2^nd July 2020: XLRI – XLRI-Xavier School of Management announces the start of the admission process of 120 students for the first batch of

XLRI IDelhi-NCR Campus for the academic Session 2020-2022. Two sections of 60 students each for the Business Management program will be offered admissions. The AICTE has given formal approval to start the operations of the XLRI IDelhi-NCR campus. The New Campus will be the first branch of one of the most reputed B-Schools of the country – XLRI, Jamshedpur.

XLRI IDelhi-NCR campus is located in Jhajjar District, at Aurangpur, which is 25 km from Gurugram and is centrally connected to the main districts like Delhi, Gurgaon, and Rewari.The foundation stone for the XLRI I Delhi-NCR campus in Jhajjar Districtwas laid on 16 January 2017. Shri Om Prakash Dhankar, Cabinet minister, Government of Haryana unveiled the plaque of the foundation stone, and Rev. Anil Couto, Archbishop of Delhi, blessed the foundation stone.

The new state-of-the-art campus is spread over an area of 36 acres, has been designed to promote eco-friendly living and to foster climate consciousness. The orientation of the campus buildings has been planned using detailed sun studies and applying concepts of solar-passive architecture. The areas that receive harsher sunlight have a second skin in the form of ventilated cladding. The new campus has earned a Gold-level Green Building Certification, and it has been designed using IGBC guidelines to be able to achieve a platinum rating from IGBC in the future.

In the years ahead, the new XLRII Delhi-NCR campus will offer a broad portfolio of courses including the regular, Two-year post-graduate programs in Human Resource Management and Business Management – PGDM HRM & PGDM BM. 15-months Executive General Management Programme for the executives having experience of more than five years – Executive PGDM GMP.  Fellow Program in Management – FPM. Corporate Programmes and Certificate Programme in Entrepreneurship and other industry-relevant short and long term programs will be launched in a phase-wise manner. 

XLRI announced the results for the admission of the two-year post-graduate program in Human Resource Management & Business Management for Jamshedpur Campus on 20 May 2020.The results for Executive PGDM (GM) program have also been announced and orientation classes are underway. A total of 590 candidates have been offered admission for Jamshedpur and Delhi campuses. 

While announcing the admission process for the first batch of XLRI IDelhi-NCR campus Fr. P. Christie S.J., Director, XLRI-Xavier School of Management said “XLRI is India’s First B-School, and for seventy years, we had just one campus at Jamshedpur. We are glad to announce that XLRI’s Delhi-NCR campus is all set to start with 120 students for the Business Management program for 2020-22 academic session with the AICTE approval. XLRI has been focusing on helping build the nation with a focus on ethical and value-based management education and grooming future business leaders of India to help shape the destiny of a new India. With the commencement of the Delhi-NCR campus, the institute would augment the intake of students to 600 students. O.P. Jindal Global University has been ranked in the top 101-150 ‘Young’ Universities in the world by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). JGU is the first and only private university from India and the only Indian university, which solely focuses on Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities to feature in the QS Young University Rankings 2021. These rankings of young universities, which are under the age of 50 years, have just been released by QS, one of the leading and influential ranking agencies in the world. 

Key Highlights of the QS Young University Rankings 2021 

• JGU has been ranked in the 101-150 band among the young universities under the age of 50 years in the world.
• JGU is India’s First & Only Private University to feature in these rankings.
• JGU is the only non-STEM, non-Medicine Indian university to have featured in these rankings.

Of the four Indian Universities which made it to the top 150 QS World University under 50 rankings, JGU is the only non-STEM, non-Medicine University to feature in this list, which demonstrates JGU’s ability to make a large impact and break stereotypes in a short period. JGU has yet again successfully demonstrated that age is merely a number, and a futuristic vision backed by a robust implementation is what it takes to achieve great heights.

The QS World University Rankings represent a vast landscape of universities right from young universities with a few years behind them to universities that have been around for hundreds of years. This puts younger universities in a very competitive pool given the relatively less time they have had to represent their establishment. Therefore, the Young University Rankings of QS is a very important measure of the innovation, strong governance, and high impact that young universities have been able to achieve in less than 50 years. 

Earlier this month, JGU was recognized in the QS World University Rankings 2021 among the top 651-700 universities in the world. JGU was also recognized as India’s number one private university, India’s number one university to solely focus on Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and the youngest Indian University to have featured in the QS WUR 2021.

Bengaluru, 10^th June 2020 : Aakash Educational Services Ltd. (AESL), the national leader in test preparation services, has launched a television campaign titled “Padhai Hamari Jaari Hai” highlighting Aakash Institute as a coach, an enabler and as a partner for students and parents at every step of their journey,no matter what the situation is.

The TVC will be aired on leading TV channels pan-India and online channels including YouTube and OTT platforms. It will be a 40 second one on TV Channels and a 90 second commercial on online channels.

With the launch of this campaign, AESL reiterates its mission to help mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic by ensuring continuous support to students. The campaign is aimed at informing students and parents about the initiatives taken by AESL to ensure that learning goes on.

The campaign focuses on bridging the gap between geographies and making students and parents aware of AESL’s online learning platforms. All regular classroom batches of AESL are running on schedule without any delay or disruption, with the faculties taking live online classes.

The ad campaign focuses on AESL’s Classroom Online Study Plan offered to maintain continuity in the student’s study schedule. The Online Study Plan includes features like Daily Video Lectures, Daily Live Classes, Daily Practice Tests, Live Doubt Sessions and Weekly and Monthly Tests.
