Launch of 4D VR Hot Air Ballooning Experience for the very first time in India

Bengaluru, 21st Dec, 2018:

Deccan Airsports proudly presents India’s first 4D VR Hot Air Ballooning Experience. This Virtual Reality Hot Air Balloon Flight represents the latest integration of technology into thrilling Aviation experience and is completely immersive with users as Pilot in command.

They have designed and built this VR Hot Air Balloon rig in partnership with Digital Jalebl, who are one of the leading VR development companies in the country. The VR Hot Air Balloon Flight takes virtual reality experience to a whole new level by stimulating the person’s senses of sight, sound and touch. Teleporting users to our custom designed virtual environments such as:

(1) Swiss Alps (2) Arabian Desert (3) Lunar Terrain (4) Western Ghats

Using an actual hot air balloon, the experience allows the user to control the balloon’s burner system with their retrofitted burner controls. Once inside the basket, the user interacts with the rig in a 1:1, tactile way, which allows them to reach out and interact with all of the hot air balloon control elements within reach. Our hot air balloon basket includes bench seating and its motion is simulated In VR in real time. Also in the basket are fuel tanks that virtually ignite the burners for lift, therefore users independently control trajectory of the flight and can also see original gauges providing accurate telemetry of the hot air balloon in flight.

360° Sound Design responds to user’s position and movements in the basket rig. Radiant heat activates when the physical burner control lever is pulled. Players will see the burner flames in VR while feeling the heat in the real world.

The VR rig serves as a critical component in the immersive motion to trick the brain into feeling it is thousands of feet above the surface, while only lifted few inches off the ground. This VR hot air balloon will facilitate flying experiences to both young and elderly whilst being in the comfort of the ground.

Deccan Airsports embarks on a mission to instil a sense of passion and inspire new minds! This launch is in line with the company’s vision to get people excited and engage In Aerial activities in India. They hope to further develop this product to a sophisticated Hot Air Balloon training simulator which will be capable of training new hot air balloon pilots in the country and also impart a new skill to the adventure seeking demography.

ಮೇಕೆದಾಟು ಯೋಜನೆ : ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಂಸದರ ಸಭೆ

ನವದೆಹಲಿ : ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಾರ್ತೆ :: ಕಾವೇರಿ ನದಿಯ ಮೇಕೆದಾಟು ಯೋಜನೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಂಸದರ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ರಸಗೊಬ್ಬರ ಖಾತೆ ಸಚಿವ ಡಿ.ವಿ.ಸದಾನಂದಗೌಡ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಲ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಸಚಿವ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಸಚಿವ ಡಿ.ವಿ.ಸದಾನಂದ ಗೌಡ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಕೆದಾಟು ಯೋಜನೆಯ ರೂಪರೇಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತ್ರುತವಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಜಲ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಸಚಿವ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮತ್ತು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಜನವಸತಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮುಳಗಡೆಯಾಗುವ ಯೋಜನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಜಲವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಮಾತ್ರ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವ್ಯವಸಾಯದ ಒಂದು ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ನೀರು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಿದ್ದಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ವಿಸ್ತ್ರುತ ಯೋಜನಾ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಅಂಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕಿಂತ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ,ಕೇವಲ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಸಂಸದರು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಸ್ತು ಚಿತ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಸಂಸದರಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಅನುಷ್ಟಾನ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಸಂಸದರಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಂಸದರು ವಾಸ್ತವ ಚಿತ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಬಳಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಡಿ.ವಿ.ಸದಾನಂದ ಗೌಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜಲ-ನೆಲ-ಭಾಷೆ -ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಂಸದರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಪಕ್ಷಬೇದ ಮರೆತು ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೂ ಸಹ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ತಿಂಗಳ 27 ರಂದು ( ಗುರುವಾರ) ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಬಳಿ ಸಂಸದರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

Mekadatu Plan: Meeting of MPs from Karnataka at New Delhi

New Delhi: The Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers DV Sadananda Gowda on Thursday held a meeting with the MPs from Karnataka on the Mekedatu Project.

Karnataka government was led by Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar.

Shivakumar informed that the Mekedatu project is the low cost project. The implementation of this scheme is to extend drinking water to people and generate hydroelectricity mainly for use in Bangalore. The water from the proposed dam will not be used to irrigate even one acre of agricultural land in Karnataka, he said presenting the detailed project report prepared by the Karnataka government.

This project will benefit Tamil Nadu more than Karnataka. The central government on this basis has permitted the project, and explained to the MPs that the Tamil Nadu government and the Tamil Nadu MPs are opposing to the project for political reasons. He asked the MPs from Karnataka to put forth the state’s views in the Parliament and counter the Tamil Nadu MPs.

Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda said, “We are also working on the implementation of the project. The MPs from the state fought unitedly earlier when the issue of state was concerned. We will also fight unitedly for the implementation of Mekedatu project, MPs decided first step they will protest in front of Gandhi statue in Parliament on December 27.

The MPs discussed the next course of action on the Mahadai river water distribution too during the meeting.
