ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರುನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 1ರಂದು ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಶ್ರೀ ರೇಣುಕಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಜಯಂತಿ ಯುಗಮಾನೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ವೀರಶೈವ-ಲಿಂಗಾಯಿತ ಮಹಾಸಭಾ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಯುವ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮನೋಹರ್ ಅಬ್ಬಿಗೆರೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಯೋಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ರೇಣುಕಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ತತ್ತ್ವ-ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯವೆಂದರು.

ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 10ಕ್ಕೆ ಹಡ್ಸನ್ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಹೊತ್ತ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಕಲಾತಂಡಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಲಾಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದವರೆಗೆ ಸಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳೂ ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಭಕ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಯುವಕರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
Bengaluru: The 431st Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Swamy was celebrated with religious fervour at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Jayanagar 5th Block, drawing thousands of devotees.
As per the directives of His Holiness Sri Subudhendra Tirtha, the celebrations were conducted under the leadership of senior mutt administrator R.K. Vadindracharya. The rituals began with Ashtottara Parayana followed by Phala Panchamruta Abhisheka to the Brindavana of the saint.
On the occasion, His Holiness Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha visited the mutt and performed the Samsthana Pooja. Praying for universal welfare, he also offered Laksha Pushparchane at the Brindavana of Guru Raghavendra. The visiting seer was accorded a traditional Poorna Kumbha welcome, accompanied by floral honours and ceremonial offerings, temple priest Nandakishore Acharya said.
The mutt premises were specially decorated with illumination and flowers to mark the occasion. A series of special rituals were held, and Anna Santarpane (mass feeding) was organised for the thousands of devotees who attended the celebrations.
Devotees, service volunteers, dignitaries, artistes and members of the public participated in the festivities, received Mantrakshate and prasada after offering prayers, and sought the blessings of the revered saint.
Dharmadhikari Krishna Gundacharya, priests Ramachandracharya and Krishnacharya, mutt staff, volunteers and devotees were present and rendered service during the celebrations.
LuLu Funtura Bengaluru Celebrates Young Culinary Talent at the 4th Edition of Little Chef Competition
Bengaluru, February 23, 2026: The vibrant atmosphere at LuLu Mall, Rajajinagar came alive with excitement, creativity, and youthful enthusiasm as LuLu Funtura hosted the grand finale of the 4th Edition of the Little Chef Competition 2026. Designed as a nurturing platform for budding culinary enthusiasts, the event showcased the remarkable skills of children passionate about cooking.
Open to participants aged between 8 and 15 years, the competition drew an impressive response with more than 300 young chefs stepping forward to demonstrate their gastronomic flair. Following multiple rounds of auditions and eliminations, 20 semi-finalists advanced, culminating in a highly competitive grand finale featuring the top 10 finalists – Nirvee Ashish, Kaira Jain, Sai Preetham D., Sumaiyah Shaikh, Nandakishan, Ahmed, Mayukh Nagaraju, Himanya, Kushal P., and Gyaan S. Kottari.
In the presence of proud parents and an esteemed judging panel comprising MasterChef India fame Mohammed Ashiq, Archana B.H., Varghese Thomas, and Chef Nanda Kumar, the finalists presented an impressive spectrum of dishes. From innovative starters to indulgent desserts, each creation reflected cultural diversity, originality, and a keen understanding of flavors and presentation.
Sai Preetham stood out with exceptional creativity, technique, and confidence, earning the coveted Little Chef title along with a trophy, certificate, and a cash prize of ₹50,000. Gyaan S. Kottari secured the first runner-up position with a cash prize of ₹25,000, while Mayukh Nagaraju was awarded the second runner-up title and a cash prize of ₹10,000.
Beyond competition, the initiative aimed to instill valuable life skills among children-encouraging responsibility, independence, and healthy lifestyle habits through the engaging medium of cooking.
Expressing his delight, Mohammed Ashiq shared that platforms like these play a vital role in discovering hidden culinary talent among children while nurturing their confidence and creativity. He noted that mentoring young chefs and guiding them toward exploring culinary careers is both meaningful and inspiring.
Echoing similar sentiments, Mr. Shereef K. K., Regional Director of LuLu Mall Bengaluru, emphasized that cooking is a life skill that blends creativity with discipline. Bengaluru: The 405th Pattabhisheka Utsav of revered saint Sri Raghavendra Swami was celebrated with religious fervour at the Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru. The programmes were organised under the directives of pontiff Sri Subudhendra Tirtha and conducted under the leadership of senior mutt administrator R.K. Vadindra Acharya.
As part of the celebrations, priests performed Sri Raghavendra Stotra and Ashtottara recitations followed by Sahasra Kalasha Ksheerabhisheka and Panchamruta Abhisheka to the Brindavana. The ceremonial inauguration featured the installation of the saint’s golden padukas on a golden throne accompanied by a floral shower, temple priest Nandakishore Acharya said.
The Brindavana was specially adorned with a Navaratna kavacha, fruit garlands and elaborate floral decorations. Thousands of devotees participated in the rituals and received anna prasada after the Maha Mangalarati.
Meanwhile, marking the 431st birth anniversary celebrations on February 24, a special Laksha Pushparchane will be performed by Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha at 11 am for universal welfare, organisers said. Devotees have been invited to participate and receive tirtha and blessings.

Bengaluru: Preparations are underway at the Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swamiji Mutt in Jayanagar 5th Block for the grand celebration of the 405th Pattabhisheka Mahotsava and the 431st Jayanthi of Sri Raghavendra Swamiji. The six-day spiritual event will be held from February 19 to 24 under the guidance of His Holiness Sri Subudhendra Theertha Sripadangalavaru, with administrative leadership by senior manager R.K. Vadindra Acharya.
Special rituals and religious programmes have been scheduled on all days of the celebrations. On February 19, marking the Pattabhisheka day, the festivities will commence at 7.00 am with Ashtottara Sahita Sahasra Kalasha Ksheerabhisheka to the Brindavana of Sri Raghavendra Swamiji. At 11.00 am, the Swarna Padukas of the saint will be ceremoniously placed on a golden throne, followed by a traditional Pattabhisheka ritual accompanied by a showering of flowers.
Mahamangalarati will be offered thereafter, and prasada (annasantarpane) will be served to thousands of devotees. Evening programmes will include religious discourses, devotional singing, and cultural presentations.
On February 24, commemorating the Jayanthi, a special Laksha Pushparchane will be offered at 11.30 am to the Brindavana of Sri Raghavendra Swamiji for universal welfare. At the request of Sri Subudhendra Theertha, the ritual will be performed by His Holiness Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha of Udupi Pejawar Mutt. The announcement was made by Sri Nandakishore Acharya.
