214 entries from 185 Engineering Colleges registered for Preliminary round of BAJA SAEINDIA 2022
Pune, September 3, 2021: SAEINDIA, a professional Society of Automotive Engineers, today announced the commencement of the 15th edition of the much-awaited BAJA SAEINDIA series (Digital Event).
214 entries across the Engineering colleges in India were received for BAJA SAEINDIA 2022, out of which 138 teams are registered for conventional m-BAJA & 76 teams are registered for e-BAJA event. BAJA SAEINDIA tasks the students to conceptualize design, build, test & validate a single-seater four-wheeled All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) to take part in a series of events, being conducted in three phases this year, giving the teams an opportunity to participate virtually in PHASE-1 & 2 or physically in PHASE-3 or both.
Upon successful completion of the previous edition, BAJA SAEINDIA 2021- “Embracing Challenges”, BAJA SAEINDIA’2022 has begun in full swing. The pre-registration for the participating events started on June 16th, 2021. Considering the difficulties faced by the teams due to the current covid-19 outbreak, the registration deadline was extended from July 15th 2021 to August 15th, 2021.
Embracing the current Pandemic challenges, BAJA SAEINDIA 2022 edition will be held on a digital platform involving static as well as dynamic events, considering the health concerns of all stakeholders involved.
Intending to expand the spectrum of learning, the continuously evolving BAJA SAEINDIA Organising Committee has decided to introduce the participation of international teams all over the world till PHASE-2, for both mBAJA and eBAJA. Participating remotely will work hand in hand with the current safety rules to be followed with the idea of increasing the exposure of all the teams towards healthy completion and international bonding.
To promote clean energy-efficient solutions to the automotive future, the new eBAJA teams participating shall be provided financial support of INR 1 Lakh upon completing 5 laps in the endurance race which would be conducted in Phase 3 as per registration guidelines. This unique and eccentric step of BAJA SAEINDIA is towards a cleaner, efficient and brighter future and pushing to strive ahead and perform better than before, best than ever. To promote diversity amongst the teams, BAJA SAEINDIA has allowed the team who has reached the 25 members limit, to add 5 more girl team members without any additional amount in the registration fee to promote gender diversity.
The details for 1st and 2nd phase of BAJA SAEINDIA 2022 are as below: The first leg (Phase 1) i.e. Preliminary Round, scheduled in September 2021, will be focusing on the virtual presentation of the ATVs of the teams. The two-day event will include a virtual Inauguration, presentations from teams showcasing the Design Reports of their buggy, an Automotive/Rulebook quiz and evaluation.
Followed by this, the second leg i.e. Phase 2, will incorporate Virtual Dynamic Events with the help of Automotive Simulation Software combined with Digital Static Events for 2022 edition, similar to BAJA SAEINDIA 2021. The tentative schedule of this phase is December 2021. This will include the Virtual Static Events Evaluation such as Design, Cost, Manufacturing & Sales Presentation as well as the Dynamic Events such as Acceleration, Brake, Gradeability, Suspension & Traction, Manoeuvrability and All Terrain Performance held virtually through IPG CarMaker software.

The vision of BAJA SAEINDIA and our university is in sync and we joined hands in the year 2015. As the host institute of Virtual BAJA SAEINDIA from the last 6 years, we feel proud in supporting this program. BAJA SAEINDIA is improving the engineering skills of young graduates through its project-based learning approach. For this year also, we are hosting the Preliminary and Virtual round of BAJA SAINDIA 2022 at our Punjab campus.” During the event, SAEINDIA also signed MoU with Chitkara University, Cambridge Group of Institutions and IPG CarMaker to kick start the event.

September 2, 2021: India is one of the ten most disaster prone countries of the world on account of its unique geo-climatic and socio-economic conditions. As per India Disaster Report 2018*, about 58.6% of the region is prone to earthquakes of various intensities, over 12% of the land is exposed to floods and erosion, 8% to cyclones and 68% to droughts. Thus, managing and mitigating the impact of climate change, the associated risks and the multi-hazards is of significant importance and has garnered a lot of global attention in recent times. Adapting ourselves to the rapidly shifting global paradigms with respect to these areas requires interventions from both technological and governance standpoints. Hence, collaborations between academic institutions, and national agencies in expanding research, academics and capacity building with a focus on developing impact-based early warning become the need of the hour.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, ranked the 4th Best Overall University in India in the 2020 NIRF Ranking, and accredited with A++ grade from NAAC in its short history of 18 years, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ministry of Earth Sciences on Climate Change Risk Assessment Modeling and Multi-hazard Management. This MoU addresses this very need of developing theories and solutions for dynamic multi hazard based risk modeling, assessment, and early warning. This collaborative MoU is intended to unveil the interrelationships of multi hazards with extreme weather scenarios and long term climate change impacts with a specific focus on bringing together experts and students alike to leverage technology along with academic frameworks to solve the pressing challenges in these areas.
