Bengaluru, September 7: The Art Cultural Educational Enlight Foundation (Regd.) organised a grand celebration of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Teachers’ Day and the India Records World Record Certificate Presentation Ceremony at Rangasthala Auditorium, MG Road Metro Station, Bengaluru, on September 6.
The programme was organised under the leadership of Ambika C., Founder of the Foundation. Deputy Director of Cubbon Park, G. Kusuma, senior journalist Prasanna, and Roshani Gowda, State President of the Akhila Karnataka State Government Women Employees’ Association, were present as chief guests.
Teachers who have made notable contributions in the fields of yoga, art, culture, education, and physical and mental health education were felicitated during the programme. Gopal Achar, Saroja Gopal, Roopashree N.R., Surekha Ravikumar, Kishore Kumar, Gopi D., Pushpa C. and Annapurnamma were honoured for their valuable services.
Students who successfully participated in the India Records World Record achievement in yoga and Gandhari Vidya were also presented with certificates and felicitated on the occasion.
The cultural performances added colour and vibrancy to the celebrations. The Yaksha Sanjeevini troupe presented the mythological Yakshagana ‘Kamsa Vadhe’, portraying the story of Lord Krishna and highlighting the triumph of righteousness over evil.
The Krishna Avatar dance and Bharatanatyam performances were among the major attractions of the evening. Young children dressed as Lord Krishna captivated the audience with their adorable performances, bringing alive the playful episodes and divine charm of Balakrishna.
The event brought together education, art, culture and Indian heritage on a single platform, making the celebration a memorable blend of tradition, talent and devotion.
