Today, January 24, 2023) is a historic day for all Sanatanis in general and Kashmiri Hindus in particular. Gold plated Panchaloha idol of Godess Sharda is being taken in a yatra from Sringeri toTeetwal LoC in Kashmir where she will be installed in a newly constructed temple on March 22, 2023.

This main deity of Kashmiri Pandits and worshiped as the Goddess of Knowledge will be carried in a specially designed chariot vehicle, and pass through Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi-NCR, Cghandigarh, Amritsar, Jammu and finally to Tikker Asthapan in Kupwara. In all above places, the chariot carrying the deity will be kept in Kashmiri Bhavans for the darshan of displaced Kashmiri Pandits living all over India.

PROGRAMME IN KASHMIR BHAVAN, Jayanagar, Bengaluru.

January 26, 2023 at Noon: The chariot will reach Kashmir Bhavan where she will be kept for dharshan by all the devotees and general public.

January 27, 2023: Darshan will open at 7 am to 7 p.m. (A special homa will be performed at Kashmir Bhavan lawns from 10 a, to 2 p.m.

January 28, 2023: Darshan will open at 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Prashad will be distributed to all the devotees.

The Panchaloha Murthi of Sharda MAA, given by Sringeri Sharda Mutt to Save Sharda Committee headed by Sh Ravinder Pandita will be taken to Teetwal in Kashmir for its consecration at newly built Sharda Temple at LoC Teetwal.

The Yatra will start from Guru Tritya ( that would be annual convocation day at Sharda Peeth during ancient times) falling on January 24, 2023.

The Pran-pratishtha of Sharda Mata idol will be on Chaitra maas prtipada NAVREH day falling on March 22, 2023. The Save Sharada Committee of Kashmir has been set up to revive the ancient Sharada temple, which used to be a major seat of learning in ancient India but now in ruins in the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir after being plundered and ravaged by the invaders.

Members of Save Sharda Committee and Sharda Yatra Temple Committee, joined by representatives of the community from Bangalore are in Singeri on January 24 to be a part of the first leg of Yatra and will reach Kashmir Bhavan, Jayanagar Bangalore on January 26 afternoon, where it will be kept till January 27 for divine darshan of devotees. A homa (Havan) will be performed on January 27 at Kashmir Bhavan.

All the devotees and Sanatanis are requested to have the darshan of Sharda Maa before the Yatra leaves for Mumbai.
