From hospitality sector to aviation and all verticals in between that include travel agents, tour operators, restaurants, shopping malls and tourist ground transport, the entire value chain has been hit by low demand and dwindling margins leading to loss of employment and income. As part of a resuscitation program a group of young and seasoned entrepreneurs supported by India’s premier nodal bodies; ASSOCHAM the fountainhead of Knowledge for Indian industry and Skal International India, a global travel & tourism association with a local India presence comprising all verticals in the travel domain; have come together to extend support to the local promoters. The conclave in its maiden avatar is aimed at the corporate cream of Bengaluru’s multi- faceted industry beyond the information technology community. To maintain safe social distancing and necessary Covid protocols in line with local Government regulations, the conclave scheduled to take place at Bengaluru’s Ritz Carlton Hotel will witness high profile management executive deliberating on revitalizing and stimulating corporate & MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) travel across India in the this age of the ‘new normalľ. The conclave has received the support from Government of Karnataka, Department of Tourism. India’s premier business association ASSOCHAM has taken on mentorship by powering the conclave through its wide reach of member chambers & trade associations. Domestic tourism is paramount to resuscitating travel and tourism. The association will be represented by senior travel, tourism, aviation and hospitality industry management.
