Bengaluru, September 16: The three-day Schools of India Education Summit 2026, focusing on emerging challenges, opportunities and innovations in school education, will be held at Novotel Imagica, Khopoli, Maharashtra, from October 30 to November 1.
The national-level summit will bring together educationists, school founders, principals, policymakers, researchers and experts in artificial intelligence (AI) and educational technology to discuss the future of school education in India.
The summit was announced at a press meet held at the Press Club of Bangalore on Wednesday in the presence of The School of India founder Ankit Pushparaj Verma, Dhruv Global Schools Director Anishkaa Malpani and others. The conference is being organised under the guidance of Yashvardhan Malpani, Director, Malpani Group.
The discussions will focus on integrating technology with traditional educational values, the growing use of AI in classrooms, and ways to improve access to quality and equitable education.
According to Ankit Pushparaj Verma, the summit will emphasise practical discussions and strategies that can be implemented at both institutional and classroom levels. Key areas will include evolving teaching methodologies, innovation in learning, school leadership and management, student mental health, and holistic development.
Several sessions and workshops will examine the role of AI in school education, with particular emphasis on its safe, responsible and effective use. The summit will also explore developments in global education and their possible relevance to the Indian education system.
An education technology exhibition will be held alongside the summit, showcasing EdTech products, smart classroom solutions, educational equipment and innovative learning resources.
Anishkaa Malpani said the summit would provide a common platform for experts from different segments of the education sector to exchange knowledge and discuss emerging trends.
The speakers and mentors are expected to include Lakshmi Kumar of Avasara Academy, Sanjay Malpani of Malpani Group of Schools, and Dr Swati Popat Vats of ECA and Podar Education Network.
Sessions on AI in education will feature Russell John Kelly of Almach AI, while Seetha Murthy of IB World Schools and Alka Pandey of Cambridge International are scheduled to speak on international curricula.
Parimal Merchant of SP Jain School of Global Management will address aspects of global business education, while Mrinal Shah of Social Brick will discuss play-based and experiential learning.
