The MD and CEO of Union Bank of India, Sri Rajkiran Rai G addressed Top Executives of South India at the glittering Mysore Hall of ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru. The primary motto of the meeting was to build beneficial and lasting relationships with customers by resolving the practical hurdles faced during the difficult times of COVID. He thanked the entire staff members and acknowledged their efforts and contribution to the growth of the nation during the pandemic by providing relief to needy segments and also driving a successful amalgamation.

He also conveyed the special recognition and appreciation to Union Bank of India by Hon. Finance Minister in her recent meeting for providing extraordinary services while braving COVID and supporting economic recovery of the nation.

All the customers of erstwhile Corporation Bank and erstwhile Andhra Bank have been migrated to Finacle 10 CBS of Union Bank of India in a record time with least inconvenience to Customers i.e. without effecting any change in their account numbers, debit cards or Net Banking credentials. Union Bank of India is launching Vision 2025 Transformation Phase 2 project which includes many new initiatives to enhance customer service. It is pertinent to mention that the Bank has already accomplished administrative amalgamation process with roll out of new Organisation Structure which is the best in the class in Banking Industry. Bank has also won award from the Hon. Finance Minister of India for best performance under EASE 3.0 agenda.
On this achievement MD and CEO of Union Bank of India, Sri Rajkiran Rai G said “We are extremely happy to launch End-to-End Digital Journey to compete with new age players and which suit GenNext customers by improving our TAT. Union bank of India is coming up with multiple initiatives including digitized back office and branches, CRM Lead Management, Stressed Asset Management Module and Credit monitoring portal, Trade Finance end to end digitization of import, export, remittances, guarantee etc to provide customer service by click of a button.”
