Seven-year programme to modernise lending, cloud infrastructure, data systems and cybersecurity

Bengaluru, September 11, 2026: Can Fin Homes Ltd. has unveiled Project Tejas, a seven-year, ₹296.95-crore, enterprise-wide digital transformation programme aimed at modernising its technology infrastructure, strengthening core business operations and creating a scalable digital platform for future growth.
TEJAS stands for “Tech Enhanced Journey for Agility & Scalability.”

The initiative marks a major step in the company’s transition towards a digitally integrated operating model, bringing its core applications and enterprise systems together through a modern, API-led and scalable technology architecture.

Project Tejas covers several key areas of the home-finance business, including loan origination and management, collections, deposits, finance and accounts, document management, risk management, asset-liability management, human resources and enterprise reporting.The transformation is supported by cloud infrastructure, SD-WAN connectivity, Network Operations Centres, Security Operations Centres, API management and disaster-recovery capabilities.

“Project Tejas represents a fundamental transformation in the way Can Fin Homes operates, serves customers and prepares for future growth. He added that the company would focus on using technology responsibly to simplify customer journeys, strengthen risk management and enable faster, data-driven decision-making.
At the customer and business levels, Project Tejas is designed to transform the end-to-end home-loan process through digitised workflows, faster processing, reduced manual intervention and real-time operational visibility.

The digital platform integrates more than 25 fintech partners, enabling services such as instant credit-bureau checks, Account Aggregator-based financial-data access, rule-based credit assessment, digital collections and customer self-service. Real-time application-status updates and dashboards for risk, operations and sales are also part of the platform.

According to the company, these integrated capabilities are expected to create a more connected lending ecosystem, improving operational speed, security and scalability.

The transformation programme has been implemented with the support of a network of consulting, technology and implementation partners. PwC has supported transformation advisory, business-process optimisation, change management and Programme Management Office governance, while KPMG has provided assistance with implementation, risk, compliance, and functional and technical areas.
IBM India Pvt. Ltd., the system integrator, is leading the end-to-end technical integration covering applications, infrastructure, cloud, networking and cybersecurity.

The wider technology ecosystem includes Pennant Technologies for loan origination, loan management and collections; Kiya for deposits; Astral Infor for finance and accounts; Newgen for document management; Knight FinTech for borrowing, investments, risk and asset-liability management; Trustt for Aadhaar Data Vault; Workline for HRMS; and Shephertz for enterprise reporting.

On the technology-infrastructure side, Amazon Web Services supports cloud and API architecture, while Microsoft supports email and collaboration. Fortinet and CtrlS support SD-WAN; Motadata is associated with Network Operations and IT Service Management; and Bloo and Arcon support Security Operations Centre and identity and access-management capabilities.

Can Fin Homes is also gradually introducing AI-enabled capabilities in areas such as document processing, bank-statement analysis, fraud-control checks and employee services. The company is further assessing the use of AI in underwriting, collections, customer service and management decision support.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: 2023ರ ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ದಲಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಛಲವಾದಿ ಸಂಗಮ, ಎಸ್‌ಸಿಎಸ್‌ಪಿ ಮತ್ತು ಟಿಎಸ್‌ಪಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾದ ಸುಮಾರು ₹54,000 ಕೋಟಿ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಐದು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ದಲಿತರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೀಸಲಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಆಶಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ ನೀಡದಿರುವುದು, ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾಗಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸದಿರುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯಗಳ ಆಧುನೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ದಲಿತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ.

ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ವಿಶೇಷ ಘಟಕ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಅನುದಾನ ಒದಗಿಸದೆ ದಲಿತರ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿನ್ನಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಛಲವಾದಿ ಸಂಗಮದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲೂ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ
ಹಿಂದಿನ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಯ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಶೇ.15ರಿಂದ ಶೇ.17ಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡದ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಶೇ.3ರಿಂದ ಶೇ.7ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಟೀಕಿಸಿದೆ.

ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನೀತಿಗಳು ದಲಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿವೆ. ಇದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ದ್ವಂದ್ವ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದೆ.

ಒಳಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಲಗೈ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆಯಾಗುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪವನ್ನು ಸಂಘಟನೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಾಗಮೋಹನ್ ದಾಸ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಏಕಸದಸ್ಯ ಆಯೋಗದ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳ ಆಧಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮರುಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದೆ.

ದಲಿತ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತು
ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಲಿತ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅಪರಾಧ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಆತಂಕಕಾರಿ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹೊಕ್ರಾಣಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಅಶ್ವಿನಿ ಅವರ ಸಾವಿನ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಲಿಂಗಸುಗೂರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಕರಡಕಲ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ರಾಣಿಮಾ ಅವರ ಅನುಮಾನಾಸ್ಪದ ಸಾವಿನ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿರುವ ಸಂಘಟನೆ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದೆ.

Expert Highlights Importance of Early Detection in Oral Cancer

Bengaluru, September 10, 2026: Dr. Nadeem Hoda, Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Oncology, delivered an informative talk on “Oral Cancer at a Glance” at The Oxford College of Engineering, Bengaluru, on 9th Wednesday.

The session was organised as part of the ICMR-sponsored workshop “From Code to Clinic: AI-Driven Disease Prediction,” jointly organised by the Departments of MCA and Biotechnology.

Dr. Hoda provided participants with an overview of oral cancer, covering its major risk factors, early warning signs, diagnosis and the importance of timely medical intervention. He emphasised the need for greater awareness and regular screening, particularly among individuals exposed to known risk factors.

ಸರ್ಕೊಲೈಫ್ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಸರ್ವಿಸ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಮುಂಬೈ ಮತ್ತು ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರುವ ಎರಡು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಳಕೆಯ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತ ತಲುಪಿದ ಯೂನಿಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸುವ ಬದಲು ನವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಮರುಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ನಜಾರಾ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜೀಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿತೀಶ್ ಮಿತ್ತರ್ಸೈನ್ ಅವರು, “ಪ್ರತಿ ಗ್ರಾಹಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿ ವಹಿವಾಟಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತವಾಗುವ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಮಾದರಿಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾಗಿವೆ. ಸರ್ಕೊಲೈಫ್ ಹೊರನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಎಸಿ ಚಂದಾದಾರಿಕೆ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡರೂ, ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಡೇಟಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಬಲವಾದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಫ್ಲೀಟ್‌ನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದಂತೆ ಅದರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯೂ ಸುಧಾರಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಈ ಮಾದರಿಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

2023ರ ಅಂತ್ಯದ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಮುಂಬೈನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಸರ್ಕೊಲೈಫ್, ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡೂವರೆ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಭಾರತೀಯ ನಗರಗಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಸ್ಟೋರೆಂಟ್‌ಗಳು, ಹೋಟೆಲ್‌ಗಳು, ಜಿಮ್‌ಗಳು, ಸಲೂನ್‌ಗಳು, ಕೋ-ಲಿವಿಂಗ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಣ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳು ಸೇರಿವೆ.

ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ₹40.45 ಕೋಟಿ ಬಂಡವಾಳವನ್ನು ಫ್ಲೀಟ್ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ, ಹೊಸ ನಗರಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ, ಆಂತರಿಕ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವಾ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಐ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಐಒಟಿ ಮುನ್ಸೂಚಕ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಟ್ವಿನ್ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಕಂಪನಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
