Sattva Group Redevelops Defence Colony Park in Indiranagar, Enhancing Community Spaces and Urban Greenery

Bengaluru, August 22, 2026: Sattva Group, one of India’s leading real estate developers, has redeveloped Defence Colony Park in Indiranagar as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at creating greener, more inclusive and sustainable community spaces.

The revamped park was inaugurated by MLA Shri Raghu, who was the Chief Guest, in the presence of Bijay Agarwal, Managing Director, Sattva Group; Niru Agarwal, Director, Sattva Group, and members of the local community.
The redevelopment focused on improving the park’s infrastructure while retaining its character as a shared neighbourhood space. The upgrades include improved drainage, refurbished railings and walkways, enhanced landscaping and other facilities aimed at making the park safer, more comfortable and accessible for residents and visitors.
The existing yoga deck has also been upgraded to provide a better setting for yoga, mindfulness and other wellness activities. A new outdoor gym has been added, giving residents an accessible space for regular exercise and fitness. The park also features a new gazebo, offering residents a place to relax, interact and spend time with the community.

The initiative comes at a time when accessible and well-maintained public spaces are becoming increasingly important in rapidly growing urban neighbourhoods. Parks provide residents with opportunities for exercise, recreation, social interaction and engagement with nature, contributing to healthier and more connected communities.
