AIMS INSTITUTES, Bangalore celebrated its PG Graduation day on Saturday, the 29th October 2022 on campus.

Dr. J.T.Devaraju, the  Registrar, Evaluation of Bangalore University was the Chief Guest.

The celebrations begun with the academic procession in which the dignitaries                                 Dr. J.T.Devaraju, Registrar Evaluation of Bangalore University, Dr. Kiran Reddy,   The Founder Principal & CEO of the AIMS Institute, Dr. Jayapraksah Reddy, Registrar, The Heads of all PG Programs, faculty members, meritorious students and all graduands were escorted with the accompaniment of the college band into the venue of the function. The dignitaries adorned the dais and after the customary invocation song and lighting the lamp.  Dr. Kiran Reddy, The Founder Principal & CEO of the Institute welcomed all the dignitaries, invitees, parents, faculty and graduands. Further she urged the graduating students to inculcate the core skills including value systems learnt in this Instituteboth in life and career to be successful in all ventures to be taken up in their life. She declared the graduation ceremony open and in her presidential address she congratulated the graduands to be a valuable asset of the nation by utilising their knowledge and skills pursued in this AIMS Institutes.

The Chief Guest Dr. J.T.Devaraju, Registrar Evaluation of Bangalore University   in his graduation speech highlighted that, the most advanced technology is taking place in almost all sectors including 5G, which   is going to replace existing jobs is really a great challenge to this generation. He urged yhe graduating students to be equipped with their skill and knowledge to face this change and adjust with new technology and skills. Further he requested the graduating students to remember your teachers and care your parents who dedicated and sacrificed for your future and use valuable knowledge gained from them and be ethical throughout your life.

Mr. Souvik Sadhu, Senior Design Manager, Microsoft, Alumnus of AIMS, the guest of honour addressed the gathering and shared his experiences with the graduating students to achieve success in their life. He asked to cultivate relevant skills along with core knowledge and apply them in their career.

Mr. Nikhil C. Senior manager, Lead Generation India, SAARC, Amazon, Web Services and Alumnus of AIMS was another guest of honour shared his experiences with the graduating students to become a successful in career. Further he asked that never stop to learn and use learned knowledge for betterment of your life.

In this ceremony, 306 students from various programmes like MBA, MCA, M. Com, MSW, M. Com. MFA and PGDM participated and all meritorious students of all programmes were awarded. Dr. Karunakar Reddy, Dr. Sashi Kanth Reddy, Prof. Anitha, Dr. Jayashree Nayar, Dr. Haritha M., Prof. Lakshminarayana S. the Program Director and Program Managers, and Dr. Vijay Bhaskar, Dr. Javad, Dr. Diwakar, Dr.Chaco, Prof. Anushree, Prof. Medini, Prof. Channabasava , Dr. Shivaprasad N.S.  and other PG faculties were participated in the graduation ceremony.

Around 250 Parents were witnessed the grand ceremony and they all expressed joyful gratitude towards faculty members and the management in moulding their wards into professionals of global excellence and appreciated the support and guidance given by     Mr. Gopal Reddy, the Director AIMS and Mr. Priyanadan Reddy, COO of AIMS Institutes.

Connecting Smiles Foundation celebrated Diwali with Orphanage kids in the city

Bengaluru, 26th October 2022: Diwali is the time of the year in which everybody lights up kindness and generosity from their hearts. Connecting Smiles Foundation touched hundreds of little lives this diwali by celebrating a green and meaningful diwali with 400+ kids across 7 orphanages. As a twist to their regular celebrations; a gift of nature was given to each orphanage.

Out of tradition each child received new clothing and diyas, decorations, sweets and lights as a common gift to add flair to the 5 day celebration. In addition the organisation also gifted each child with a plant instilling the love for nature as well as teaching each child about responsibility. Manjula, founder of Aaryan Asharay comments, “I love seeing the children happy and as part of being a guardian I believe it is necessary for each child to have good values, this diwali with the help of Connecting Smiles Foundation, I was able to reach both my goal with ease.”

Sonia Sambhar, founder of Connecting Smiles Foundation shares her views on a green and meaningful diwali, “The true meaning of diwali lies in spreading the light of hope and happiness. The truly mesmerising sparkle in the eyes of the children was what truly made this diwali special for the whole team of connecting smiles foundation.”

Kateel will be in Nanjangud on October 29

Nanjangud: BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel is visiting Nanjangud on October 29 to attend a series of programs.

According to BJP MLA B Harshavardhan, whose initiative has brought the state president to the temple town, said, “In the party meeting to be held, we will be taking his suggestions to strengthen the party more in the constituency.”

The MLA said that Mr. Kateel would be addressing an OBC Morcha meeting, visiting Pourakarmika Colony, and visiting the statue of Ambedkar and Valmiki Bhavan. Later, he would be felicitated. He would also be addressing a public meeting.

Mr. Harshavardhan, referring to an informal visit by Minister for Transport and ST Welfare B Sriramulu to Nanjangud on Thursday, said that , “He has suggested I attend the proposed state-level ST convention to be held in Ballari on November 20. I will be taking people along with me to Ballari on that day. “

MLA Harshavardhan adopts a panther

Nanjangud: BJP MLA B Harshavardhan has adopted the maintenance of a black panther at the Mysuru zoo on the occasion of the release of Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar’s cinema “Gandhada Gudi’ and to commemorate the launch of the Dalit Panthers Movement in India. 

The MLA paid Rs 50,000 to the zoo authorities to adopt the panther for a year from October 28. He gave the details of the adoption in Nanjangud on Thursday. 

Extolling the virtues of the late actor Puneet Rajkumar, Harshavardhan said that the actor, in addition to spreading the glory of Karantaka’s language and culture, had exhibited his deep concern for the conservation of wildlife, the environment, and ecology. His last movie, Gandhada Gudi, was released on Friday. The Dalit Panthers Movement (DPM), an Ambedkarite social organisation to combat caste discrimination, was formed in 1972 in Maharastra. The association’s logo was also a black panther. The movement, inspired by Dr. B R Ambedkar, had fought against atrocities against Dalits and made a mark in India’s politics. In memory of the organisation as well as the actor, on behalf of the people of Nanjangud, the panther has been adopted, he pointed out.

Dr. Rajkumar, the doyen of the Kannada film industry, had a unique relationship with Nanjangud, which is part of Chamarajanagar district. He had visited the temple on many occasions. The entire family of Dr. Rajkumar shares a bond with Nanjangud. The temple town had also served as a filming location for Dr. Rajkumar’s sons Shivarajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar. The government has declared Puneeth Rajkumar’s birthday as Inspiration Day (Spoorti Dina) across the state. His movie Beetada Hoo to Gandhada Gudi reflects his love for nature. Harshavardhan said it is an inspiration to young people. 

The MLA said one should realise that, like human beings, even birds and animals have every right to live. The Mysuru zoo has a variety of animals and birds. They have been managed well. The Mysuru zoo has a special place in the world, he said.
