On Glioblastoma Awareness Day, SBF Healthcare and Research Centre reiterates the urgency of awareness required to battle GBM, the deadliest forms of cancer

Bangalore, July 17, 2019

July 17 being observed as Glioblastoma Awareness Day by the US Senate and National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS), SBF Healthcare and Research Centre took it upon itself to talk about one of the, if not the, deadliest forms of cancer that exists today. Glioblastoma Multiforme or GBM, which affects parts of the brain and spinal cord, is aggressive and spreads rapidly, and is known to have a low survival rate. In fact, as per data, it has only about 1% five-year survival rate and only about 5 % patients survive beyond a year.

According to the National Brain Tumor Society, patients with Glioblastoma typically have aaverage high rate of recurrence, relapsing in about 90% of patients survival rate of 15 months. It also has a Glioblastoma tumors are highly malignant because the cells reproduce quickly. They can be difficult to treat because the tumors contain so many different types of cells, and they increase in frequency with age and affect more men than women. Over decades, multiple forms of therapy have been used and most of which have failed, if not all, not to mention that these therapies come with innumerable side effects and can cost someone over USD 200,000.

It is therefore most important for us to learn and share as much as we can about this deadly disease.

The good news however is that all hope is not lost, and there is a sliver of light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to SPMF (Sequentially Programmed Magnetic Field) Therapy, which is a non-invasive and painless therapy, SBF has been able to successfully treat over 300 patients so far.

Speaking about GBM Awareness Day, WgCdr(Dr) V.G. Vasishta (Retd.) said “Glioblastoma is amongst the most malignant brain tumors known to man with a very dismal survival rate of 14-15 month. This is after radiation, chemotherapy. The Glioblastoma awareness day will add hope to all patients all over the world who are suffering from this deadly disease where there was no cure earlier. With this new technology of SPMF, we have treated a large number of patients with a much higher survival rate and are leading a better quality of life without surgery or radiation. Patients who have been treated 5-6 years ago are still living well. This will be a hallmark in treatment of brain tumors”.

SPMF uses sequentially programm regenerate lost cartilage for arthritis and it helps shrinkthetumor cells in the case of cancer, and has no side effects. This treatment, which costs an individual less than US10,000, has a survival rate of over 60% in the first year, and a 30% survival rate for over five years. SPMF is considered to be the most effective treatment for Glioblastoma so far, and of course exponentially less expensive when compared to other magnets to regenerate or degenerate cells in the body. It is used to treatment methods.
