Vasundharotsava from the 15th to 22nd of November 2024. Bharatanatyam performances of artists and Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamys students from Mysore, United States and Australia

Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy is a pioneer in the field of Bharatanatyam, and has been a torchbearer of the arts since the past six decades. In honour of her 75th birthday, we have organised Vasundharotsava from the 15th to 22nd of November 2024. Bharatanatyam performances of artists and Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamys students from Mysore, United States and Australia will be taking place.

Sanmarga is set to take place on the 20th and 21 of November 2024, as a part of which, Margam presentation by disciples of Dr Vasudhara Dorsawamy and “Krishna Madhuryam”- a thematic dance drama is to be presented.

Press meet held at Press club of Bengaluru

Panel discussions are to be held on 23 November 2024. The first panel discussion highlights the contribution of the Wodeyar dynasty and Mysore artists to art and culture. The second panel discusses the contributions to the field by Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy and Vasundhara Baani style of dance. This is followed by Bharatanatyam performance by Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy.

Mysuru Kala Diwas is organised on 24th November 2024 as a grand culmination of the event, which focuses on and honours the contribution of the Wodeyar dynasty and the dancers of Mysore to the art field, and the deep everlasting impacts on the art created by Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy. Performances of around a five hundred invited artists and three generations of her students from across the globe will be taking place.

This event creates history at it is the first time Mysore is hosting a dance event of this scale. Anybody who is above 8 years of age and has had atleast 3 years of training in classical dance can register for this historic event.

ರೋಟರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ 3192 ರ “ಆಸರೆ” ಎಂಬ ವಿನೂತನ ಯೋಜನೆ

ರೋಟರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ 119 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು. ಈಗ ವಿನೂತನ ಆಸರೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು,ರೋಟರಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಮುದಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರೋಟರಿಯ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸೇವೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವಂತದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ .

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶಗಳು ಈ ಕೆಳಕಂಡಂತಿವೆ.

1. ತುರ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೇವೆ: ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೀಸಲಿಟ್ಟ ಫೋನ್ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ತುರ್ತು ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲು ವಿ-ಮಿಡೋ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾಲುದಾರಿಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

2. ರೋಟರಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಗಳು: ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೀಸಲಿಟ್ಟ ವಾಟ್ಸಾಪ್ ಗುಂಪಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ಬಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಾಧಿಸಬಹುದು.ರೋಟರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಬಹುದು.

ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ವಿನಂತಿಸಬಹುದು.

ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳು:

– ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗು ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೇರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ.

-ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಕಟ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ.

– ವಿ-ಮಿಡೋ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತುರ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಲಭ ಅವಕಾಶ.

ರೋಟರಿಯು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಅನುಕೂಲಕರ ವಾತಾವರಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ.

3.ಶಾಲಾ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಸರ್ವಿಕಲ್ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸೆರ್ ಚುಚ್ಚು ಮದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸೆರ್

ಆಸರೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ರೋಟರಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಡುವೆ ಅಂತರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ, ಕಾಳಜಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪರ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ, ರೋಟರಿಯ ಇಮೇಜ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆಸರೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯು,ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ಬುಗಳ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಸದೃಢಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ, ರೋಟರಿಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತುರ್ತು ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಜನರ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಸಿಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆಸರೆ ಯೋಜನೆ:

1. ತುರ್ತು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ:

– ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್‌ಗಾಗಿನ 24/7 ತುರ್ತು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಅಥವಾ ನಿಯೋಜನೆಗೊಂಡ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

2. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ:

ಆಯಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ರೋಟರಿ ಕನೆಕ್ಸ್ ವಾಟ್ಸಾಪ್  ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸುವುದು

3. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತುರ್ತು ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ:

– ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರೋಟರಿ ತುರ್ತು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು.

– ತುರ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಕರೆಮಾಡುವಯು ವಿ-ಮಿಡೋ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

4. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳು:

ವಿ ಮಿಡೋ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತವೆ.

ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ನಿರಾತಂಕವಾಗಿರುವುದು.

“ಪಿಜಿ ಮಾಲೀಕರ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಸಮಾವೇಶ 2024″ ವನ್ನು ಪಿಜಿ ಮಾಲೀಕರ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ದಿಂದ ದಿನಾಂಕ 16.10.24 ಬುಧವಾರ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 10.30 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ವಿಜಯನಗರದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಂಟಪದಲಿ( ಹೊಸಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ) ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ನಗರದ ಪಿಜಿ ಮಾಲೀಕರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳ ಪಾಲನೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿಯ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುರಳ್ಳರ್ ವಿಕಾಸ್ ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಪಿಜಿಗಳ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿ ಅನುಸರಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತರಾಗಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎಸ್ ಕೆ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಕಾನೂನು ಬದ್ಧ ವಾಗಿ ಪಿಜಿಗಳು ನಡೆಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಕೊಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿಯ ಮಾಜಿ ಮಹಾಪೌರರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಗಂಗಾಂಬಿಕಾ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ್ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದು,

ಹಾಗೂ ಎರಡುವರೆ ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಗರದ ಪಿಜಿ ಮಾಲೀಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪಿಜಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಇದರ ಸದುಪಯೋಗ ಪಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಜಿ ಮಾಲೀಕರ ಕ್ಷಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟವು ಪಿಜಿ ಮಾಲೀಕರ ಸಾಧಕ ಬಾಧಕಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಗರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಪಿಜಿಗಳಿದ್ದು,ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಜನರು ಪಿಜಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ದೂರದ ಊರುಗಳಿಂದ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಓದು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಲಸ ಹರಸಿ ಬಂದಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಪಿಜಿಗಳು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿವೆ.ಹಾಗೆ ಮುಂಬರುವ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿ ನಿಯಮದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವಂತಹ ಪಿಜಿಗಳ ಉದ್ಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಪಿಜಿ ಒಂದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನ ಪಿಜಿ ನಡೆಸುವವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸೇವೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಈ ಪಿಜಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಕೆಲಮಾಲೀಕರು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ತುರುವೇಕೆರೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ದಬ್ಬೇಘಟ್ಟ ಹೋಬಳಿ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಸರ್ವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ  ಎಲ್.ಮಂಜಯ್ಯಗೌಡರನ್ನು  ಹೂ ಗುಚ್ಛನೀಡಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ದಬ್ಬೇಘಟ್ಟ ಹೋಬಳಿ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ  ಕೆ.ಟಿ.ಸಂಪತ್ತು, ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಗಣ್ಯರ ಇದ್ದರು.

ತುರುವೇಕೆರೆ: ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ದಬ್ಬೇಘಟ್ಟ ಹೋಬಳಿ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ನಡೆಸಲು ಅ.26ರಂದು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿದೇವರಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಎಲ್.ಮಂಜಯ್ಯಗೌಡರಿಗೆ  ಹೂಗುಚ್ಛ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ  ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತೆಂದು ದಬ್ಬೇಘಟ್ಟ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಹೋಬಳಿ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ  ಕೆ.ಟಿ.ಸಂಪತ್ತು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.



ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಸಾಪ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ದಬ್ಬೇಘಟ್ಟ ಹೋಬಳಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹೋಬಳಿಯ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿವಾರು ಸಭೆ ಸೇರಿ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಿ  ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಸರ್ವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.



ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಎಲ್.ಮಂಜಯ್ಯಗೌಡರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷಾ ಬೋಧಕರ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ನಿವೃತ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರು, ಭಾಷೆ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಕಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.



ದಬ್ಬೇಘಟ್ಟ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾಲಭೈರವೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯದ  ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶನಿವಾರ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 8ಕ್ಕೆ  ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಅಂದೇ ಸಂಜೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಖಾತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಚಿವ ವಿ.ಸೋಮಣ್ಣ ಸುಮ್ನೆ ಸ್ಮರಣ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶಾಸಕ ಎಂ.ಟಿ.ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪನವರು ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಎಸ್.ಜಿ.ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗಾಂಧೀ ಸೇವಾ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಬಿ.ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಸಮಾರೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೃಷಿ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕವಿ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಲಾವಿದ ಮಿಮಿಕ್ರಿ ಗೋಪಿ ತಂಡದಿಂದ ಮನರಂಜನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಿರಲಿದೆ.

Indian Stroke Association Launches The Bangalore Chapter Of ‘Mission Brain Attack’ To Empower Healthcare Professionals In Stroke Management

Bangalore, 13th Oct 2024: The Indian Stroke Association (ISA) has launched MISSION BRAIN ATTACK, an initiative aimed at enhancing the awareness, education, and training of healthcare professionals in stroke prevention, immediate treatment, and rehabilitation. The campaign “Each One Teach One” addresses the alarming rise in stroke cases across India, emphasizing the urgent need for specialized training and resources to improve stroke care nationwide.

Strokes are one of the leading causes of death and disability in India, affecting approximately 1.8 million people annually. As the second most common cause of mortality and the third leading cause of disability, strokes have had a significant impact on the country’s healthcare system. Despite this, awareness about stroke symptoms and timely intervention remains low. MISSION BRAIN ATTACK seeks to close this gap by offering healthcare providers critical training on recognizing stroke symptoms early and implementing effective care protocols to improve patient outcomes.

The golden hour for stroke treatment is 4 hours and 30 minutes. Prompt medical treatment within this period can reverse the effect of stroke. The MISSION BRAIN ATTACK initiative is designed to equip physicians and medical practitioners with critical information and practical training on recognizing stroke symptoms early, implementing effective treatment protocols, and delivering comprehensive care for patients experiencing strokes. The program will include workshops, webinars, real-time case studies, and access to cutting-edge online resources. These elements will help ensure that healthcare providers across India are familiar with the latest best practices in stroke management.

“The incidence of stroke is rising because of lifestyle factors and poorly identified and poorly controlled risk factors. Bangalore alone records approximately 40 new stroke cases every day. By identifying risk factors like hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, sleep apnea (snoring) and optimally treating them, quitting smoking and adopting a heathy lifestyle and diet rich in anti-oxidants and low on salt, sugar and fats, 80% of strokes can be prevented.” said Dr Amit Kulkarni, Senior Consultant & Lead- Neurology & Stroke, EC Member, Indian Stroke Association.

“1 in 4 of us develop strokes in our lifetime. Emergency management of stroke which includes intravenous clotbuster injection given as early as possible within 4.5 hours and mechanical removal of clot when there is a large artery blockage which can be done within 6-7 hours in most cases and upto 24 hours in selected patients can save lives and significantly improve long term outcome and make them independent in activities of daily living.”said Dr Vikram Huded, Senior Consultant & Head, Neurology & Neurointervention, Indian Stroke Association.
