“ARTIST for Her,” a Bengaluru-based premier institute has won the FICCI Healthcare Excellence Award.

Bengaluru-based “ARTIST for Her” has won the “Excellence in Capacity Building Award” at the 13th FICCI Healthcare Excellence Awards 2021 presented today. The Award was bestowed on the organisation for preparing Covid19 warriors nationwide for maternal and child health care in the Covid and post-Covid era through a digital platform.

Asian Research & Training Institute for Skill Transfer (ARTIST) is a premier institute for learning, research and skill transfer in Bengaluru set up by internationally-renowned gynaecologist Dr. Hema Divakar.

Covid19 compelled organisations to relook at how obstetrics and gynaecological care is delivered. ARTIST collaborated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Sciences (RGUHS) to launch a skill development programme for healthcare providers pan-India on 15 April, 2020 through a digital media training platform. The training was provided across Karnataka, Rajasthan, UP, Jharkhand, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Bihar, Manipur, and Uttarkhand.

Over 3,600 staff nurses and frontline healthcare providers were trained, building their competency for safe delivery during Covid19 and beyond. This initiative has positively impacted more than 3 lakh pregnant women in more than 450 small and medium-sized maternity homes trained through this initiative. The use of a digital platform for skill transfer improved efficiency and brought the initiative to scale in a cost effective manner, reducing maternal and child morbidity and mortality.

“On behalf of all our champions and master trainers, we are honoured to receive the FICCI Award for Excellence in Capacity Building for ARTIST for Her. We promise to transform the future of women’s healthcare by digital skill transfer. We have an ambitious mission of training one million healthcare providers in the maternal and child health space,” said Dr Hema Divakar, receiving the award in an online ceremony.

The ceremony hosted by the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) had Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar, Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India officiating as the chief guest, and Mr C K Mishra, former Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, as the guest of honour.

Smon ದಶಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಜರಂಗ ದಳ , ಸಹಿತ ಸಂಘಪರಿವಾರದ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ತಿಕೂಲ ವೀಕ್ಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ , ಮಗಾ ಗೌಡ , ಒಂದು ಶಕ್ತಿ ಸಂಚಲನವ ರಾತ್ರೆ , ಸಭಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು . ಈ ಸಲದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ರಾಜ ದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ , ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ನಗರವ ಹನುಮಾನ್ ಮಂದಿರ , ಬಿಜಾರ , ದಾವಣಗರ , ಗದಗದ ನರಗುಂದ ಮೊರಾವರ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಲವಾರು , ಬಂದೂ , ಕೋವಿಯಂತಹ ಮಾರಕಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು . ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಜರಂಗದಳದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ತ್ರಿಶೂಲವನ್ನೂ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಚೂರಿ ಇರಿತ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಹತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರುವ ಆರೋಪಿಗೂ ES ವೇಳೆ ತಿಕೂಲ ವಿತರಿಸಿರುವುದು ಆತಂಕಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ . ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದ್ವೇಷ ಹರಡುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಚೋದನಾಕಾರಿ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡಹುವ ಬಹಿರಂಗ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಧರ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ವೈಷಮ್ಯ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ , ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶಾಂತಿ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಚು ಅಡಗಿರುವುದು ಬಹಿರಂಗ ವಾಸ್ತವವಾಗಿದೆ , ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ , ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ರಾಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಮಾರಕಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಜನಾಕ್ರೋಶವನ್ನ ತಣಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದುರ್ಬಲ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಗಳಡಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ , ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಸಾರ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಪಾಥಮಿಕ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯತಿರಿಕ್ತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘಪರಿವಾರದ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಸಲೀಸರು ಮೃದು ಧೋರಣೆ ತಾಳಿರುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಆತಂಕಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ . ಸಂಘನುವಾದದ ನೈತಿಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಗಿರಿಯನ ಸಮರ್ಥಿಸಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರಕಾರವು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯನ್ನು ದುರ್ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಇಳಿದಿರುವುದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ . ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮ್ ಸಮುದಾಯನ್ನು ಗುರಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು , ಆಘಾತಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ . ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಬಾರ ಎಂಬ ಯುವಕನ ಬರ್ಬರ ಹತ ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆಯ ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮಾರಣಾಂತಿಕ ಹಲ್ಲೆ , ಗದಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಮದ್ ಕೆಡಹುವ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಗಳು , ಸಂಘಪರಿವಾರದ ನಾಯಕರು , ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ದ್ವೇಷಪೂರಿತ ಪ್ರಚೋದನಾಕಾರಿ ಭಾಷಣಗಳು , ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿತಿಮೀರಿರುವ ‘ ಅನೈತಿಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಗಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶಾಸಕರುಗಳ , ನಡೆಗಳು , ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಅವಹೇಳನ , ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ . ಇದೀಗ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ಸಂಘಪರಿವಾರವು ಶೋಭಯಾತ್ರೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಮಾರಕಾಸ್ತ್ರ , ಝಳಪಿಸಿ ಭೀತಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿರುವುದು ಅದರ ಮುಂದುವರಿದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ . ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಕಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನಡೆಸಿರುವುದು ಕಾನೂನು ವಾಹಿರವಾಗಿದೆ . ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀತಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವ ಇಂತಹ ದುರುದ್ದೇಶಪೂರಿತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕು , ದುರ್ಬಳ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಹಾಕಬಾರದು , ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂಘಟಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಡ್ಗ ಝಳಪಿಸಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ನಿಷ್ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಯಂಪ್ರೇರಿತ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಬೇಕು . ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು . ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಪ್ಯುಲರ್ ಫಂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಇದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಉಗ್ರ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಲಿದೆ .

The inaugural ceremony of the Innovative Film Academy’s Innovative International Film Festival kicks off the festival.

~The 4th edition film festival is all set to showcase 108 films from 30 countries in 45 languages ~

Bengaluru, 15th October 2021: Innovative Film Academy, one of India’s most prestigious film studies institutes, hosted the Inaugural ceremony of the 4th edition of the Innovative International Film Festival 2021, today in the city.

The ceremony marked the beginning of the four-day film festival that will present 108 films from 30 nations, encompassing a wide spectrum of genres in 45 languages. Screened at the Innovative Multiplex, Marathalli, Bengaluru, the festival commenced with a red carpet, where dignitaries from Czech Republic, Peru, Brazil, Israel, South Korea, Netherlands, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, and Luxembourg graced the occasion.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr Saravana Prasad, Founder and Director of Innovative Film Academy in his keynote address said, “We are ecstatic and honoured to host the 4th edition of the Innovative International Film Festival in 2021. For the Indian film industry, this will be an opportunity to experience markets overseas, promote tourism, and find talents from across borders.  With a diversified selection of 108 films spanning over 30 countries, we seek to exhibit the finest of international cinema. It will be a lifetime experience for cinephiles while we also aspire to proactively encourage prospective filmmakers to master the intricacies of filmmaking.”

The inauguration ceremony saw an array of performances post the felicitation and special address by the Guest of Honour. The inaugural day also witnessed the screening of films from Asia, with Israel being the country of focus. The festival also saw the premiere of the Kannada film Kannadiga. Aside from screening films, the festival will also entail a number of workshops and panel discussions to enable the youth to comprehend the craft of filmmaking from renowned speakers. Besides this, the International film festival will present a specially curated award property recognizing impeccable filmmaking.

Celebrating the spirit of art and filmmaking, the film festival will be open to the public from today onwards, 15th October till 17th October.
