ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 10/05/2023 ರ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉಪ್ಪಾರ ಸಮಾಜದ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯ “ಬಿಜೆಪಿ” ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಬಾರದೆಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. 2008 ರಿಂದ 2013 ರವರೆಗೆ 2020 ರಿಂದ 2023 ರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಉಪ್ಪಾರ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕವಾಗಿ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ತಮಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೇಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅನೇಕ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ : ಭಗೀರಥ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಣೆ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ, ಎರಡು ಬಾರಿ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಜದ ಮುಖಂಡರು ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಉಪ್ಪಾರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕಾಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ವಿವಿಧ ನಿಗಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಹೀಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವಾರು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಜೆ.ಡಿ.ಎಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಸಹ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಸಿದೆ ಆದರೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಕಳೆದ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಈ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿದ್ದರೂ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೇ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೇಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷವೂ ಕಳೆದ 3 ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರದಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ. ಪುಟ್ಟರಂಗ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಬಿ.ಜೆ.ಪಿ ಯವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಲು ಸ್ಥಳಿಯರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡದೇ ಪ್ರಭಾವಿ ಮಂತ್ರಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ.ಸೋಮಣ್ಣ ರನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶೋಷಿತ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ತುಳಿಯುವುದೇ ಆಗಿದೆ, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಮಾಜದ ಬಂಧುಗಳ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ.ಜೆ.ಪಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬೆಂಬಳಿಸಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಎಸ್. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉಪ್ಪಾರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಯಮಿತಿ, ಪ್ರೆಸ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಥಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ 40-50 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಬಗೆಹರಿಯದ ಬಗಹುಕುಂ ಸಾಗುವಳ ಸಕ್ರಮ, ವಸತಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ, ರೈತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ, ಬೆಲೆಏರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಬದುಕು ಮೂರಾ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವುಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಜನ ಸಮಾಜ ಶಾಸಕರು ಗೆದ್ದುಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮತಬಾಂಧವರು ಬಹುಜನ ಸಮಾಜ ಪಾರ್ಟಿಯ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿನಮ್ರ ಮನವಿ.
