BENGALURU, 16th October 2024:Health and wellness knowledge enterprise Happiest Health unveiled its ‘Health Champion’ initiative today, setting the stage for future events that’ll identify and honour people who have battled and overcome adverse health conditions. The initiative aims to reach out to everyone in the country who has either beaten the odds to overcome a health challenge or is a caregiver to such a person, recognising them as torchbearers and motivating them. Paralympic Gold medallist Nitesh Kumar was honoured as the Health Champion of the Year 2024 at the curtain-raiser event. The event was unveiled and inaugurated by him and the Chairman of Happiest Health, Ashok Soota, in the presence senior management and members of the media.

Ashok Soota, chairman of Happiest Health, said, “The rationale behind Happiest Health is that everyone has a right to live a life of dignity and health. And life is full of hurdles, some small, others monumental. ‘Health Champion’ is not just about personal victories but victories that inspire and uplift entire communities. This is not just an initiative—it is a movement, a revolution to change the way health challenges are perceived.”

Speaking on the jury for the first Health Champion of the Year Awards, he said: “For 2025, our health champion of the year will be selected by an esteemed jury led by the renowned Dr Devi Shetty. Doctor Shetty’s contributions to healthcare are unparalleled, always working to help people who are underprivileged or who have special problems. His involvement will ensure that the 2025 Health Champion is chosen with the highest degree of expertise and compassion.”

Mr Anindya Chowdhury, CEO of Happiest Health – Knowledge and Diagnostics, said, “The ‘Health Champion’ initiative marks a significant milestone in Happiest Health’s journey as we seek to spread our objective further and open up spaces for more people to express themselves. We are looking at collaborating with interested partners in the days ahead while we do so.”

Nitesh Kumar added, “While winning the Paralympic gold medal is a big achievement, being inspiring is greatly significant. If my journey can somehow kindle hope for someone overcoming their struggle to do better in life, it would be very fulfilling to me. My message to everyone is to be active physically, whether cycling, running, or walking. Play any sports for recreation and take good care of your health—eat healthy, sleep well, and keep screen time to a minimum.”

The initiative will feature two awards—Health Champion of the Quarter and Health Champion of the Year, with the first Health Champion of the Year Awards taking place next year in September. A selection panel will select winners from quarterly submissions based on the nominees’ stories’ ability to inspire and motivate others. Meanwhile, the jury deciding the Health Champion of the Year for 2025 will validate submissions based on predefined criteria aligned with the event’s objectives. Quarterly ‘Health Champions’ will be automatically eligible for the annual award.

Quarterly winners will receive a certificate of recognition, a monetary prize, a wellness package, and a feature article in the Happiest Health magazine, among other prizes. Annual ‘Health Champions’ will additionally receive speaking opportunities and media coverage.

Happiest Health is dedicated to giving a voice to the unsung heroes whose stories often go unnoticed. Happiest Health allows individuals to share their experiences of overcoming adversity and inspire others. ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹಲವಾರು ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ, ಸಹಕಾರ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತನಾದ ನನಗೆ ಆಡಳಿತ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ದಾರ್ಶನಿಕರ ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ದಾಸ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾನಪದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಆಡಳಿತ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಭಾವಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದು ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಆದರ್ಶ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕಳೆದ 28 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಸವ ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶರಣರ ಆದರ್ಶ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಜದ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಮುಖಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಧಕರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಬಸವಶ್ರೀ ಮತ್ತು ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಬರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ರಕಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಬಹು ಕಾಲದ ಆಶಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ದಿಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಾ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿಯ ನಂತರ ನಾನು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ. ಸರ್ವಮಂಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ಒಂದು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸೇವಾ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಶಯ 2015ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಾರಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಆಡಳಿತ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಒಂದು ನಾಣ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಮುಖಗಳು ಎಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಲವಾರು ಸೃಜನಶೀಲ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಹಂಬಲ ನಮ್ಮದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಪರವಾದ ಉತ್ತಮ ಧೈಯೋದ್ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯು

Kannappa (SMK) Automobiles Private Limited, a pioneer in bus body manufacturing recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at an event held at The Ritz Carlton, Bengaluru. This strategic partnership is aimed at enhancing the mobility experience by combining SMK’s cutting-edge bus body manufacturing capabilities with FlixBus’s technology-driven platform for passenger transport. Games24x7 launches TechXpedite, the second edition of its accelerator program to strengthen India’s startup ecosystem

Bengaluru, October 15, 2024: Games24x7, India’s most user-centric, scientific, and innovative online gaming company, announced the launch of the second edition of its accelerator program, TechXpedite, aimed at catalyzing innovation in India’s startup ecosystem. With AWS as its cloud partner, this 60-day accelerator program is designed to empower startups in three key areas of gaming, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and impact-driven inclusive technology, through product development, services and research.

