Over 200 devotees and staff members benefit from bone health screening, medical consultation and free medicines
Bengaluru: A free bone health and bone density screening camp was organised at the Nanjanagudu Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru, benefiting more than 200 devotees and staff members.
The health camp was conducted with the blessings of Paramapujya Sri 108 Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripadangalavaru and under the leadership of R.K. Vadindra Acharya, senior manager of the Sri Mutt. The programme was organised in association with Keva Ayurveda Hospital, led by its founder and CEO Dr. Krishna Kumar and his medical team.
The camp was held from 8.30 am to 1 pm, providing participants with bone health assessments, bone density tests and free medical consultations. Free medicines were also distributed to those who required them.
Speaking about the initiative, Sri Nandakishore Acharya said the camp was organised as part of the Mutt’s efforts to support the health and well-being of its staff members and devotees. More than 200 people underwent bone health and bone density screening during the camp.
Doctors from the Keva Ayurveda Hospital team also provided guidance on various bone-related health concerns and offered advice on maintaining better bone health.
At the conclusion of the programme, R.K. Vadindra Acharya felicitated Dr. Krishna Kumar and his team by presenting them with Gururaya’s Shesha Vastra, Phala and Mantrakshata, and conveyed his appreciation for their service.
Dr. Krishna Kumar expressed his gratitude to Paramapujya Sri 108 Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripadangalavaru for providing the opportunity to conduct the health initiative and thanked R.K. Vadindra Acharya and the Sri Mutt administration for their support and cooperation.
The devotees who participated in the camp appreciated the initiative and thanked both the Mutt administration and the Keva Ayurveda Hospital team for providing free health screening, medical consultation and medicines.
