ಕಳ್ಳರು ಇಬ್ಬರು… ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಮ್ಮದು!

ಯಾರೋ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪುಣ್ಯಾತ್ಮರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಮಾಜದ ವಾಸ್ತವವನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿಡುವ ಈ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟುಸತ್ಯವೂ ಇದೆ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವ್ಯಂಗ್ಯವೂ ಇದೆ.

ಕಳ್ಳತನಕ್ಕೂ ಎರಡು ಮುಖಗಳಿವೆ. ಒಂದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಳ್ಳತನ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಳ್ಳತನ!

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಳ್ಳ:
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಳ್ಳ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಣ, ವಾಚ್, ಪರ್ಸ್, ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಬೆಲೆಬಾಳುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಾದರೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.

ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಳ್ಳ:
ಆದರೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಳ್ಳನ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಅಷ್ಟು ಸರಳವಲ್ಲ. ಆತ ಕದಿಯುವುದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೇಬಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಣವನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು!

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು, ಯುವಕರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ಕನಸನ್ನು, ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು, ಬಡವರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು, ಮಧ್ಯಮ ವರ್ಗದ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರ ಬದುಕಿನ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನೇ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇಂತಹ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಬಹುದು. ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ ಕೇಳಬಹುದು. ಜನರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ವೇದಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ದೊರೆತ ನಂತರ ಜನರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಅದು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ದ್ರೋಹವಲ್ಲವೇ?

ಇಬ್ಬರ ನಡುವಿನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಳ್ಳ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಳ್ಳನನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ಮತದಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ನೀಡುತ್ತೀರಿ!

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಳ್ಳನಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನೀವು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಇರುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನೇ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಬಾರದು?

ಮತ ಎಂಬುದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಹಕ್ಕಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಮುಂದಿನ ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬದುಕಿನ ದಿಕ್ಕನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಅಸ್ತ್ರ.

ಜಾತಿ, ಧರ್ಮ, ಹಣ, ಉಡುಗೊರೆ, ಸುಳ್ಳು ಭರವಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಆಮಿಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಮರುಳಾಗದೆ, ಜನಪರವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಮತದಾರನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ.

ನೆನಪಿರಲಿ, ಕಳ್ಳನೊಬ್ಬ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೇಬನ್ನು ಖಾಲಿ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ತಪ್ಪಾದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಲವು ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನೇ ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮತ ಚಲಾಯಿಸುವ ಮೊದಲು ಯೋಚಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ, ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೊಡುವವರೂ ನಾವೇ, ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇದೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಮತ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ನಮ್ಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯೂ ಹೌದು.

Special Annadana, Religious Processions and Bharatanatyam Performance at Jayanagar Rayara Mutt

Bengaluru: The Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, located in Jayanagar 5th Block, witnessed a series of special religious and cultural programmes on Thursday, attracting hundreds of devotees.

In accordance with the directions of His Holiness Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripadangalavaru, the programmes were organised under the leadership of the Mutt’s senior administrator, Sri R.K. Vadindra Acharya.

The day’s celebrations began with special poojas and religious rituals performed by the priests. This was followed by a special Annadana (community meal) service, through which prasada was served to thousands of devotees.

The evening witnessed several traditional religious celebrations, including Pallakki Utsava, Rathotsava, Gajavahanotsava, Thottilu Seva and Ashtavadhana.

Adding a cultural touch to the celebrations, students of Shivalaya Natya Mandira presented an impressive Bharatanatyam performance under the direction of Vidushi Manjula Jagadish. The classical dance recital was one of the highlights of the evening.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri Nandakishoracharya said that the special religious services, Annadana and cultural programmes were conducted as part of the Mutt’s ongoing spiritual and devotional activities.

Hundreds of devotees participated in the celebrations and sought the blessings of Sri Hari, Vayu and Gurugalu.

ದುಬೈನಲ್ಲಿ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 23ರಿಂದ 26ರವರೆಗೆ HVACR ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ; 100ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಕರು ಭಾಗಿ

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅ. 29: ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೀತಲೀಕರಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ 2035ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ದುಪ್ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಹವಾನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ, ಶೈತ್ಯೀಕರಣ, ಗಾಳಿಯ ಸಂಚಾರ, ಇಂಧನ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಇಂಧನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (IEA) ಮುನ್ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರಾಚ್ಯ, ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಏಷ್ಯಾ (MEASA) ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ HVACR ಉದ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವಾದ ‘HVACR ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್’ ದುಬೈನಲ್ಲಿ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 23ರಿಂದ 26ರವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ದುಬೈ ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಟ್ರೇಡ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್‌ನ ಟ್ರೇಡ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಅರೆನಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ಇಂಧನ ದಕ್ಷತೆ, ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಶೀತಲೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ನವೀನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ದೇಶಗಳ 100ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, 12,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಉದ್ಯಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ. ತಾಪನ, ಶೀತಲೀಕರಣ, ಗಾಳಿಯ ಸಂಚಾರ, ಒಳಾಂಗಣ ಗಾಳಿಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ 5,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿವೆ.