A cohort of 15-20 ready to accelerate startups selected from the applications will be part of a structured mentorship program where they will interact with industry experts, VCs and technology leaders in tailored sessions designed specifically to address challenges faced by startups looking to scale their business and operations. Participants will receive credits of around US$500,000 from over 30 credit partners.



The accelerator program is open to startups working on gaming, AI, and inclusive technology. With a focus on scalable innovation, TechXpedite aims to empower startups to create working proofs of concept (PoCs), use-case applications, and market-ready solutions. The program will culminate in a pitch event in February 2025, where selected startups will present their solutions to a panel of investors, industry experts, and domain leaders.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭಾಷಾವಾರು ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯವಾಗಿ 68 ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಕಳೆದಿವೆ. ಭಾಷಾವಾರು ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯ ವಿಂಗಡನೆಯಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದರ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳು ಈಡೇರಿವೆಯೇ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಈಡೇರಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನಾಳಿದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ, ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಲು ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ತೋರದೆ ಇರುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾಡನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದವರು ನಾವು, ಕೋಟೆ ಕೊತ್ತಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದವರು ನಾವು. ಗುಡಿ, ಗೋಪುರ, ಮಂದಿರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದವರು ನಾವು. ಕೆರೆ, ಕುಂಟೆ, ಗುಂಡು ತೋಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದವರು ನಾವು, ನೆಲ-ಜಲ-ಭಾಷೆ – ಗಡಿ ಉಳಿಸಲು ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಬೂಟು ಲಾಠಿ ಏಟು ತಿಂದು ಸೆರೆವಾಸ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದವರು ನಾವು. ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು, ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವವರು ನಾವು, ಹಸಿವೆಂದು ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನ ಹಾಕಿ, ಆಸರೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ನಾವು. ಇಂತಹ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನೂ ಧನ್ಯನು. ಆದರೆ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಪ್ರೇಮ, ತ್ಯಾಗ, ಸ್ನೇಹ, ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆಯ ವಿಶಾಲ ಹೃದಯವಂತಿಕೆಯ ಭಾವನೆಗೊಳಗೊಂಡ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಶೋಚನೀಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ವಲಸಿಗರ ಅಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಹಿನ್ನಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪರಭಾಷಿಕರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮವರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಉದ್ಯೋಗ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ, ವಹಿವಾಟು ವಲಸಿಗರ ಹಿಡಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಲೇ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆಯುಂಟಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಬಂದಂತಹ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲಿ ಪೆಟ್ಟು ಬಿದ್ದಂತಲ್ಲವೇ ? ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕು.

ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕು. ಅದೇ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ಪರಕೀಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನ ಬದಿಗಿಟ್ಟು ಗುಲಾಮರಂತೆ ಬದುಕಬೇಕೆ ? ಯಾವುದೇ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಲಯದ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ಈ ನಾಡಿನ ರೈತರ ಭೂಮಿ, ನೀರು, ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅದೇ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಈ ನೆಲದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶೇಕಡಾವಾರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ

ನೀಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ ತೋರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸುತ್ತೋಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಹುರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು. ಐಟಿ, ಬಿಟಿ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು, ಶಾಪಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಲ್‌ ಗಳು, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು, ವಸತಿ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯಗಳು, ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಥಿಯೇಟ- ರ್‌ಗಳು, ಹೋಟೆಲ್‌ಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಣ್ಣಪುಟ್ಟ ವಲಯದ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದ ರೈಲ್ವೇ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಅಂಚೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ಗಳ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಸಜಹ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆಗಳು ಹೊರ ರಾಜ್ಯದವರ ಪಾಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೇನು ಉಳಿದಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಗಮನಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಗಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಾಡಿನ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಎದುರಾಗುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಖಾಸಗಿಯವರ ಬೆದ ರಿಕೆಗೆ ತಲೆಬಾಗದೇ ಈ ನಾಡಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಲೇಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಿ ಹೊರರಾಜ್ಯದವರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಂಪನಿ, ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯಾದರೂ ಸರಿಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸವಲತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದು ಪರವಾನಿಗೆ ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡುವ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಕೆ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ದೇವರವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾ ಜಾಥಾವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು – ಮೆಜೆಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಫ್ರೀಡಂಪಾರ್ಕ್ ವರೆಗೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
