On the occasion of World Vision Day celebrated on 23rd October every year worldwide, Lions Clubs International, District 317F celebrated Lions Vision Day 2021at St.Joseph’s College Concert Hall which was inaugurated today by the District Governor, Lion Manoharan Nambiar in the august presence of
Founder & Managing Trustee, Samarthan Trust for the Blind, Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, Lion B S Rajashekaraiah, First Vice District Governor, Father Sunil Fernandes, Principal, St. Joseph’s Boys High School, Lion. Vijaykumar, District Service Coordinator, Sri. Gurudev, Chairman, Dr. Rajkumar Eye Collection Centre and the Program was organised and presided by Lion. Akash Suvarna, District Coordinator, Vision Program.

On the occasion Fr.Sunil Fernandez acknowledged and congratulated Lions for their dedicated services rendered to downtrodeen and communities in the time of need and thanked them for living by their tag line “Where there is a need, there is a Lion”

Dr. Gurudev, Chairman, Dr. Rajkumar Eye Collection Centre, Doddaballapur stressed on the need for eye donations and appealed families should could come forward to donate eyes of their deceased family member which can provide sight to another visually impaired person.
