25th June 2024: PepsiCo India, a leading global consumer packaged goods company today announced the launch of RevolutioNari – A Revolution for the Nari, aimed at empowering 1 million women nationwide, in partnership with a consortium of organizations spanning 1,000 days. The program is dedicated to building awareness that will enable women to take informed career decisions, provide upskilling opportunities to enhance employability, and unlock direct and indirect opportunities to improve livelihood prospects in unconventional roles like sales, manufacturing, and agriculture within the FMCG sector across levels. Built on PepsiCo India’s principals of building a ‘Partnership of Progress’ that emphasizes on a collaborative approach for the collective good of the community, this transformative program will bridge the gender inequality gap in the workforce across India.

RevolutioNari aligns with PepsiCo India’s pep+ (PepsiCo Positive) philosophy, directly integrating into its key pillars – Positive Agriculture and Positive Value Chain, that guide the company’s future endeavors to positively impact the environment and communities. Positive Agriculture is aimed at improving the livelihoods of people in the company’s agricultural supply chain and communities, with a focus on women empowerment. Recognizing the underrepresentation of women in India’s growing economy, PepsiCo India identified the missed potential a decade ago and has worked on building well-recognized programs to promote inclusivity at workplace. RevolutioNari is another step in the company’s commitment to bridging the gender gap in India’s workforce, thereby contributing to the economic development of the country.

In the first phase of RevolutioNari, PepsiCo India is targeting undergraduate women in multiple disciplines, including STEM and Agriculture, underprivileged women, and senior secondary school students across 100 cities in India. By joining forces with partner organizations and leading corporates, the company will leverage collective expertise and resources to amplify the impact of its RevolutioNari campaign. So far, PepsiCo India has onboarded ecosystem partner organizations – Nirmaan Organization and The Social Lab Foundation, and Internshala, the tech partners to enable community reach-out for the initiative.

As part of this project, the company is introducing several training programs, including technical skill-building and internships, specifically designed for women in the manufacturing and sales sectors. Building awareness and unlocking direct and indirect livelihood opportunities are integral components of the RevolutioNari campaign. Numerous awareness and frontline hiring initiatives like Learn Today Give Tomorrow (LTGT) program, Lateral Hiring programs for Managerial and frontline jobs and Internship Programs specially curated to enable young women   are being set in motion to achieve a gender-balanced workforce at PepsiCo India by 2026 across all levels. Moreover, a Tripartite MoU with the Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) & Directorate of Employment & Craftsmanship training (DECT) has been signed for upskilling women students from industrial training institutes in Assam to develop a pool of qualified women for front-line plant positions at PepsiCo India.

ಜೂ, 25; ದೇಶದ ಹಸಿರು ವಾಹನಗಳ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೂ. 28 ರಿಂದ 30 ರ ವರೆಗೆ ತುಮಕೂರು ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಸ್ತುಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 5ನೇ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯ ಹಸಿರು ವಾಹನಗಳ ಮೇಳ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಇಂಧನ ಉತ್ಪಾದಕರ ಸಂಘ, ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಇಂಧನ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ, ಅನೇಕ ನವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಇಂಧನ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು, ಜ್ಞಾನಾಧಾರಿತ ಪಾಲುದಾರರಾಗಿ 6ಡಬ್ಲ್ಯೂ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮೇಳ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇವಿ ಘಟಕಗಳು, ಬಿಡಿಭಾಗಗಳು, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಲಯವನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಗೆ ತರುವುದರಿಂದ ಎಲೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ, ವಿತರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುದಾರರಿಗೆ ಗ್ರೀನ್ ವೆಹಿಕಲ್ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸೂಕ್ತ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಜೂನ್ 28 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಭಾರೀ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ.ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮೇಳ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ.ಕೆ. ಸಾಕ್ರಟೀಸ್ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ವಾಹನ ವಿಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವ ಪ್ರವರ್ತಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೊರ ಹೊಮ್ಮಿದೆ. ಇವಿ ಕುರಿತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹೊಸ ನೀತಿಯು ಉದ್ಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು 50,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪಳೆಯುಳಿಕೆ ಇಂಧನಗಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೆಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಅರಿವು ಭಾರತ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಹಸಿರು ವಾಹನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತದ ಫೇಮ್ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ 2019 ರಿಂದ 3 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಗೆ 10,000 ಕೋಟಿಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿದೆ. ಫೇಮ್-।। ರಡಿ 7000 ಎಲೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ಬಗ್ಗಳು, 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಇ-ತ್ರಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳೂ, 55000 ಇ- ನಾಲ್ಕು ಚಕ್ರದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಕಾರುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 10 ಲಕ್ಷ ಇ-ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು 2030 ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು $180 ಶತಕೋಟಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು 158 ಗಿಗಾವ್ಯಾಟ್ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಬ್ಯಾಟರಿ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಯಿದೆ. ಎಲೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಮಾರಾಟವು 2020 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಲಕ್ಷದಷ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಬರುವ 2030 ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ 100 ದಶಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಗ್ರೀನ್ ವೆಹಿಕಲ್ ಎಕ್ಟೋವು ಮೇಡ್ ಇನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಕ್ ಇನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಸಿರು ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬ್ರಾಂಡ್ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಆಟೋಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಡೀಲರ್ಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನ ವರ್ಕ್ಯಾಪ್ ಮಾಲೀಕರು ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರ ಸಂಘ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸಹ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. 3 ದಿನಗಳ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 15 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿ ಮಂದಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದ್ದು, 100 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಕರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಟಗಾರರು 700 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿವಿಧ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರೀನ್ ವೆಹಿಕಲ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ ಪೋ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Shiv Nadar University Chennai Announces the Launch of ’Shiv Nadar School of Law’

Chennai, 24th June 2024 – Shiv Nadar University Chennai, an initiative by Shiv Nadar Foundation, unveils the Shiv Nadar School of Law. Starting in August 2024, the school will offer a five-year BA.LLB program.  Approved by the Bar Council of India, the law school features faculty trained at top universities worldwide and world-class infrastructure. In addition, twenty percent of the faculty will be active legal practitioners and the placement team will have industry experience. The intake of the inaugural batch is expected up to 60 students and applicants can register at https://apply.snuchennaiadmissions.com/application-form-for-school-of-law . Admission process: Candidates can apply for admission via CLAT and LSAT-India scores, or via grades of class 10 and Class 12. Shortlisted students will be called for an interview.

For Indian students: INR 3,95,000/-
NRI/OCI students: INR 5,95,000/-
For foreign students: INR 7,90,000/-
The school will also be offering a generous scholarship scheme to extend financial aid for up to one-third of their incoming batch of students in 2024, including some full tuition waivers.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಮ್ಮತಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು : ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಣಕರಿಸಲು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮತಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸಚಿವೆ  ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಳಕರ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವರು, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭಾಗ ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ, ಇನ್ನುಳಿದಂತೆ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೆ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ (LKG, UKG) ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಜ್ಞರ ಸಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲು ಸಿಎಂ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೆ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೌಷ್ಠಿಕ ಆಹಾರ ನೀಡುವುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲ್ದರ್ಜೆಗೇರಿಸಲು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಸಹಮತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಐ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಸಮವಸ್ತ್ರ, ಪುಸ್ತಕ, ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ನೀಡಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲೆ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಪತ್ರ (ಟಿಸಿ) ನೀಡಲು ಕ್ರಮವಹಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. 

ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲೆ ದೊರೆಯಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಕಳಕಳಿಯಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮಾಂಟೆಸರಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರಿಂದ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ‌ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಣಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್ ಎರಡೂ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುವ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಳಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಪೂರ್ವಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಆರಂಭಿಸುವ ಸಂಬಂಧ  ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರ ಪೈಕಿ ೯ ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಒಂದೂವರೆ ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ, ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಆಗದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಸಚಿವರು, ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲಸದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
