Bengaluru: RV College of Engineering (RVCE) and RV-SKILLS, Center for Emerging Technologies established under RV Educational Institutions are exploring the possibilities of getting their students trained by semiconductor and other emerging technology companies in Taiwan.
Dr. Geetha, Vice Principal of RV College of Engineering and Mr. Basavaraj Nagaraju CEO of RV-SKILLS, were in Taiwan from August 25 to September 3. During the visit, they met the representatives of various companies and educational institutions to build a partnership for conducting training for the RV students. They identified partners in Taiwan to impart training in the best technologies and processes to their students. This would help in empowering meeting market demand.
Moreover, the industries have identified more than 50% business limitations for expanding and investing in semiconductor process is lack of skilled engineers. Dr. Geetha and Mr Nagaraju have visited the globally acclaimed National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Minghisn University of Science and Technology, Hsinchu Science Park, Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), among others. TSMC is one of the largest companies that supply more than 65% of the global chips. Its clients include Apple, Google, Nvidia, and Qualcomm.
Mr Nagaraju, while sharing the outcome of his ongoing visit in a statement, has said RV-SKILLS was the first training institute in India to invest and develop the industry-ready training programs. Now, it is planning to expand the training programs through collaborations with industry leaders in Taiwan. The goal is to equip RV-SKILLS and RVCE students, he added.
“We have identified emerging technologies, and we want our students to get trained in them. Taiwan has been successful in building a right ecosystem that matches the market demand because it has clear vision, focused investments, and appropriate infrastructure support,” he added.
He further pointed out that during his visits, he found that some of the universities, on their premises, have factory setups including fabrication facilities, packaging, testing, and assembly systems. This has been done ahead of the industry demand. They have collaborated with the industry as well as the government, he pointed out.
The RV Educational Institutions initiative comes at a time when India has made the semiconductor sector a priority one. The RVEI is studying the evolution and adoption of the latest technologies in its colleges’ infrastructure and curriculum. Taiwan’s commitment and progress in the sector is an eye-opener.

We are committed to making similar investments in our institutions in the coming days. RVCE has been pioneers in adopting new ideas and proactive with the industrial growth cycle. With semiconductors being the priority segment in the country and the world is also looking for China+1 strategy, we wanted to study Taiwan’s evolution and adoption of technologies related to the segment for India and for the world.”

Legendary cricket coach Mr. John Buchanan to launch new centres in India
Bengaluru, Sept 4th, 2024: Legendary Australia cricket coach, Mr. John Buchanan, is set to bring multi-sports training program ‘Ready Steady Go Kids’ to India in collaboration with Global venture for sports excellence in Bangalore.
The Australian training program teaches fundamentals of 13 different sports to children aged between 1.5-7 years. The program kickstarts in Bengaluru in September.
This globally recognized program will be introduced for the first time in Bengaluru.
Started in Australia, the Ready Steady Go Kids program aims to develop the required motor skills of students in a fun, non-competitive environment.
With the presence of the program in 13 countries, the program will expand to various cities in India including Mumbai, Noida, Chennai, Bangalore, Udaipur, Coimbatore, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Australia’s two-time World Cup Winning Cricket Coach and Director of RSGK India, Mr. John Buchanan, added, “I am extremely excited to bring this program to India and I would like to thank Mr. Jagdish R Chandra for the support and cooperation. The showroom Head, Rana Uppalapati, a staunch DATRI supporter, played a crucial role in encouraging Ganapathi throughout the donation process. Rana remarked, “Witnessing the profound impact of a blood stem cell donation firsthand has been an immense privilege. I urge everyone to contribute to DATRI’s noble cause through donor registration or fundraising.”
The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 300 medical students from GIMSR, many of whom registered as potential blood stem cell donors. This active involvement embodies the spirit of compassion and service that defines GITAM’s educational and ethical values, emphasising the institution’s commitment to societal well-being.

ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಯೊಳಗಿನ ಉಪ ಜಾತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬದ್ಧವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಇದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ಗೊಳಿಸಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ದಿನಾಂಕ 01.08.2024 ರಂದು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕಳೆದ 30 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರೊ.ಬಿ.ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪನವರು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದಲಿತ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಜಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಇದು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಗಳು ನೀಡಿದ್ದವು. ಈಗ ಸಿಜೆಐ ಡಿ.ವೈ.ಚಂದ್ರಚೂಡ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಏಳು ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳ ಸಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಪೀಠವು ಈ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಗೊಂದಲವನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಿದೆ. ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಿಕೆಯು ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿರುವ ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ವಾಸ್ತವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಮಾನತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಬದಲಿಗೆ ವಾಸ್ತವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಮಾನತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಯ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳು ಸಮರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಗೋಚರವಾದ ಏಕರೂಪವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಈ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಒಳಗೆ ಇರುವ ಕೆಲವು ಉಪ ಜಾತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಇಂತಹ ಉಪಜಾತಿಗಳು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆ. ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿರುವಿಕೆಯ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಿದರೆ ಈ ತನಕ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಲಾಭ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ದೊರೆಯಬಹುದು.
ಪಂಜಾಬ್, ಹರಿಯಾಣ, ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಂತಹ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಲು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದವು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗವೇ ತಡೆಯೊಡ್ಡಿತ್ತು. ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು ಬಹಳ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ಕೆಲಸ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಯುತವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಿಕೆಯು ಯಾರದೋ ಇಷ್ಟಾನಿಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸದೆ, ಗಣನೀಯವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮಾಣೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ದತ್ತಾಂಶಗಳ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವಾಗಬೇಕು.
ಇದು ಬಹುದೊಡ್ಡ ಸವಾಲಿನ ಕೆಲಸ. ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೂರಾರು ಉಪಜಾತಿಗಳಿವೆ. ಒಪ್ಪಿತವಾದ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧಾನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತುಲನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಈ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿರುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಬೇಕು.ಈ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳು ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾತಿನಿಧ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರಬಾರದು.ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನವನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯವು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಇದ್ದ ಗೊಂದಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಈಗ ತೆರೆ ಎಳೆದಿದೆ. ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶ ಬಂದು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಕಳೆದಿದ್ದರೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸದರಿ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸದೆ ನಿದ್ದೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ನಿದ್ದೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಬಡಿದೆಬ್ಬಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಬಿ.ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪನವರು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದಲಿತ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತೀರ್ಪು ಅನ್ವಯ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಯೊಳಗಿನ ಉಪಜಾತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಕೆಳಕಂಡ ಹಕ್ಕೊತ್ತಾಯಗಳು ಈಡೇರಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 12, 2024ರ ಗುರುವಾರ, ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 11-00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ “ಬೃಹತ್ ತಮಟೆ ಚಳುವಳಿ” ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪರ ಇರುವ ದಲಿತ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ಪ್ರಗತಿಪರ ಚಿಂತಕರು, ಬುದ್ದಿಜೀವಿಗಳು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ದಸಂಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ
ಬಂದು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಮಿತಿ ಕೋರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಹಕ್ಕೊತ್ತಾಯಗಳು
1) ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಯೊಳಗಿನ ಉಪಜಾತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬದ್ದವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 01-2024 ರಂದು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನೀಡಿರುವ ತೀರ್ಪು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಈ ತೀರ್ಪುನ್ನು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ಗೊಳಿಸಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು.
2) ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದಲಿತ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಪ್ರೊ.ಬಿ.ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪನವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವಾದ ಜೂನ್ 09 ನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೊ.ಬಿ.ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪ ನವರಿಗೆ “ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರತ್ನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.
3) ಬಾಕಿ ಉಳಿದಿರುವ “ಬ್ಯಾಕ್ ಲಾಗ್” ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಜಾರಿಯಾಗುವವರೆಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಸ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆ ಹಿಡಿಯಬೇಕು.
4) ಬಗರ್ ಹುಕುಂ ಸಾಗುವಳಿ ಯನ್ನು ಸಕ್ರಮಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಹಕ್ಕು ಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.
5) ಸಮಾಜ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವಸತಿ ನಿಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲದಡಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನೌಕರರನ್ನು ಖಾಯಂಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೊ. ಬಿ.ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪನವರು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದಲಿತ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಸಮಿತಿ (ರಿ) ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಮುಖಂಡರುಗಳು ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
