Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has appointed Smt. L. Sarala Mahesh and Mr. L. Subash George Bush as Secretaries of the Bengaluru Central District Street Vendors Cell.
The appointments were made on the recommendations of Dr. Yoonas Jones, Vice-President of the KPCC Human Rights Department; Shri Khaleel, President of the Bengaluru District Central Street Vendors Cell; Shri Ranga Swami, President of the KPCC Street Vendors Department; and Smt. Kavya Shree Mahila, President of the KPCC Street Vendors Cell.
The appointment programme was held at the Congress Bharat Jodo Bhavan office on Queen’s Road in Bengaluru. Several other members were also appointed to various organisational posts during the programme.
The appointments are aimed at strengthening the organisation at the district level and enhancing its engagement with street vendors and their concerns.
