‘ Initiative to sensitise importance of sleep and health ahead of World Sleep Day’

Bengaluru, March 10h, 2019: Sleep disorders affect a substantial number of people worldwide and may be increasing in prevalence. Unfortunately, many of these disorders can go unrecognized and untreated in clinical practice. Although the understanding that good sleep is essential to health, approaching the issue is often Importantly, recent data also suggest that sleep disorders are becoming increasingly recognized in developing nations.

Ahead of the World Sleep Day and recognising the three pillars of health -sleep, exercise and nutrition, Kurl- on, India’s leading home comfort solution provider and mattress brand today organised Sleepathon 2019, a first of its kind initiative in an effort to build and raise awareness on the importance good sleep on health and well-being. The run was organised in two categories of 3K and 1K, with a participation of 250+ enthusiasts from various walks of life.
