ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬಂಜಾರಾ ಲಂಬಾಣಿ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ಸುಮಾರು 40 ರಿಂದ 50 ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಈ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದವರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಸಾಲಿನ ಸಾರ್ವತ್ರಿಕ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಬಹುಮತದಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಚನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಈ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯು ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮುಂದುವರೆದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್‌ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಕೆ. ರಾಠೋಡ್’ ಇವರು 2023 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸುಮಾರು 120 ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಶೇ. 80% ರಷ್ಟು ಬಂಜಾರ ಲಂಬಾಣಿ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಮತಗಳು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಚಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಗೆಲುವಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಕಾರಣೀಭೂತರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಸದರಿಯವರು ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಿರತವಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಂಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಜಾರ ಲಂಬಾಣಿ ಜನಾಂಗದವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಒದಗಿಸದೆ ಇರುವುದ ಬಂಜಾರ ಲಂಬಾಣಿ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಬೇಸರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

Karnataka gears up for Isha Gramotsava

●      To be conducted across southern states and in 1300 villages in 13 districts of Karnataka, Isha Gramotsava aims to rejuvenate the spirit of rural India.

●      Not open for professionals, Isha Gramotsava encourages rural people across communities, who otherwise don’t get a chance to play sports everyday, to come together, participate and enjoy the zest of rural life.

With an aim to rejuvenate the spirit of rural India and foster a sense of community, tradition, and healthy competition, Isha Outreach, the social development arm of Isha Foundation, will organise Isha Gramotsava, from August till September 23rd. Isha Gramtosava is India’s biggest sporting event and will be conducted across the southern states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Pondicherry. The grand finale will be played in front of 112-feet Adiyogi at Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore.

In Karnataka, the cluster level matches begin from August 12th with teams advancing further to play Division level match on September 3rd. More than 3200 villages in 13 districts of Karnataka including Chikkaballapur, Bengaluru rural, Kolar, Tumkur, Shivamogga and others are gearing up to host the event. Registration to participate in the event is free.

Tournament Schedule:

Cluster level matches – On August 12 & 13th in Chikkaballapura, Vijayapura, Kolara, Vijayanagara, Shivamogga, Mysuru, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi

On August 19th & 20th in Bengaluru Rural, Tumakuru, Kodagu, Chamarajanagara

On August 26th & 27th in Chikkamagaluru.

 

Division level matches – On September 3rd in Chikkaballapura and Mysuru

 

Grand Finale on September 23rd in Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore.

 

Launched in 2004 by Sadhguru, Founder- Isha Foundation, this year’s edition of Gramtosava will feature Volleyball for Men, Throwball for Women, and rural games with Tamil Nadu additionally featuring Kabaddi for Men & Women. More than 65,000 players are expected to participate in Gramotsava, with the total prize money crossing Rs 56 lakh this time. The winners in Volleyball will receive 5 lakh rupees while teams winning Kabbadi, and Throwball will receive Rs 2 lakh each.

The unique aspect of Isha Gramotsava is that all players in the team are from the same village. This is not a tournament for professional players but is a platform which encourages everyone to play. From encouraging everyone to take up some form of a game to bringing back the fun of rural games and reviving dying traditional art forms, the whole initiative is carefully crafted so that the entire village comes together as a celebration and brings back the zest of rural life.

 

The past editions of Isha Gramotsava have witnessed 8,412 teams, comprising 1,00,167 players participating in Isha Gramotsava. Isha Outreach has been recognized as National Sports Promotion Organization ( NSPO ) by the Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs. In the year 2018, Isha Outreach received the “Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar” award from the Hon’ble President of India for Sports Development.

Kejriwal’s motive is not to serve the public, but to hide the corruption of the multi-crore bungalow: Shah

On the initiative of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023 was passed in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.

Amit Shah once again demonstrated that where there is ‘Shah’, there is a way, showcasing his unbeatable logic.
Initiating the debate in the Lok Sabha, Amit Shah said, ‘The Legislative Assembly was started in Delhi in 1993.
Since then, there has been a BJP government in Delhi and Congress at the Center and sometimes a Congress government in Delhi and a BJP government at the Centre. Till date both the parties have ruled on this issue without any confrontation.

But when Kejriwal’s government was formed in the year 2015, the problem started. The motive of AAP is not to serve the public, but to hide the corruption of the Delhi government by opposing this bill.

The opposition of the rest of the opposition parties is also just to save the alliance. No matter how many alliances the opposition forms, it is certain that Modi ji will become the Prime Minister in 2024.

The opposition parties began opposing the Delhi Government (Amendment) Bill, 2023, as it was introduced in the Lok Sabha by senior BJP leader Amit Shah.

While the passage of this bill is unlikely to affect any party except the AAP, the opposition’s protest was solely aimed at safeguarding the Alliance.

Given the already weak foundation of the Grand Alliance, it is certain that Kejriwal will exit the alliance promptly once the Bill is passed.

Shah is firmly of the belief that the leaders in the house who accused him of acting against the Supreme Court’s decision may not have read the court’s complete judgment. The court explicitly stated that under Article 239A, the Parliament holds full authority to enact laws pertaining to Delhi on any matter.

In his distinctive manner, Amit Shah narrated the history of Delhi’s formation, highlighting that in 1911, the British created Mehrauli and Delhi tehsils independently from Punjab. Subsequently, the Siddaramaiah Committee called for Delhi to be granted full statehood, which faced opposition from Pandit Nehru, Sardar Patel, Rajendra Prasad, and Ambedkar.

Shah’s emphatic support for the Delhi Services Bill throughout the debate leaves no doubt that the dispute revolves not only around the transfer and posting rights of officers but also centers on the handling of the bungalow and taking charge of vigilance. It is an attempt to conceal expenses and evade responsibility in the liquor scam.
