ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ 100 ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಹೊದಿಕೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಪ್ಯಾಕೆಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಫೀನಾ ಪ್ಲಾಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸಫೀನಾ ಟವರ್‌ನ ಮಾಲೀಕರೂ, ಸಮಾಜಸೇವಕರೂ ಆದ ಫಿರೋಜ್ ಸತ್ತಾರ್ ಸೈಟ್ ಅವರು ಈ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ದೇಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು.

Awards honour outstanding achievers with disabilities; cash prizes of up to ₹2 lakh on offer

Bengaluru, October 28, 2026: CavinKare Pvt. Ltd. and Ability Foundation have extended the nomination deadline for the 25th edition of the CavinKare Ability Awards 2027 to November 1, giving individuals another opportunity to nominate themselves or recognise the achievements of others who have overcome challenges and excelled in their respective fields.

The awards honour exceptional individuals with disabilities who have made significant contributions to society through their achievements, determination and leadership. Nominations can be submitted through the official websites, http://www.abilityfoundation.org and http://www.cavinkare.com.

The CavinKare Ability Award for Eminence carries a cash prize of ₹2 lakh, while each of the three CavinKare Ability Mastery Awards offers ₹1 lakh. Recipients will also receive a citation and a trophy in recognition of their achievements.

Instituted in 2003, the CavinKare Ability Awards have recognised 106 achievers from across India. Over the years, the initiative has highlighted inspiring stories of individuals who have challenged stereotypes, broken barriers and demonstrated that disability need not limit talent, ambition or achievement.

The awards feature two categories. The CavinKare Ability Award for Eminence recognises an individual with a disability who has founded an organisation that has made a transformative social impact. The CavinKare Ability Mastery Awards honour individuals with disabilities who have demonstrated excellence and distinction in their chosen fields.

Beyond recognising individual accomplishments, the awards seek to promote inclusion, challenge prevailing perceptions of disability and encourage greater opportunities for persons with disabilities across society.

Eligible nominees must be Indian nationals with disabilities recognised under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Both self-nominations and nominations submitted by others are accepted.

The selection process involves multiple stages, including application screening, interviews, field visits and a final evaluation by a distinguished jury.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಪಾವತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸೇವಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಪೇಟಿಎಂನ ಮಾತೃಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಒನ್97 ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಕೇಷನ್ಸ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್, 2027ನೇ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವರ್ಷದ ಎರಡನೇ ತ್ರೈಮಾಸಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 2026ಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಂಡ ತ್ರೈಮಾಸಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ₹225 ಕೋಟಿ ತೆರಿಗೆ ನಂತರದ ನಿವ್ವಳ ಲಾಭ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಬಡ್ಡಿ, ತೆರಿಗೆ, ಸವಕಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭೋಗ್ಯ ವೆಚ್ಚಗಳಿಗೂ ಮುನ್ನದ ಗಳಿಕೆ (EBITDA) ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.90ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ₹270 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ.

ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ತ್ರೈಮಾಸಿಕವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾದ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕ EBITDA ಇದಾಗಿದೆ. EBITDA ಮಾರ್ಜಿನ್ ಕೂಡ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಶೇ.10ರ ಗಡಿ ತಲುಪಿದೆ.

ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ವಹಿವಾಟಿನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ, ಆದಾಯ ಗಳಿಕೆಯ ಹೊಸ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ (AI) ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬಳಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿರುವುದು ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾರಣಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಇದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಆದಾಯ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷದ ಇದೇ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಶೇ.28ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ₹2,648 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪೇಮೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಇನ್‌ಫ್ರಾಸ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಚರ್ ಡೆವಲಪ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಫಂಡ್ (PIDF) ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಧನವನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ, ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಆದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.33ರಷ್ಟು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ EBITDA ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪಾವತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿ

ಪೇಟಿಎಂನ ಪಾವತಿ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದಲ್ಲೂ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ. PIDF ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಧನವನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿದ ಹೋಲಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವ್ವಳ ಪಾವತಿ ಆದಾಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ ಶೇ.21ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ₹644 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಪಾವತಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಜಿನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿನ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗಿದೆ.

ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಚಂದಾದಾರಿಕೆ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಪಾವತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಬಳಕೆಯೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾದ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷದ ಇದೇ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ 27 ಲಕ್ಷದಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ, ಒಟ್ಟು 1.64 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ.

ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಆದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.49ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆ

ಸಾಲ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ವಿತರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಕಂಪನಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಆದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣನೀಯ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಆದಾಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.49ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ₹912 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ.

ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿ ಸಾಲಗಳು, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸಾಲಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪೇಟಿಎಂ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್‌ಪೇಡ್ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿವೆ. ಈಕ್ವಿಟಿ ಬ್ರೋಕಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಆದಾಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ, ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.35ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ 8.8 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ.

UPI ಬಳಕೆದಾರರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ

ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಪಾವತಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಪೇಟಿಎಂ, ಸತತ ಆರನೇ ತ್ರೈಮಾಸಿಕದಲ್ಲೂ ಗ್ರಾಹಕ UPI ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕಂಪನಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಪೇಟಿಎಂ UPI ವಹಿವಾಟು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.42ರಷ್ಟು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಉದ್ಯಮದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ದರಕ್ಕಿಂತ 2.2 ಪಟ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಾಸಿಕ ವಹಿವಾಟು ನಡೆಸುವ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರ (MTU) ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷದ ಇದೇ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಒಂದು ಕೋಟಿಯಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ 8.5 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರುವ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕ ಏರಿಕೆ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಫೈನಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ರ ಶ್ರೇಯಾಂಕಿತ ಆಕಾಶ್, ಮೂರನೇ ಶ್ರೇಯಾಂಕದ ಆಂಟನಿ ಆರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಗೇಮ್‌ಗಳ ಒಟ್ಟು 406–339 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳ ಅಂತರದಿಂದ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ 67 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಮೊದಲ ಗೇಮ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶ್ 205 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿದರೆ, ಆಂಟನಿ 160 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತರಾದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶ್ 45 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳ ಮುನ್ನಡೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದರು. ಎರಡನೇ ಗೇಮ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆಟವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ ಅವರು 201 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು. ಆಂಟನಿ 179 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿದರು. ಎರಡೂ ಗೇಮ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ ಆಕಾಶ್, ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ದಡ ಸೇರಿದರು.

ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ನಡೆದ ನಾಕೌಟ್ ಸುತ್ತಿನ ಮೊದಲ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶ್, ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಶ್ರೇಯಾಂಕದ ಸತೀಶ್ ಎ.ವಿ. ಅವರನ್ನು 417–312 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳಿಂದ ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಫೈನಲ್‌ಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 105 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳ ಭಾರಿ ಅಂತರದ ಗೆಲುವು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ನಾಕೌಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಂಟನಿ ಆರ್ ಅವರು ವಿಜಯ್ ಪಂಜಾಬಿ ಅವರನ್ನು 326–276 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳಿಂದ ಮಣಿಸಿ ಫೈನಲ್‌ಗೆ ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಪಡೆದರು. 50 ಪಿನ್‌ಗಳ ಅಂತರದ ಗೆಲುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದ ಆಂಟನಿ, ಅಂತಿಮ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶ್ ಅವರ ಸವಾಲನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದರು.

ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳು

ಟೂರ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಹಲವು ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಆರು ಗೇಮ್‌ಗಳ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ 192.90 ಸರಾಸರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕಾಶ್ ಅಶೋಕ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮೊದಲ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದರು. 18 ಗೇಮ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 185.00 ಸರಾಸರಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

225ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ಕೋರ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆನ್ ರಿಚರ್ಡ್ಸ್ ಎರಡು ಬಾರಿ ಈ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದರು. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ 12 ಗೇಮ್‌ಗಳ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 161.67 ಸರಾಸರಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರೀಮಲ್ ಜೆ. ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಸರಾಸರಿಯ ಗೌರವಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾದರು.

Olympians, National Champions to Make a Splash at Nettakallappa Swimming Championship

Bengaluru, Oct. 28: Bengaluru is set to host one of India’s premier swimming competitions, with the Nettakallappa Swimming Championship 2026 scheduled for October 31 and November 1 at the Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre (NAC) in South Bengaluru.

The two-day championship, scheduled from 10 am to 7 pm, will bring together around 350 top swimmers from across the country, including celebrated Indian swimmers and Olympians Srihari Nataraj and Sajan Prakash. The event promises high-intensity competition, thrilling finishes and a showcase of India’s swimming talent.

The Swimming Federation of India announced the event at a press conference held at the Press Club of Bengaluru on Wednesday.

A major attraction of this year’s championship will be the SKINS event, a knockout-style racing format in which swimmers compete in successive elimination rounds, testing their speed, endurance and competitive strategy. The organisers describe it as a unique opportunity for spectators to watch Indian Olympians compete in this exciting format.

With total cash prizes exceeding ₹15 lakh, the championship aims to recognise outstanding performances and encourage competitive excellence. A new highlight this year is the introduction of the Most Valuable Swimmer (MVS) awards, carrying a combined prize purse of ₹2 lakh for the top male and female performers across the events.

The championship draws inspiration from the legacy of K.A. Nettakallappa and his vision of empowering young people through sport. Over the years, it has developed into a prominent platform for elite swimmers, national champions and emerging talent to demonstrate their abilities.

Monal Chokshi, Secretary General of the Swimming Federation of India, will attend as the chief guest on October 31 at 4.30 pm at the Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre.

With the participation of leading swimmers, substantial prize money and the introduction of the MVS awards, the championship is expected to deliver an exciting weekend of aquatic sporting action while providing a platform to celebrate excellence and inspire the next generation of Indian swimmers.