The MoU, on behalf of Amrita School for Sustainable Development, UNESCO Chair on Experiential Learning for Sustainable Innovation and Development, Amrita Centre for Wireless Networks and Application, was jointly signed by Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, DGM, IMD, PR of India with World Meteorological Organization (WMO) & Member of Executive Council (EC) WMOand Dr. Maneesha Vinodini Ramesh, Dean, School for Sustainable Development, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
Speaking about the partnership, Dr. M. Mohapatra said, “We are glad to have an MoU with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. I hope that collaboration will be helpful in furthering the research in the field especially in multi-hazard early warnings and improvement of weather and climate forecasts. It will also help in capacity building for both organizations.
Speaking about the partnership, Dr. P Venkat Rangan, Vice-Chancellor, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, said, “We are excited to enter into the MoU with India Meteorological Department and are greatly looking forward to the capacity building and degree-awarding programs that are being planned to be rolled out as a part of this collaboration. Elaborating further on the MoU and the benefits, Dr. Maneesha Vinodini Ramesh, said: “Through this partnership, Amrita and IMD will work towards developing a framework for optimized community based disaster resilience using emerging technologies and integration of interdisciplinary domains. We plan to work together to develop impact based early warning of landslides by heterogeneous data integration and analysis, and develop an ecosystem that will provide the opportunity to share weather forecasts, early warnings and alerts, and devise a crowdsourced mobile application for multi-hazard event management and early warning.
The collaborative thematic research includes six key areas namely: (a) Develop rainfall threshold models for multi-hazard scenarios like floods, drought, and landslides; (b) Implement systems for natural hazard monitoring, modeling, and mitigation for developing impact-based early warning systems for selected locations; (c) Study the impact of climate change and anthropogenic activities on agriculture, water availability and quality, an natural hazards; (d) Develop geospatial models for variability in groundwater access, water quality, and agriculture crop yield; (e) Analyze climate change adaptation and mitigation studies to develop a strategic framework for community resilience (f) Perform geospatial modeling of earth observations by applying state-of-the-art methodologies in the area of big data analysis, statistical downscaling and deep learning modeling.
The key scope of the collaboration includes training and capacity building and introduction of degree-awarding programs for qualified Ph.D. scholars of Amrita School of Sustainable Development, young scientists at IMD office, and faculty of IMD for a short-term course on climate change risk assessment and management. Other focus areas include jointly organizing national/international conferences or workshops, imparting training to graduating engineers and MTech scholars or IMD professionals for completing dissertation and research work leading to a thesis for the award of the Ph.D. degree, and admission of qualified IMD personnel to various PG/Ph.D. programs at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Bengaluru: The City is going to witness a brainstorming session on exploring the possibilities of finding opportunities for improving school education under the National Education Policy 2020. The two-day seminar is being hosted by Vidya Bharati in association with the CMR Group of Institutions. The state-level seminar – Implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in the State of Karnataka: Strategies and Opportunities for School Education – is going to be formally inaugurated by Primary & Secondary Education Minister B C Nagesh, at 10 am on September 6 at the CMR Institute of Technology, Marathalli. The keynote speaker would be Prof M K Sridhar, Member, NEP Draft Committee & Member, UGC. The seminar will conclude on September 7. While Karnataka has already been acknowledged as the pioneer state in India to get going with the implementation of the NEP, the CMR education group years ago created a conducive environment for effecting student-centric education as delineated in the NEP. The topics to be deliberated upon at the seminar include opportunities and challenges in the implementation of early childhood care and education; an integrated approach to social studies with Bharatiya perspectives; Trends, Issues and Challenges in Language Education; and redesigning PUC to become an integral part of 4 year secondary education. The outcome of the seminar, in the form of a report, will be shared with the Karnataka Education Department as a handbook on NEP 2020.

ಶ್ರೀ ಶಾರದಾದೇವಿ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಸಂಘಟಿತ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲನೆ , ಕ್ಷಯರೋಗ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ , ಹೆಚ್.ಐ.ವಿ. / ಏಡ್ಸ್ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ , ಅಂಧತ್ವ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಕಳೆದ 30 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ , ಬರಪೀಡಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತವಾಗಿರುವ ಪಾವಗಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುವರ್ಣಾಕ್ಷರದಿಂದ ಬರೆದಿಡುವಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಇದೇ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 4 , ಶನಿವಾರದಂದು ನೆರವೇರಆದೆ . ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಇನ್ಫೋಸಿಸ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಷನ್ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ನೂತನ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ವರ್ಚುವಲ್ ಮೂಲಕ ನೆರವೇರಲಿದೆ . ಘನತೆವೆತ್ತ ಉಪರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಂ.ವೆಂಕಯ್ಯನಾಯ್ಡು ರವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ವೆಬನಾರ್ ಮೂಲಕ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಕೊಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ದಿವ್ಯಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿರಂಜನ ಪ್ರಣವ ಸ್ವರೂಪಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದಲಿಂಗ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು , ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದಗಂಗ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನ , ತುಮಕೂರು ರವರು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎ.ನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ , ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ರವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಚಿವರುಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೆ.ಸಿ.ಮಾಧುಸ್ವಾಮಿ , ಸಣ್ಣ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದೀಯ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳ ಇಲಾಖೆ , ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ , ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ , ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ.ಸಿ.ನಾಗೇಶ್ , ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಕಾಲ ಇಲಾಖೆ , ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್.ಸುರೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ , ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರು , ರಾಜಾಜಿನಗರ , ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣಪ್ಪ , ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರು , ಪಾವಗಡ ರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಸಂಘಟಿತ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಲಿದೆ .
ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಶಃ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಎಂದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಾಗಲಾರದು . ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸಹಸ್ರ ಸಹಸ್ರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಡಿ ಭಾಗವಾದ ಪಾವಗಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ದಶಕಗಳಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಧಾಮೂರ್ತಿ , ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು . ಇನ್ಫೋಸಿಸ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಷನ್ ರವರು ಅಪಾರವಾದ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಈ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಈ ನೂತನ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಇನ್ಫೋಸಿಸ್ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ನಿಂತಿದೆ . ಈ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಾದ ಬಗಾರಿಯಾ ದತ್ತಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ , ಭ್ರಂಡ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಷನ್ ಫಾರ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ , ಸರ್ ದೊರಾಜಿ ಟಾಟಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ , ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಳಗ , ಯು.ಕೆ. , ತುಮಕೂರು ಮರ್ಚೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ಕೋಆಪರೇಟಿವ್ ಅಮಿಟೆಡ್ , ತುಮಕೂರು ಮುಂತಾದ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿವೆ . ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಧೈಯ ವಾಕ್ಯವಾದ ಜೀವನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ರೂಪವೇ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಾಗಲಾರದು . ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ದಿವಂಗತ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ್ ( ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವರು ) ಅತ್ಯಂತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದುದನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ . ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿನಿ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು , ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು , ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಸಮಿತಿ ರವರು ಸರ್ವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ .

ನೂತನ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣದ ವಿವರ : ‘ ಶ್ರೀಶಾರದಾದೇವಿ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು 16-6-2002ರಂದು ಮಹಾಮಾತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಾರದಾದೇವಿಯವರ 150 ನೇ ಜನ್ಮದಿನೋತ್ಸವದ ಶುಭಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಠ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಷನ್ನಿನ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತ್ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಗೌತಮಾನಂದಜೀ ಮಹಾರಾಜ್ರವರ ಅಮೃತಹಸ್ತದಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು . ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅಂಧತ್ವ ನಿವಾರಣಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 3200 ಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ನೇತ್ರ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ನಾರಾಯಣ ನೇತ್ರಾಲಯದ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನೇತ್ರ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು . ಅನಂತರ , ತಜ್ಞರ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರು . ತಿಂಗಳ ಮಗುವಿನಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಹದಿನೈದು ವರ್ಷದ ಮಕ್ಕಳವರೆಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾದ ಸುಮಾರು 146 ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ , ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ , ಅನೇಕಾನೇಕ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ನೇತ್ರತಜ್ಞರಾದ ಡಾ . ಭುಜಂಗ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ , ಡಾ . ವಸುಧಾ , ಡಾ . ನರೇಶ್ , ಡಾ . ನರೇಂದ್ರ , ಡಾ . ಕೌಶಿಕ್ ಹೆಗಡೆ , ಡಾ . ಸುಭಾಶ್ ಚಂದ್ರ , ಡಾ . ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಮುಂತಾದವರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ನೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದೆ . ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ , ವಾಟಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ಫೋಸಿಸ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಷನ್ ರವರ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ , 32148 ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ( ಎರಡು ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ) ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು 2008 ರಿಂದ 2016 ವರೆಗೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು . ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ಡಾ . ದೇವಿಪ್ರಸಾದ ಶೆಟ್ಟರವರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಜೆನೆಟಿಕ್ , ಮೆಟಾಬಾಲಿಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅತಿ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಾರಾಯಣ ಹೃದಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು , ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ , ನಾಗರಭಾವಿ , ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಇವರ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆದು , ಜಾಗತಿಕ ನೇತ್ರ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ನಿಯತಕಾಲಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದರ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ವರದಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಗೊಂಡಿತು , ನಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಾರದಾದೇವಿ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ರಾಜ್ಯ , ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಛಾಪನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ .
