Demand for selecting SC/ST leader as next CM

If the decision is made to change Shri B.S.Yadiyurappa we strongly urge the BJP National leadership to do social justice to SC/ST people and select a senior SC/ST leader as the next Chief Minister of Karnataka, for the reasons mentioned below

1) The population of Lingayath community in Karnataka is 17% and they have had 9 Chief Ministers including the current CM. About 16% Vokkaligas have had 6 CMs, backward classes have had 5 CMs, Brahmins have had 2 CMs. But SC/ST people who constitute about 24% population have had non as CM so for. Certainly, it is not a social justice.

2) It was just impossible for BJP to have won 104 MLA seats in the last assembly election with just Lingayath and Brahmin votes. BJP emerged as the single largest party because of the strong support it gained mainly from SC/STs.

3) It should be noted that the congress party which enjoyed power for about 50 yrs with the solid support of SC/ST for 5 decades betrayed them by not making even once an SC/ST leader as CM though there were several able SC/ST leaders. Enraged by this betrayal, the SC/ST people have started supporting BJP since the last 3 elections.

4) At present Deputy Chief Minister Shri Govind M Karajola, Social Welfare Minister Shri B Shriramulu and forest minister Shri Aravinda Limbavali happened to be top leaders of SC/ST community in BJP. And all the three leaders are quite popular and command good influence among SC/ST people. Because of their influence, migration of SC/ST Voters towards BJP is gaining strength and speed in our state.

5) Deputy Chief Minister Sri Govinda M Karajola, the senior most leader, is known all over Karnataka as a gentleman politician, sensible and dignified leader, a good administrator with vast experience. He carries all section of people with him and he is acceptable to all people.

6) Social welfare minister Shri. B. Shriramulu is a leader with strong mass appeal and he has natural talent to attract masses of people even from non SC/ST category. He is a good organiser. During 2014 assembly election he formed B.S.R Congress and got 5 MLAS elected only on his personal capacity. It is a clear evidence for his popularity. BJP had announced during 2018 assembly polls that he would Deputy Chief Minister which helped BJP in several constituencies.

7) Forest Minister Shri Aravinda Limbavali who graduated from ABVP is serving well and has good rapport with RSS. He has worked with Shi B.S.Yediyurappa, Shri Sadananda Gowda and late Anantha Kumar since 1990 for strengthening BJP in Karnataka. Mr. Limbavali is known for his good administration. He is also good in formulating election strategy. It should be noted that the BJP high command utilized his services in the recent assembly elections in West Bengal and sometime back in Telangana also.

Therefore, in light of above mentioned facts, if the BJP high command decides to change Shri B.S.Yediyurappa, we strongly urge the BJP national leadership to choose any one from among the three SC/ST leaders, we have mentioned, as the next Chief Minister of Karnataka and do social justice to SC/ST people.

Timely administration of medicine is critical to reduce MMR from excessive bleeding after birth

Dr. Hema Divakar, Vice-Chair of FIGO Pregnancy & NCD committee, emphasizes easy storage and availability of ampoules in hospitals

BELAGAVI: Renowned healthcare leader Dr. Hema Divakar, the Vice-Chair of Pregnancy & NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) Committee, International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), today emphasized the need for easy availability, storage, and timely administration of medicine to prevent excessive bleeding (postpartum hemorrhage) among women after childbirth, which is one of the major reasons for higher maternal mortality rate (MMR) in underdeveloped nations.

Dr. Hema, who is also the CEO of Bengaluru-based ARTIST for Her (Asian Research and Training Institute for Skill Transfer), made the observations here today at the global launch of the RTS Carbetocin Ferring at the Women’s and Children’s Health Unit, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research. To mark the occasion, 1,000 ampoules of Carbetocin (medicine to control postpartum hemorrhage) were handed over for free to the unit.

Such medicines currently available in the country require special storage conditions, including refrigeration. On the contrary, Carbetocin is heat stable and does not require refrigeration, ideal for use in developing and underdeveloped countries where power supply is not stable. This is for the first time that Carbetocin is being administered in India.

