Bengaluru, March 26, 2021: Fundermax, a Rs 100-crore wood-products based architectural company, headquartered in Bengaluru has completed 15,000 projects in the 12 years since it was first set up in 2007. Speaking on this achievement, Dr. Prashanth Reddy, Managing Director, Fundermax India Pvt Ltd says, “Fundermax is a 130-year old Austrian company with a deep-rooted culture. Architect Gayathri Shetty speaks highly of Fundermax which was used on the CSR project Nirguna Mandar located in Bengaluru. “While the project made use of the Max Exterior 0924 décor, we have found Fundermax to be a highly versatile product. Besides, the high range of options it provides can lend character to any kind of building”.

The versatility of Fundermax can be seen in the vast range of sectors that use their products. Architect Dinesh Verma of the ACE Group has used Fundermax on the NITTE Meenakshi, school of architecture project located in North Bangalore. “We used the Max Exterior 0803 décor. Fundermax exterior grade laminate is a modern material which can be used to achieve and strike a balance between aesthetical appeal and functional elements of a facade design,”says Dinesh.

Pioneering Processes

Fundermax’s commitment to quality and sustainability begins at sourcing. Since the brand works with wood-based products, it ensures that it follows a renewable wood processing system. Fundermax only sources from places that have a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificate and/or Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). This ensures a green building while preventing deforestation.

Fundermax’s in-house design team works on the compatibility of the product to the design given by the architect. The intent is to work towards design compatibility and reduce wastage. Designers work on factors such as wind-loading, sun path, exposure to heat etc.

With the construction industry in India being unorganized, accountability often rests with the product company instead of the executor. To ensure consistency in application, Fundermax developed a system of panel installation that standardized the process and ensured fire safety. All installers are trained with the right tools and they now enjoy a price advantage that could be adjusted to scale. Fundermax is the only brand in India to have Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in place for cladding installation.

With up to 60 per cent input in the design and sub-structure of the installation, Fundermax not only contributes to the idea of Atmanirbhar Bharat but also reduces the time of project completion significantly.

Meenakshi Mission Hospital Becomes India’s First Hospital to Introduce Telemedicine Robots

26 March 2021: In a first in India, Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre (MMHRC), Madurai, one of South India’s leading multi-specialty hospitals, has deployed 16 mobile Teladoc Health Robots for clinical examinations, diagnosis, and monitoring of health parameters of both out-patients and in-patients. These robots are the preferred choice of the world’s top six hospitals. MMHRC is the only healthcare institution in India to deploy these.

Said Dr. S. Gurushankar,  Chairman, Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai: “These telemedicine robots from Teladoc are a substantial addition to the healthcare capabilities available in Tamil Nadu. They have empowered our doctors to treat patients anywhere and anytime. We can now get expert opinion from a specialist anywhere in the world. Doctors from different disciplines can come together to treat a patient. They can also monitor patients 24/7. This capability has helped us save many lives during the times of the ongoing pandemic.”

The Teladoc telemedicine robots have capabilities to carry out basic clinical examinations (such as checking blood pressure and heart rate) on their own, as instructed by the doctors. As IoT devices, they can be used to control other advanced diagnostic equipment such as CT and MRI scan machines. Applying Artificial Intelligence, the robots can collect and process data from other diagnostic equipment and present it to the doctors to help them make precise clinical decisions. The robots can also enhance patient relations, as they are fitted with cameras and display monitors to enable patient-doctor interaction.

Dr. Gurushankar said the adoption of such telemedicine robots is not going to take away jobs of paramedical staff. Their primary objective is to augment the diagnostic abilities of doctors and improve access, quality, and efficiency of healthcare delivery for patients irrespective of their physical location – whether they are admitted at the hospital or are miles away at their home.

Dr. Gurushankar said that mobile telemedicine robots are getting increasingly popular across the world since the outbreak of COVID-19, as these help hospitals reduce the risk of infections of all types substantially. Meenakshi Mission Hospital is all set to explore ways to use this novel technology to provide expert diagnosis from Madurai to patients in other parts of the country so as to put world-class healthcare within everyone’s reach.

Meenakshi Mission Hospital is spearheading the adoption of AI, robotics, telemedicine, and other technological breakthroughs in healthcare. During the lockdown days of the Covid pandemic, it deployed robots to detect Covid symptoms in people, sanitize the hospital premises, and deliver food and medicines to in-patients, as part of its 6-stage protection against Coronavirus.

As we had taken over a beggars colony we got an opportunity to donate Blankets and tarpaulins for shelter. Also we had also
opened a tuition centre for under privileged children gave hope to them on perusing studies also gave them awareness on corona
virus and cleanliness

On this occasion health inspector of velankanni had joined us on this occasion and also gave his part of cleanliness awareness to
the beggars and advised on health check ups and maintaining distance when they are around public and also among their
community.

This awareness programme was successfully concluded by us on offering lunch to children in tuition centre and beggars in their
colony.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ರೈತ ಸಂಘ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಸಿರು ಸೇನೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೋಡಿಹಳ್ಳಿ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ರವರು ಕೃಷಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ರೈತ ಅನುವುಗಾರರ ಕುರಿತು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ .

* ಕೃಷಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೈತ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಅನುವುಗಾರರನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೃಷಿ ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ* .

ಮೇಲ್ಕಂಡ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ 2008-09ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪನವರು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ಭೂಚೇತನ ಎಂಬ ರೈತ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರೈತ ಅನುವುಗಾರರನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು 9657 ಜನ ಅನುವುಗಾರರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು . 10 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಭೂಚೇತನ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುವುಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ರೂ .5000 / – ಗೌರವ ಧನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ದುಡುಸಿಕೊಂಡರು . ಎರಡು ನಂತರದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೃಷಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನುವುಗಾರರನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಿ ಅನುವುಗಾರರ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಉತ್ತೇಜಕರೆಂದು ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಅನುವುಗಾರರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಂತೆ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿ ಗೌರವಧನದ ಬದಲು ಹೆಕ್ಟರ್‌ ವಂತಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನಂತರ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ

ನೀಡಿ ರೈತರ ಬೆಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಘಣನೀಯವಾಗಿ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ರೈತರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು 52 ಲಕ್ಷ ಹೆಕ್ಟೇರ್‌ಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಶೇ .20 % ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಅನುವುಗಾರರನ್ನು ಈಗ ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾದವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿರುವುದು ಅನುವುಗಾರರಿಗೆ ತುಂಬಲಾಗದ ನಷ್ಟ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ . ಸುಮಾರು 12 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕೃಷಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಿತ ಹೊಂದಿದ ನಮ್ಮಗಿಂತ ಕೇವಲ 2 ವರ್ಷ ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ಮಾಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ಅನುಭವ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ . ಈಗ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಯಾವ ಸವಲತ್ತುಗಳು ಸಹ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ . ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುವುಗಾರರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ . ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ರೈತ ಮಿತ್ರರ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟು ಈಗಿರುವ ಸುಮಾರು 10-12 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ವೇತನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ವೇತನದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಅನುಭವ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ರೈತ ಅನುವುಗಾರರನ್ನು ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿ ಎಂದು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ .
