ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಹಲವಾರು ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರುವ, ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ನೈಜ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದ ‘ರುದ್ರಿ’ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನಾಳೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನೇರವಾಗಿ ‘ನಮ್ಮ ಫ್ಲಿಕ್ಸ್ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಓಟಿಟಿ ಆಪ್’ (NAMMAFLIX) ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ಗೊಂಬೆಗಳ ಲವ್ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ಪಾವನಾ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಬಡಿಗೇರ ದೇವೇಂದ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಠಾಗೋರ್ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಚಿತ್ರೋತ್ಸವ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ದೇಶ ವಿದೇಶಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ರುದ್ರಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಕಂಡಿದೆ. ಹಲವಾರು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ರುದ್ರಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ 90ರ ದಶಕದ ಕಥೆ. ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಿನ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತಹ ಧೈರ್ಯವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂತಹ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಶೋಷಣೆಯ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ರುದ್ರಿ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೇಳಲು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು.
ಸಿ.ಆರ್. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಧೂ ಕೋಕಿಲಾ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅನನ್ಯ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ಹಾಡಿಗೆ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸುಧಾ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ನುರಿತ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ತಂಡವೇ ತಾರಾಗಣದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

The Aam Aadmi Party held a press conference recently to 140 crores scam of Kidwai Cancer Hospital and released supporting documents of 330 pages. The party had alleged that the hospital had conducted illegal COVID-19 tests and engaged in fraudulent transactions worth hundred crores of rupees.
In a statement, AAP state organizing secretary B.T. Naganna said that the party’s legal team had filed a complaint with ICMR. ” The complaint has been filed with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) to register a criminal case against former KarnatakaHealth Minister Dr. Sudhakar, Kidwai Memorial Trust Hospital (KMTH) former director Dr. C. Ramachandra, and BMHS owner S.P. Rakshit. The complaint urged the immediate dismissal of the MOU between KMTH and BMHS. It has also demanded that criminal cases be filed against all those involved in the scam and that the illegal funds be recovered by confiscating their properties,” Naganna said.
AAP state youth wing president and party legal team lawyer Lohith J. Hanumapur said party would soon expose the system under which private laboratories are being given the contract for Disease Diagnosis Section in all government health and medical department hospitals in the state. He urged the government to take immediate action stop the ceaseless looting of taxpayers money by these private laboratories.

Deepavali, celebrated with great enthusiasm, involves two key elements: the diya (lamp) and fireworks. While the beauty of the diya symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, fireworks have long been a cherished part of the celebration. However, the joy of fireworks should be accompanied by a strong commitment to eye safety.
Deepavali festivities often result in a significant number of eye injuries caused by fireworks. The eyes are the second most common area of the body to be affected, following the hands and fingers. The common injuries are attributed to sparklers, bombs, and ‘Chakra’ crackers.
Dr. Bindiya Hapani, Head Clinical Services at Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital says “It is not only those who handle fireworks who are at risk but also bystanders, with over 50% of them facing potential eye injuries. Street by-passers exposed to ignited firecrackers in the streets are also vulnerable. Injuries range from mild irritation and corneal abrasions to more severe complications like corneal damage and open globe injuries that can lead to potential blindness. Chemical injuries result from the chemicals in the gunpowder mixed in the fireworks. Smoke can cause eye irritation, and fumes can lead to throat infections. Sparklers are particularly dangerous, burning at temperatures hot enough to melt gold, causing severe burns and injuries.
Precautions must be taken to avoid these injuries. Most fireworks contain gunpowder, which makes their explosions unpredictable, even when handled carefully or under supervision. The surge in nitrous oxide and sulfur dioxide levels during Diwali contributes to peak pollution levels. Noise pollution also exceeds permitted levels, and small particles from firecrackers can cause mechanical damage to tissues.
Contact lens wearers should exercise extra caution when bursting crackers, as prolonged exposure to heat can lead to irritation. The extent of eye damage from a cracker depends on its velocity, chemical reactions, and thermal burns says Dr Hapani
Patients with closed eye injuries can be treated on an outpatient basis, while open eye injuries and other severe cases will require admission for further management and observation.
Do’s and Don’ts:
Do not rub or scratch your eyes. Wash your eyes and face thoroughly. If you feel irritation or have a foreign body in your eye, flush your eyes with water. If a particle is stuck or large, do not try to remove it. Seek immediate medical attention. In case of chemical exposure to the eyes, irrigate them with water for 30 minutes and consult an eye doctor.

Do not rub the affected eye. Do not apply pressure to the affected eye. Avoid using over-the-counter medicines. Do not allow children to play with fireworks, even with supervision. Be Cautious:

Maintain a safe distance while lighting or watching fireworks. Remove contact lenses before bursting crackers and use glasses instead.