When Dr. Hema was the president of FOGSI (Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India), she championed institutionalizing the administration of medicine to prevent bleeding after birth; sensitizing the healthcare providers about the need for refrigerated storage of the medicine and administering it within one minute after delivery. From 2013, under her leadership and with the help of FOGSI champions, the implementation of the protocol for appropriate use of the medicine to prevent postpartum hemorrhage increased to more than 68% in many parts of India through the ‘Helping Mothers Survive’ campaign.

“Today, it is standard protocol for hospitals, both private and government, to administer medicine to women soon after they deliver the baby. This has significantly contributed to the reduction of MMR in India. It is all the more important in our country because over 50% of pregnant women are anemic, and if such women bleed excessively, the incidence of deaths due to postpartum hemorrhage becomes even higher if this medicine is not administered in time,” pointed out Dr.Hema.

Sharing similar views, Dr. S. Shantha Kumari, President, FOGSI, said the organization had intensified its efforts to educate hospitals and train the healthcare workers on various protocols through special campaigns. “It is our objective to minimize postpartum hemorrhage by maximizing the implementation and the practice of the protocol of administering medicine in time,” she added.

Their aim is to decrease dependents ‘draining revenue of people capturing governments, old age especially pensioners, sick managing multiple diseases with medications, and dissidents who protest the supremist’s agenda. Initially released on protestors in Hongkong, India with significant mortality was rereleased with lot of FEAR drama in wuhan with stronger strain. Series of virus targeting different age groups are being released through satellites/aircraft-biotrails/balloons via rains. These are causing death, diseases affecting all organ systems- (strokes, heart attacks, kidney/liver failure, endocrine disorders) ageing, sterility/abortions, fear psychosis, reversal of constitutional human rights all compounded by injections being given as vaccines to create a new world order. Many whose immune system couldn’t fight the corona virus effectively have already died/disabled, nearly all the rest have been exposed with it without symptoms developed natural immunity and don’t need the injections with more significant risk of all complications of covid(infection/inflammation/both) post injections. The mRNA vaccine have risk of genetic modification to ensure chronic dependency on health care system. Only those who had strictly isolated themselves due to fear or immunosuppressive states-post Organ transplants, ongoing chemotherapy, long term immunosuppressive therapy, HIV and other infected might benefit only with nasal/oral vaccine which is not being released. Money laundry between government & NGO should be prevented to save public assets.

ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಡಾ | ದೇವಿಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ವರದಿ , ಐಸಿಎಮ್‌ಆರ್ ( ICMR DELHI ) ಇವರುಗಳು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೌಡ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ಶಿಫಾರಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಟಾಸ್ಕ್ ಫೋರ್ಸ್ ಸಮಿತಿ ಕೂಡ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ಹಸಿರು ನಿಶಾನೆ ತೋರುವ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ .

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ರುಪ್ಸಾ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಈ ತಿಂಗಳ 30 ರ ಒಳಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ , ರುಪ್ಪಾ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದಿನಾಂಕ : 01-08-2021 ರಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಅನುದಾನ ರಹಿತ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡುವುದು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಘ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ .

1 ) 2019-20 , , 2020-21ಸಾಲಿನ ಆರ್.ಟಿ.ಇ ಹಣ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು . ಕಾರಣ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿವೆ .

2 ) ನೈಜ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿವೆ . ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಶುಲ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಕನಿಷ್ಟ ದಾಖಲಾಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೈಜ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು . 2020-21 ಸಾಲಿನ ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 6 ರಿಂದ 8 ಹಾಗೂ 9 ಮತ್ತು 10 ನೇ ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಿಸಲು ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅದೇ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಡುವುದು .

3 ) ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿರುವಂತೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾದ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ 1995 ರಿಂದ 2000 ರವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಗೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಅನುದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿ ಹಾಗೂ 2010 ರವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ ಉಳಿದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು

ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಡೇರಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಉಗ್ರ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ .
