ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ ಉಪವರ್ಗೀಕರಣ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಕುರಿತು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಗಂಭೀರ ಆತಂಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡನೆ

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮೇ 8:
ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಗಳ (SC) ಉಪವರ್ಗೀಕರಣ ಸಂಬಂಧ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಾಗಮೋಹನದಾಸ ಅವರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಮಧ್ಯಂತರ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ದತ್ತಾಂಶ (Empirical Data) ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ SC ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಪ್ರತಿ ಜಾತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆಸಲು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.

ಈ ಅಧ್ಯಯನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಗವು ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಮೇ 5 ರಿಂದ ಮೇ 17 ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಧಾನ ಕುರಿತು ಹಲವು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ತೀವ್ರ ಆತಂಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರುನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಾಯಕರು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆತಂಕಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು:

1. ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಅಂಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ: ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ. ಬಹುತೇಕ ಜನರು ದಾಖಲೆ ರಹಿತ ತಾಂಡಾಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರು, ಅನಕ್ಷರಸ್ತರು, ಅಥವಾ ಇತರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ/ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಲಸೆ ಹೋಗಿರುವವರು. ಈ ಇಳಿ ಅವಧಿಯ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.


2. ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಭೀತಿ: ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಮೀಕ್ಷಾ ನಮೂನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಬೇಕು. ಈ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷಾ ನಮೂನೆಯ ವಿವರಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.


3. ವಲಸೆ ಹೋದ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಲುಪಲು ಕಷ್ಟ: ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಕೇವಲ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಲಸೆ ಹೋದವರು ವಾಪಸ್ ಬರುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ, ಸಮೀಕ್ಷಾ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ದೀಪಾವಳಿವರೆಗೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು, ಅಥವಾ ಅವರು ವಾಸವಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ಸಂಬಂಧಿತರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.


4. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜಾತಿ ಜನಗಣನೆ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ: ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜಾತಿಗಣತಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಿಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು. ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಉಪವರ್ಗೀಕರಣ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಾರ್ಹವಾಗಿದೆ.


5. ಹುಡುಕಾಟವಿಲ್ಲದ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಅಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಮೂಲವಾಗಬಹುದು: ಸಮಗ್ರವಾದ ಪೂರ್ವ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ಸತ್ಯದ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ಸಿಗದು ಮತ್ತು ಇದು ಅನೇಕ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡಬಹುದು.


6. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹತೆ ಕೊರತೆ: ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಬಾರಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಭೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ, ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸದೆ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ತೋರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೆಲವೆ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಇತರರನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪವಿದೆ.


7. ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಶೋಷಣೆ: ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರಾಜನಾಯ್ಕ, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರವಿಕಾಂತ್ ಆರ್. ಅಂಗಡಿ, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮುಖಂಡ ಲಲಿತಾ ನಾಯ್ಕ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.



ಸಂಘಟನೆ, ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಆಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸೂಕ್ತ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

Bengaluru – While brain health is often attributed to genetics, ageing, and lifestyle habits like exercise and sleep, emerging research highlights the significant role of diet—particularly the impact of nutrients like tocotrienols found in palm oil—in supporting cognitive function and neuroprotection.

Tocotrienols, a potent form of Vitamin E abundantly present in palm oil, are gaining recognition in the medical community for their neuroprotective properties. These compounds have demonstrated the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and reduce inflammation, oxidative stress, and neuronal damage—factors central to the development of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Unlike the more commonly known tocopherols, tocotrienols offer unique antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cell-protective benefits. Palm oil, one of the richest natural sources of tocotrienols—especially alpha-tocotrienol—has been shown to support brain health by preventing lipid peroxidation, reducing neuroinflammation, and potentially slowing age-related cognitive decline.

A clinical study involving 121 individuals found that tocotrienol supplementation helped slow the progression of brain white matter lesions (WMLs), which are often linked to dementia. In addition to their neuroprotective effects, tocotrienols may promote healthier ageing by targeting senescent cells—damaged cells that contribute to chronic inflammation and age-related illnesses.

One key mechanism through which tocotrienols protect brain cells is by regulating the enzyme 12-Lipoxygenase (12-LOX), which plays a role in oxidative stress and glutamate-induced neurotoxicity. This action is particularly relevant in the context of stroke prevention and recovery, a growing area of focus in neurosurgical research.

Further promising results have emerged from a pilot study conducted in Singapore, which evaluated the cognitive effects of tocotrienols in healthy young adults. The findings suggest that tocotrienols may act as natural nootropics, enhancing memory, attention, and neural efficiency during cognitively demanding tasks.

Beyond brain health, tocotrienols also offer protective benefits for the cardiovascular and gastrointestinal systems. While palm oil does contain saturated fats, its high concentration of tocotrienols and beta-carotene positions it as a functional dietary fat—provided it is consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

As scientific interest continues to grow, tocotrienols from palm oil are emerging as a natural, evidence-backed solution for maintaining cognitive vitality and overall well-being. Researchers are now calling for more comprehensive clinical trials to explore their full therapeutic potential.

ಈ ರೀತಿ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ಸೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದೋಷಾರೋಪ ಮಾಡುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಗಂಭೀರ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು. ದೇಶದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ತದ್ವಿರುಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವಹೇಳನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಈ ವರ್ತನೆ “ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ” ಎಂದರು.

ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯ:
ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದೇಶಿ ಹಣಪೂರ್ವಿತ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಜತೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಅಭಿಯಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ರಾಜ್ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

“ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಭಾಷಣ ಹಕ್ಕು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಯೋಧರ ಬಲಿದಾನವನ್ನು ನಕಾರಿಸುವ ಹಕ್ಕು ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಜಾಗೃತತೆಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಈ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಅನೇಕ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಸೈನಿಕರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಧ್ವನಿ ಇರುವವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರು ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ರಾಜ್ ಅವರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮದ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

“Those Who Call Army Operations Fake Are the Real Enemies of India, Says Editor G.S. Gopal Raaj”

Bengaluru – In a strong and unapologetic statement, senior journalist and editor of City Today News and Tsunami Japthi Kannada fortnightly, G.S. Gopal Raaj, has come down heavily on individuals who question the integrity of the Indian Army and the Government of India by calling genuine terror attacks and counter-operations “fake.”

Addressing media personnel and civil society representatives in Bengaluru, G.S. Gopal Raaj expressed deep anguish over recent online and offline commentary surrounding the Pahalgam terror incident, where brave Indian soldiers laid down their lives while combating militants in Kashmir. “It is disgraceful that some people, under the garb of activism or alternative narratives, are spreading lies that such incidents are staged. These individuals are not critics—they are traitors. They are the real enemies of this nation,” he declared.

G.S. Gopal Raaj called upon the Central Government to take immediate and stern action against such anti-national elements who repeatedly attempt to demoralize the armed forces and defame the country’s institutions. “Our Army stands as the ultimate shield between chaos and national security. Undermining their sacrifices by calling genuine operations fake is a deliberate act of sabotage. It must not go unpunished,” he stated.

He urged the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Defence to launch investigations into such propaganda campaigns, particularly those spread through social media platforms and foreign-funded digital groups. “Freedom of speech does not give anyone the right to call our martyrs’ sacrifices a lie,” he emphasized.

Several veterans and nationalist voices echoed his sentiment, warning that unchecked misinformation can sow doubt among the masses, damage India’s international image, and encourage terror sympathizers.