ತಜ್ಞ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯ ಅಂದಾಜಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, MEASA ಪ್ರದೇಶದ HVACR ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯ 2030ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ 18.4 ಬಿಲಿಯನ್ ಅಮೆರಿಕನ್ ಡಾಲರ್ ತಲುಪುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ.

“ಇಂಧನ ದಕ್ಷತೆ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಉತ್ತಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯ HVACR ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಸೇವೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ತಯಾರಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮದ ವಿವಿಧ ಪಾಲುದಾರರ ನಡುವೆ ಸಹಯೋಗ ಅಗತ್ಯ,” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ತಯಾರಕರಿಗೆ ಈ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರಾಚ್ಯ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಪಾಲುದಾರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಒದಗಿಸಲಿದೆ.

ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವುಗಳೆಂದರೆ ಡೇಟಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ನಿರಂತರ ಶೀತಲೀಕರಣ, ಹಳೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ HVAC ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ನವೀಕರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಇಂಗಾಲದ ಹೊರಸೂಸುವಿಕೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು, ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ HVAC ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಶೀತಕಗಳ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಪಾಲನೆ.

AHRI ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ದುಂಡುಮೇಜಿನ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೀತಕಗಳ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ, ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟುಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ASHRAE ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವ ತರಬೇತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು, ಡೇಟಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಧನ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂಧನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆ, ಇಂಗಾಲದ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಕೆಯ ದಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ISO 50001 ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ತಜ್ಞರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಲ್ ಶಿರಾವಿ ಗ್ರೂಪ್‌ನ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವ ಲೆಮಿನಾರ್ ಗ್ಲೋಬಲ್, ಮೆಹ್ತಾ ಟ್ಯೂಬ್ಸ್‌ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯತಂತ್ರದ ವಿತರಣಾ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇದರಡಿ MEXFLOW ಬ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್‌ನ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಕೊಳವೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪೈಪ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಯುಎಇಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮಾರಾಟ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

IKEA EXPANDS IN BENGALURU, SET TO OPEN SECOND STORE AT KONANAKUNTE CROSS

80,000-sq-ft city store to bring over 5,200 products closer to South Bengaluru customers

BENGALURU, October 29, 2026: IKEA India is set to open its second store in Bengaluru on November 5 at Purva Zentech on Kanakapura Main Road, bringing its range of home furnishing products and services closer to customers in South Bengaluru and surrounding areas.

Spread across 80,000 sq. ft., the new store is located within walking distance of Konanakunte Cross Metro Station. It will offer more than 5,200 products, including over 3,000 items available for immediate takeaway. Customers can also order from IKEA’s complete range of over 7,000 products through the store, website, mobile app and Shop by Phone service.

The store also features a 100-seater IKEA Restaurant serving Swedish favourites and local food options, allowing shoppers to take a break during their visit.

Patrik Antoni, CEO of IKEA India, said Bengaluru had played an important role in the company’s journey in the country. Over the past five years, IKEA has gained insights into local customers’ lifestyles, preferences and changing home furnishing needs.

He said the new store had been designed around these insights and marked another milestone in IKEA’s efforts to improve accessibility and convenience for customers in the city.

FOCUS ON CHANGING HOME FURNISHING NEEDS

The new store aims to address the diverse housing needs of South Bengaluru, where traditional family homes coexist with modern apartments and compact living spaces.

With hybrid working becoming increasingly common, homes are now expected to accommodate multiple activities, including work, family time, hobbies and social gatherings. This has increased the demand for multifunctional furniture, practical storage solutions and space-saving designs.

Outdoor spaces such as balconies and terraces are also gaining importance, with residents transforming them into gardening corners, reading spaces and areas for entertaining guests.

The Konanakunte Cross store will feature a range of room settings and home furnishing ideas designed to help customers make better use of their living spaces. The displays will offer solutions for different household requirements, budgets and personal preferences, whether customers are setting up a new home, reorganising existing spaces or looking for functional furniture.

To make the shopping experience more convenient, IKEA will also offer services including home furnishing planning, delivery, assembly and installation.

BENGALURU, October 28, 2026: In a gesture of compassion and solidarity with children battling cancer, veteran Kannada actor Srinath visited Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in Bengaluru on Wednesday and distributed 100 high-quality blankets and fruit packets to young patients.

The blankets and fruit packets were donated by philanthropist Firoz Sattar Sait, owner of Safina Plaza and Safina Tower, as part of an initiative to bring comfort and encouragement to children undergoing cancer treatment.

During the visit, Srinath interacted warmly with the children and their parents, spending time with the young patients and offering words of encouragement and blessings.
