ಶ್ರೀ 1008 ವಿಧ್ಯಾ ಕಣ್ವ ವಿರಾಜತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದಂಗಳವರು ಪೀಠಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಥಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

1) ಶ್ರೀ ಶುಕ್ಲಯಜುಃಶಾಖಾಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ (ರಿ.) ಶ್ರೀ ಯಾಜ್ಞ ವಲ್ಕ್ಯಾಶ್ರಮ ಚಾಮರಾಜಪೇಟೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ 1910ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಗುರುಹಿರಿಯರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಶಾಖೆಯ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಶಾಖೆಯ ಬಾಂಧವರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಜನೆಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲು ಶಾಖಾ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಬಹುಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಶುಕ್ಲಯಜುರ್ವೇದ ವೇದ ಪಾಠಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಬಿಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸನಾತನ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಖೆಯ ಮಾತೃ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಎಂದೇ ಹಿಂದೂಧರ್ಮದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಖೆಯ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ 2012ರಲ್ಲಿ ಘನತೆವೆತ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಹಂಸರಾಜ ಭಾರಧ್ವಾಜರನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿ ಶತಮಾನೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

2) ಶಾಲಿವಾಹನ ಶಕೆ, 1718 ನಳನಾಮ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ಮಾಘ ಶುದ್ಧ ಪಂಚಮಿಯಂದು 02-02-1797 ರಂದು ವಿಧ್ಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಮಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸನ್ಯಾಸ ದೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ದೈವಾಂಶಸಂಭೂತರಾದ ಸುರಪುರದ ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾಧವತೀರ್ಥರೆಂದು ನಾಮಕರಣಮಾಡಿ ಶುಕ್ಲಯಜುರ್ವೇದಿಯ ಕಾಣ್ವಶಾಖಿಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಣ್ವಮಠದ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ವೀರಘಟ್ಟ (ಹುಣಸಿಹೊಳೆ) ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು. ಮೊದಲ ಪೀಠಾಧೀಶ್ವರರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾಧವತೀರ್ಥರ 12 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ತಪಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀಮಠವು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಂಡು ಈವರೆಗೂ 14 ಶ್ರೀ ಪಾದಂಗಳವರಿ೦ದ ಮಠವು ಅನುಚಾನಿತವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಹೊಂದುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ 1008 ವಿಧ್ಯಾ ಕಣ್ವ ವಿರಾಜತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದಂಗಳವರು ಪೀಠಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಶುಕ್ಲಯಜುರ್ವೇದ ಕಾಣ್ವ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳು,

1) ಕರ್ನಾಟಕರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇರುವ ಶುಕ್ಲಯಜುರ್ವೇದದ ಶಾಖಾ ಬಾಂಧವರನ್ನು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು.

2) ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಯಾಜ್ಞವಲ್ಕರು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವುದು.

3) ಗುರು ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ವೇದಾಧ್ಯಯನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಸನಾತನಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆರೂಪಿಸುವುದು.

ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿ೦ದುಳಿದ 4) ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿ೦ದ ಸಿಗುವ ಶಾಖಾ ಬಾಂಧವರಿಗೆ ಸವಲತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ೦ಪರ್ಕಕೊಂಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದು.

5) ನಗರ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಯುವಕ-ಯುವತಿಯರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಜನೆಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ೦ಘದಿಂದ ನೆರವು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು.

6) ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಜನೆಗಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಹಾನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ/ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಿಗೆ ವಸತಿ ನಿಲಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು.

7) ಪ್ರತಿಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ೦ಘಟನೆ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು .ವಿ. ವೇಣುಗೋಪಾಲ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ರವರು -ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು & ಎಲ್. ಪುರುಷೋತ್ತಮ್ ರವರು – ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ವಾಸವಿ ಕಾಂಡಿಮೆಂಟ್ಸ್‌ನ ಪರಿಚಯ ಇದ್ದೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ರುಚಿಕಟ್ಟು, ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಜಾ ತಿಂಡಿ ತಿನಿಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರು ವಾಸಿಯಾದ ವಾಸವಿ ಕಾಂಡಿಮೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಕಳೆದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ವಿನೂತನವಾದ ಸಾಹಸ-ಪ್ರಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೋಘ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಕಂಡಿದೆ.

ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ ಕಳೆದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂದು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಜ್ಜನ್ ರಾವ್ ಸರ್ಕಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವಾಸವಿ ಕಾಂಡಿಮೆಂಟ್ಸ್‌ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರೇಕಾಯಿ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರೇಕಾಯಿಯಿಂದ ತಯಾರಾದ ಇಡ್ಲಿ, ದೋಸೆ, ಪಾಯಸ, ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿ, ನಿಪ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಸಿಹಿ, ಖಾರಾ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸುಮಾರು ನೂರು ಬಗೆಯ ತಿಂಡಿ, ತಿನಿಸುಗಳು, ರುಚಿಕಟ್ಟಾದ ಖಾದ್ಯಗಳು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬಹಗಳಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಈ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಅವರೇಕಾಯಿ ಮೇಳಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾತರಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಸವನಗುಡಿ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ 2023ರ ಜನವರಿ 5ರಿಂದ 10ರತನಕ ಈ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿ ಮೇಳ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10ರಿಂದ 10ರ ತನಕ ಅಂಗಡಿ ತೆರೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಂಜೆ 3ರಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿ 10ರ ತನಕ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಿಶೇಷ ಖಾದ್ಯಗಳಾದ ದೋಸೆ, ವಡೆ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳು ದೊರೆಯಲಿವೆ.

ಮಾಗಡಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರೈತರು ಬೆಳೆದ ಅವರೇಕಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ‘ವಾಸವಿ ಕಾಂಡಿಮೆಂಟ್ಸ್’ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಧ್ಯವರ್ತಿಗಳ ಪುವೇಶವಿಲ್ಲದೇ, ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳಗಾರರ ಮನೆಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೇ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರೇಕಾಯಿ ಖರೀದಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುವ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮೊತ್ತ ಕೈಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಅವರೇಕಾಯಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ರೈತಬಾಂಧವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರ. ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರೇಕಾಯಿ ಖರೀದಿಯೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗುತ್ತಲೇ

Quarrying industry is facing lot of problems in our State – FKGQSI

The Federation of Karnataka Granite Quarry and Stone Industry is a body constituted under the Societies Registration Act. The main object of the Federation is to act as a bridge between the Government and the lessees in easing out the policies on par with the neighboring states.

As you are aware, quarrying industry is facing lot of problems in our State. The ornamental stone industry is facing challenges from the neighboring states and other countries when it comes to marketing of the minerals. There is a requirement of certain amendments to the existing policy to compete with the other States and Countries.

In this regard, we have already represented and the State Government has formulated certain amendments to the existing KMMCR which is pending for the past couple of years. The main points to be considered while doing amendment to ease out the grant and marketing as follows:

1) In order to have a long term development. production, marketing etc., the tenure of the lease period requires to be extended on par with GCDR 1999. Similarly, the Building Stone Quarries also require to be extended to 30 years.

2) Of late, the Department is seeking for a sketch by incorporating GPS readings. At the time of the grant of the lease, the corner points are marked manually with the incorporation of the GPS system, variation in the sketch is being found out, resulting in allegations of illegal quarrying, encroachment, penalty, etc. Therefore, one time opportunity to be given to the existing lessees to correct the sketches in order to avoid the allegations of illegal quarrying.

3) Simplification of the Rules with regard to the quarrying activity being done in the Private Lands, wherein, the Pattadars are the owners of the minerals available in the Patta Lands. In order to confusions with the various status of the Patta Lands of different areas in the State of Karnataka, an uniform Rules for grant in Patta Lands is requested as One State One Policy.

4) At the time of original grant, the land has been identified on the land by chain and other manual methods. There was no mention of RL at that time. Presently, the Government is willing to conduct survey by using DGPS, Drone method to identify the quarrying area to find the quantity of excavation of the mineral. To this, they are utilizing the services of KSRSAC. The map is being drawn by using the RL mentioned in the topo sheet and the satellite images. The quantity is being arrived by the Government by using the latest RL to the already excavated areas, which is resulting in discrepancies in the quantity of excavation. This methodology has made legally excavated minor into an illegal excavator. Therefore, the present RLs are required to be used as the base line data for the future excavations. The earlier excavation should not be made accounted in this regard.

There are many other issues also in simplifying the grant, working of the quarry. Presently, the marketing of the minerals is a challenge as it requires to be compete with the neighboring States and the policies of other countries. Till 2010 our State was No. 1 in the production and marketing of the ornamental stone granite blocks. Of late, it has slipped to 5th position. The other neighboring States are emerging because of our policy. If the policies are properly framed, then we may get back to the 1st place.

In this regard, proper policies are required by way of suitable amendments to the existing Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules. This will enable easing out the grant, long term lease, curbing illegalities and upsurge in the economy to the State’s exchequer. The Federation urges for proper framing of the policies to create an industrial-friendly atmosphere in the State so that the State can blossom and attain highest place in this regard said B.Umashankar, president of above federation.

Magniflex India plays Santa to Children living in NGOs

– The mattress major distributes toys and other goodies to these little ones through the ‘Share the Magic This Christmas’

Bengaluru, 26th, December, 2022:  To capture and spread the magic of Christmas, this year Magniflex India organized a donation drive to celebrate Christmas with children at NGOs across the country. Magniflex India came up with a campaign ‘Share the Magic This Christmas’ where all its franchise stores hung out a red Christmas bag, encouraging people to donate toys for the underprivileged children. Each gift had a personalized message attached to it. And on December 23rd Mr. Anand Nichani, MD, Magniflex India, donated all these toys to the NGOs named Madilu Sevashram that shelters children.

Through the campaign, Magniflex India appealed to its customers, as well as the general public, through social media and banners across its franchise stores to donate goodies for children. The collected toys were distributed to NGOs in different cities, including Bangalore, Delhi and Ahmedabad on December 23rd to make it a memorable experience for children. Magniflex India collected more than 100 toys and shared the gifts with the NGOs named Shishu Gruh in Ahmedabad and Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust in Delhi that shelters above 100 children.

Mr. Anand Nichani asked each child to express their joy and share memories associated with the celebration after the gifts were distributed. To make their day more fun and joyful, they played a few Christmas-themed games, including Pictionary, and sang Christmas carols. The children unwrapped their Christmas presents and expressed gratitude to the Magniflex team as well as all those who contributed to the effort in helping bring smiles on their faces.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Anand Nichani, MD, Magniflex India, said, “Christmas is the festival of gifting. Every child deserves to experience the joy of receiving Christmas gifts. We hope to bring joy to every child and are dedicated to creating a more compassionate world. Magniflex is all about making people feel at ease. So, we’ve decided to be Santa for the kids this year. We want to thank everyone who took the time out from their daily schedule to donate and make these kids feel special this Christmas. It gave me a great sense of satisfaction on distributing the gifts to the children at the NGOs.”

Mrs. Maithili, a customer who contributed to the campaign by Magniflex India, said, “Every year we celebrate Christmas within the family circle. This year, we decided to celebrate the festival a little differently by sharing the joy of Christmas with others. I am thankful to Magniflex India for coming up with this initiative, because through them I was able to bring some joy to the underprivileged children.”
