ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ: “ಈ ವರ್ಷದ 2021-2022ರ ಆಯ-ವ್ಯಯದಲ್ಲಿ. ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುದಾನ ನೀಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ “

ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮಕ್ಕೆ 05.03.2020 , ಆಯ – ವ್ಯಯ 2020-2021 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ ಮಂಡನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ . ಆಯ – ವ್ಯಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ 89ನೇ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪ್ಪಾರ, ವಿಶ್ವಕರ್ಮ , ನಿಜಶರಣ ಅಂಬಿಗ ಆರ್ಯವೈದ್ಯ , ಕುಂಬಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಗೊಲ್ಲ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಿಗೆ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು 2020-2021ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ದುರದೃಷ್ಟ ಸಮಾಜಕವಾಗಿ , ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ಶೋಷಣೆಗೊಳಪಟ್ಟ , ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ . ಹೀಗಾಗಿ 2021-2022 ನೇ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಡಿಸುವ ಆಯ – ವ್ಯಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶೋಷಣೆಗೊಳಪಟ್ಟ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಅನುದಾನ ( ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮಕ್ಕೆ ) ವನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ .

ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ : ಎಸ್‌ಡಬ್ಲೂಡಿ 225 ಬಿಸಿಎ 2000 ದಿ: 30.03.2000 ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮೂದಿಸಿರುವ 2ಎ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ : 8 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ 2ಎ ರಲ್ಲಿ 102 ಜಾತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಮೂದಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಈ 102 ಜಾತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದವರು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ . ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜದಂತೆ ಇರುವ ಇತರೆ ಸಮಾಜಗಳಾದ ಮಡಿವಾಳ , ತಿಗಳ , ಕುಂಬಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಈ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-2ಎ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾಶುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ .1 ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಿರುವ ಜಾತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-2ಎ ನ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಈ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-2ಎ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶೇ .15 ರಷ್ಟು ಇರುವ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-1ಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವುದು ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-2 ನ್ನು ವಿಭಜಿಸಿ , ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-2ಸಿ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಶೇ .5 ರಷ್ಟು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ .

ಹೀಗಾಗಿ , ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ . ಸವಿತಾ ಸಮಾಜ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ .

ನಾನು ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಆಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಸ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ( 04.12.1997 – 04.12.2000 ) 2 ಎ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ 101 ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಸವಿತಾ , ಮಡಿವಾಳ , ತಿಗಳ , ಕುಂಬಾರ , ದೇವಾಡಿಗೆ ಈ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾ ಬಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ .1 ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಿರುವ ಜಾತಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿದೆ . ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೆ . ಇದರ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲು ವಿನಂತಿ ,

CMR University School of Legal Studies establishes Centre for Environmental Studies: Law and Policy

The CMR University School of Legal Studies in Bengaluru has established the Centre for Environmental Studies: Law and Policy to promote a sense of responsibility among students towards environmental protection and preservation. The Centre will focus on research into various aspects of environmental laws and policies in India and abroad.

Karnataka High Court Judge, Honourable Justice Siddappa Sunil Dutt Yadav, declared the Centre open through a virtual event. In his inaugural address, Justice Siddappa spoke about the role of courts in protecting the environment. While discussing the evolution of environmental jurisprudence, he referred to Stockholm Declaration, Bhopal Gas Tragedy and the Ramsar Convention, which led to a resolve to protect the environment. 

Analysing the development of environmental jurisprudence in relation to the Water Act and the Constitution, Justice Yadav emphasised on the role of NGOs and environmental activists in further strengthening the laws. “Several decisions led to the development of principles like Intergenerational Equity, Polluter Pays Principle, Precautionary Principle, and Sustainable Development,” he added. 

Well-known environmentalist A. N. Yellappa Reddy, in his remarks, referred to the recent disaster at Uttarakhand, and went on to analyse the history of the region and the relevance of Deodar trees to it. “These trees were recklessly cut by the British and this initiated the recurrent destructions at Uttarakhand. Communities were given the responsibility of protecting biodiversity of the regions they lived. In the process of development, governments have lost track of the environment,” he added.

The virtual ceremony was attended by other dignitaries Vijay Kumar Gogi, IFS, Prof. Dr. T. R. Subramanya, Dean, CMR University School of Legal Studies and Prof VJ Praneshwaran, Vice Principal of CMR University School of Legal Studies.

According to Prof Subramanya, the Centre will Inspire and educate students by providing hands on advocacy experience and direct exposure to the challenges of environmental law. “It will engage and collaborate with local communities and environmental groups. It will also advocate for reforms in environmental laws through scientifically sound and pragmatic legislative proposals among other things,” he asserted.

GINSERV selects 24 startups for GINCELERATOR 2.0 accelerator program; each startup to receive tooklkit worth INR 25 lakhs

Supports startups in Health, Medical and Education technologies; launches new initiatives – Virtual Incubation & Institutional Incubation Ecosystem

BENGALURU: GINSERV, India’s leading Technology Business Incubator (TBI) based out of Bengaluru, today announced the first cohort of 24 startups involved in product development in Health, Medical and Education-related technologies for its flagship GINCELERATOR program.

GINCELERATOR, GINSERV’s accelerator program has been designed with the support of National Science Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Each of the 24 startups will be eligible for Startup Kit worth INR 25 Lakh. As many as 100 startups had submitted applications of which 24 were selected based on various parameters.

