಟಾಕ್ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಗಳಿಸಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಕಡ 65 ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದೆ.

ಲಾರ್ಸೆನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟೌಬ್ರೊ ಅವರ ಪಾಲು ಶೇಕಡ 6.73 ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ರೂ. 968.50 ಕಂಪನಿಯು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೊತ್ತದ ಆದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ನಂತರ ಒಟ್ಟು ರೂ. 5,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ನೀರು ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣಾ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಇಪಿಸಿ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿದೆ.

ಗ್ಲೆನ್‌ಮಾರ್ಕ್‌ನ ಷೇರು ಬೆಲೆ ಶೇಕಡ 6.64 ರಷ್ಟು ಇಳಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ರೂ. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಫವಿಪಿರಾವೀರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಿದ ನಂತರವೂ ಕೋವಿಡ್-19 ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೌಮ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ರೋಗಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಔಷಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

ನೋಮುರಾ ಅವರ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಲ್ಗೇಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ಕಂಪನಿ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಷೇರುಗಳು ಶೇಕಡ 0.35 ರಷ್ಟು ಇಳಿದು ರೂ. ಇಂದಿನ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ 73.10 ರೂ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಸಾಲ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಂಪನಿಯಾದ ರಿಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರೀಸ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ ಶೇಕಡ 1.40 ನಷ್ಟು ಇಳಿದು ರೂ. 1,721.70 ರ ನಂತರ ವಿದೇಶಿ ದಲ್ಲಾಳಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ವಾರಿ, ಆರ್‌ಐಎಲ್‌ನ ಔಣಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅಪಾಯ-ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಈಕ್ವಿಟಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಭಾವನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಯುಎಸ್ ಡಾಲರ್ನಲ್ಲಿನ ದೌರ್ಬಲ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸತತ ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನವೂ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಡಾಲರ್ ಎದುರು ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ರೂ .75.64 ಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕಚ್ಚಾ ತೈಲ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣೆಯು ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು 3.87 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಬ್ಯಾರೆಲ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ಏರಿತು. ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾದ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಡಿಲಗೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕೊರೊನಾ ರೋಗದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳದ ನಡುವೆಯು ಚಿನ್ನದ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆ

ಯುಎಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಚೀನಾದ ಕೆಲವು ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಕರೋನವೈರಸ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸೋಮವಾರ, ಸ್ಪಾಟ್ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಬೆಲೆಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ 0.7 ನ್ಸ್‌ಗೆ 1754.5 ಡಾಲರ್‌ಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ರೋಗದ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆಯು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ವತ್ತು, ಚಿನ್ನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು.

ಯು.ಎಸ್. ಫೆಡರಲ್ ರಿಸರ್ವ್ನ ವರದಿಗಳು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕುಗಳು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಪ್ರಚೋದನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಷಾಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಹಳದಿ ಲೋಹದ ಬೆಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿವೆ.

ಸ್ಪಾಟ್ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬೆಲೆ 1.25 ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಔನ್ಸ್‌ಗೆ 8 17.8 ಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಎಂಸಿಎಕ್ಸ್‌ನ ಬೆಲೆಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿ ಕೆ.ಜಿ.ಗೆ ರೂ .48500 ಕ್ಕೆ 0.28 ರಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಕಡಿತವನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಒಪೆಕ್ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಡಬ್ಲ್ಯುಟಿಐ ಕಚ್ಚಾ ಬೆಲೆ 1.79 ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡು ಬ್ಯಾರೆಲ್‌ಗೆ .5 40.5 ಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ.

ಕಚ್ಚಾ ತೈಲದ ಲಾಭವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿದೆ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಚೀನಾದಂತಹ ಅನೇಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಕರೋನವೈರಸ್ನ ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿವೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಮಂಕಾದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ವಾಯು ಮತ್ತು ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಂಚಾರದ ಮೇಲಿನ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಗಳು ತೈಲ ಬೆಲೆಗಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸೀಮಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ.
