World University of Design Welcomes Applications for 2025 Academic YearThe application forms ae now available and the deadline for submission is January 08, 2025.

Bangalore , 5th December 2024: World University of Design (WUD), India’s first University dedicated to education in the creative domain, is inviting online applications from candidates seeking admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2025. WUD offers a range of courses to its students wherein they can choose the disciplines of their choice, including architecture, design, fashion, communication, visual arts, performing arts and management. Each school at WUD offers a range of unique courses, giving students an array of specialized career paths to explore and pursue.
The application process has been streamlined with necessary forms easily accessible on the university’s official website. Following the application process, candidates must take the WUD Design Aptitude Test (WUDAT 2025) on 11th and 12th January 2025, which applies to nearly 30 programs across multiple disciplines. The entrance exam will be conducted online, enabling candidates to conveniently take the test from home. The two-hour exam will consist of sections with multiple-choice questions covering Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, General Knowledge, and a drawing-based component.

The university conducts the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), Art Aptitude Test (AAT) and General Aptitude Test (GAT) to evaluate candidates’ suitability for creative education and to shortlist potential students. CUET scores are also applicable for admission into specific degree programs. Additionally, WUD shares a result partnership with IIT Bombay which holds the national-level UCEED and CEED exams, the scores of which are also accepted for admission into B.Des and M.Des degree programs.
WUD sets benchmarks in education by combining academic excellence with extracurricular activities, preparing students for both careers and life. Bangalore, 15th November: – Ekya Schools is thrilled to present the FIND Festival 2024, India’s first-ever dedicated K-12 learning festival, designed to foster transformative and forward-thinking approaches to education. During the event Ekya Nava, set to be inaugurated on 17th November 2024 by Shri Madhu Bangarappa, Education Minister, Government of Karnataka and a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, will introduce a new category in K-12 education: purpose-driven schools. The 2024 FIND Festival is being held at the Ekya Nava in Panathur, Bengaluru on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 10 AM onwards. Ashoka University Announces Scholarships for All Young India Fellows in Class of 2025-26: Applications Now Open!

Bangalore, October 23, 2024: Ashoka University, India’s premier interdisciplinary higher education and research institution, today announced that all Fellows selected for the upcoming cohort of the Young India Fellowship (Class of 2025-26) will receive partial or full scholarships. The admissions process opened on *October 15, 2024*, offering scholarships ranging from 25% to a full 100% waiver covering tuition, residence, and meals along with stipends for additional financial assistance. The prestigious Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship will also continue to be awarded in the Class of 2026.

Currently, 81% of the Young India Fellows are either partially or fully funded with 60% of the cohort benefiting from a full tuition waiver or more. Notably about one-third of the Class of 2025 Fellows identify as first-generation college goers, and 61% as female. With this new initiative, Ashoka University is furthering its commitment to making the Fellowship more accessible to exceptional and deserving individuals coming from all walks of life. The increase in scholarships for the current and next cohort has been made possible primarily through the generous support of HDFC Bank.

*Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process: YIF Class of 2026*

The Class of 2026 will comprise around 100 Fellows. Candidates of all age groups and nationalities, across diverse academic, professional, geographical and socioeconomic backgrounds, who have a recognised undergraduate degree in any discipline by July 2025 or earlier (can be a final-year student at the time of application) are eligible to apply for the YIF.

The admissions process opened on *October 15, 2024* and is split into two rounds, with the first application deadline being *January 5, 2025.* Candidates are encouraged to apply early, even within a round, to partake in the rolling personal interviews process.

Aspiring candidates can apply by visiting *apply.ashoka.edu.in* to register and complete the online application. Following holistic assessment of applications, a number of candidates will be shortlisted for personal interviews. Additionally, some of these shortlisted candidates may be invited to interview for the Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship.

All Fellows who receive an offer of admission are guaranteed a minimum 25% tuition waiver, with some also being awarded the prestigious Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship. All admitted and waitlisted candidates will have the opportunity to apply for need-based Financial Aid, which goes upto a full-waiver on the entire fee along with stipends for additional assistance.