Girish Hiremath, COO, GINSERV, said, “GINCELERATOR 2.0 is conceived to accelerate the growth and scale of Tech start-ups sustainably stronger and faster by providing access to mentors, industry experts, investors, and pilot access to potential customers. GINSERV being part the Mysuru-based JSS Group Institutions with its strong presence in Education, Medical and Healthcare space, can unlock huge opportunities for the Tech Start-ups form these sectors.”

GINSERV launched two new programs on the occasion – Virtual Incubation and Institutional Incubation Ecosystem. “Virtual incubation is the need of the hour. With work from home becoming a norm in the pandemic driven new normal, entrepreneurship has started to bloom in smaller cities, towns and in drawing rooms of innovators,” Hiremath pointed out.

Institutional incubation is about setting up a startup ecosystem in various technology institutions like engineering colleges. GINSERV is in advanced stage with technology institutes across Karnataka. According to Hiremath, non-metros like Belagavi, Hubballi-Dharwad and Mangaluru have the potential to develop into technology hubs.

Meena Nagaraj C N, Director, IT & BT, Science and Technology and Managing Director, KITS, Government of Karnataka, chief guest of the occasion, in her speech, elaborated on the new Special Incentives Scheme for Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector to attract industries moving out from China. “Karnataka’s IT policy is focused on employment generation and Startups contribute significantly in this direction. The goal of new policy (2020-2025) is to boost IT penetration and innovation in the state holistically, both in Bangalore and beyond. Tier 2 and tier 3 cities will be covered under Beyond Bangalore plan,” she added.

Kapil Khandelwal, Managing Partner, Toro Finserve LLP, which is the sponsor to India Healthcare Opportunities Fund, and Director at EquNev Capital Pvt. Ltd, was instrumental in starting the Bangalore Angels and has invested and exited several startups in the healthcare space. As the keynote speaker, he said, “The National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) offers an immense opportunity. Digital healthcare can unlock US $200-250 billion in the next 10 years to the nation’s economic value. To realise this, health-tech investments of around 5% ($12.5 billion) is needed right away. The overall India digital health opportunity is valued at $50 billion.”

“We need to create thousands of ventures that can create the depth and width of healthcare apps for the next billion today,” Khandelwal added.

ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸುವಾಗ, ಡಾ. ರೆಜಿನಾ ಸೀಲಾನ್ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ತಾಪ್ ಹಮೀದ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಶ್ರೀ ನಟರಾಜನ್ ತುಲಸಿಂಗಂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲು 12 ಜನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರು ಆಫ್ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ಟ್ ಜೀಸಸ್ ಎಂದು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.  ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಈ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಸಭೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಲು ನನಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ತಾಪ್ ಹಮೀದ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.  ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನಾನು ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ತಾಪ್ ಹಮೀದ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾದಾಗ ಅದು ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಲು ನನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿದೆ.  ಇದನ್ನು 6 ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮದ ಉನ್ನತ ನಟರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬಜೆಟ್‌ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ನೈತಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಭಾಗವಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ವಿನಂತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.  ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವು ವೈಭವಯುತವಾಗಲು ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.  ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅನುಮೋದನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Mr. Althap Hamed, Founder of Media Times which was established in 1984 and they are members of Tamil Film Producers Council , Film Chamber of Commerce, Telugu Film Pro- ducer’s council, Chennai Tiruvallur Kanchipuram Film Distributors Association, South Indian Film and Television Producers Guild, Film Writers Association , FEFSI and South Indian dubbing Artist Union.

On this devine Production Meet of “12 Disciples (12 Apostles)” Mr. Althap Hamed said ” I am very happy to see you all here who made time for us and attending the meet, I thank each and every one of you. Speaking about the movie 12 Disciples, It is a Indian International Film which will be releasing in world languages, this movie will be history making movie while this type of films have come but of any one disciple but we are challening and making our dream project which shows 12 Disicples in the same movie. When I discussed about this project to madam Dr. Regina Seelan she told me that she will stand with me and will complete this devine project succesfully. All we need is now your support.”

Mr. Nagarajan Thulasingam, born in Tindivanam Tamil Nadu and has graduation in B.sc, D.F.Tech, he has done three movies which is ARAVINDHAN starring Sarath Kumar Parthiban, Nagma, Oorvasi, Prakash Raj, Thilagan, Anandha Raj, Visu. AGARAM starring Nandha, Archana, Bijumenon, Vivek, Raj kapoor and VANDHE MAATHARAM(bilangual tamil & malayalam) starring Mamutty, Arjun, Sneha, Deepak Jetty, Rajkapoor Nasar

While delevering Director Speech, Mr. Nagarajan Thulasingam said As you know I have done three movies Aravindhan, Agaram and Vandhe Maatharam but this 12 Disciples is a very special movie in my career it is a Indian Inter- natitional as producer said and it will be releasing in World languages as im very eager to start the project as it was mentioned shoot will commence from April and we are looking for your support.

Dr. Regina Seelan, President/Chief Functionary of Salve Regina Charitable Trust, Member of Red Cross Society, Vice Chairperson of Bengaluru Central District Congress Committee Minority Department and she is also Vice President, Women’s Wing of Interna- tional Human Rights Action Committee.

Dr. Regina Seelan said Today we all are gathered here to welcome our producer Mr. Althap Hameed and our director Mr. Natarajan Thulasingam of the movie called 12 Apostles of Christ Jesus. I thank Mr. Althap Hameed who has given me an opportunity to be a part of this production meet to explain about this project. When I met Mr. Althap Hameed regarding the project it was wonderful and my pleasure to be a part of this movie. As this is to be filmed in 6 different languages and with a high budget with top actors in the industry.
