HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) has launched a new comprehensive cancer hospital at Hebbal in north Bengaluru, expanding access to advanced oncology care in the region. The facility, spread across 1.75 lakh sq. ft. with a capacity of up to 132 beds, brings together diagnosis, treatment and recovery services under one roof.

A key highlight of the hospital is the introduction of Karnataka’s first Elekta Unity MR-Linac, an advanced radiation therapy system that combines MRI imaging with a linear accelerator. The technology enables real-time imaging of tumours during treatment, allowing doctors to deliver highly precise and adaptive radiation therapy while minimising damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

The hospital was inaugurated by Sandalwood actor and director Kichcha Sudeep, who stressed the importance of timely diagnosis, awareness and access to advanced treatment facilities for cancer patients and their families.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. B. S. Ajaikumar said cancer care is increasingly becoming technology-driven and focused on improving long-term outcomes through personalised and multidisciplinary treatment. He noted that the Hebbal centre represents an important step in expanding precision-led oncology services in Karnataka.
According to Dr. Manish Mattoo, the new centre combines advanced technology, multidisciplinary expertise and patient-centric care. Apart from the MR-Linac, the hospital is equipped with Accuray TomoTherapy with Radixact and an 80-slice Digital PET-CT scanner.
The facility also houses five robotic-assisted modular operation theatres, 19 chemotherapy daycare beds, 14 premium treatment bays and a 15-bed ICU and HDU.
Diagnostic services including endoscopy, bronchoscopy, mammography, pathology and blood storage are also available.
HCG officials said the hospital has been designed to offer a healing environment with amenities such as an international lounge, cafeteria and valet parking alongside comprehensive cancer care services.
