Recommerce- raised the Curtains for the first edition of Global Battery Recycling Conference, at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru, on 3rd. and 4th of March, 2021, officially supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Bureau of Indian Standards and Digital India,

This event is conceptualized and hosted by Recommerce in partnership with- World Scrap Recycling Pvt Ltd, Trade Cloud Solutions, The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited, Exigo, Resource E-waste, and Green Waves Environmental Solutions.

This Knowledge gathering is inaugurated by Shri. Brijesh Kumar, IFS Principal Secretary, (Ecology & Environment) Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment & Chairman, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Will also witness a key address from Shri. Srinivasulu, IFS Member secretary Kamataka State Pollution Control Board. The objective of the event is to encourage the recycling of batteries, increase awareness about battery recycling, promote business co-operation and development in the areas of battery recycling and EV battery recycling in India. Platform to discuss and debate on topics like eco-friendly ways for battery recycling, asset management, best in collection procedures, effective implementation of EPR, latest innovations, materials-recovery solutions, end-of-life strategies, quality check certifications, and standards, as well as regulatory and business models to help reduce the environmental impact of battery waste. The two days of the gathering will give a stage to learn, network with 25+ eminent speakers, panellist and stalwarts (Policy Makers, Industry experts )across the Globe. The conference will give perspective on Battery Recycling in India and Globe, insights about the opportunities and challenges for the entire value chain(recyclers, OEM’s, CEO’s, senior-level executives, associations, government bodies, consultants, educational institutions, experts in recycling management and environment-friendly technologies and research organizations) Recommerce is a brand, owned by Urdhva Management, a Bengaluru-based, driven by Venkatreddy D Patil intends to promote recycling and facilitate recycling management, nationwide and globally.
