ನಾಗಮಂಗಲ: ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಸೋಂಕಿನ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸರಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮಿನಿ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಕಚೇರ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಲೂಕು ಆಡಳಿತ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಕುಂಞಿ ಅಹಮದ್ ರವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ರವರು ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ಸಿಲಿಕಾನ್ ಸಿಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ರವರು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು 1.25 ಕೋಟಿ ಜನತೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ರವರು ಒಂದು ಜಾತಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರು ಮಾಡುವ ಕೆಲಸದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ನಗರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿದರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ತಾಲೂಕು ಆರೋಗ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ: ಧನಂಜಯ್, ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ರವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೋ ಒಂದು ಜಾತಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾದ ವರಲ್ಲ. ಈ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ರಾಜರುಗಳು ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು ಆದರೆ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಹೆಸರು ಈಗಲೂ ಇಷ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ಕಾರಣವೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರು ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅಂತ ರೀತಿ ಇಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಜಯಂತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪಡಿತರ ವಿತರಕರ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪ, ಪುರಸಭೆ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ತಿಮ್ಮಪ್ಪ, ಚನ್ನಪ್ಪ, ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ರವಿಕಿರಣ್, ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರ ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರು, ಹಾಗೂ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಮುಖಂಡರುಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

Chief Minister’s meeting with ministers, MPs and MLAs of Bengaluru regarding surge in covid cases in Bengaluru

Information regarding the management of covid 19 situation in Bengaluru City was provided in the meeting.

There were 1207 active cases until yesterday evening in Bengaluru. All necessary preparations have been taken considering the surge in the cases everyday. In comparison to other cities the number of cases in Bengaluru is less.

Private hospitals have been identified and an order has been issued to reserve about 50 % beds.
It was assured by all that they would cooperate with the Government in handling the Covid 19 situation.

The Chief Minister assured that he would consider the suggestions given by all MLAs and MPs and take further action.

Highlights of the Meeting:
• It was suggested to appoint a nodal officer for each Assembly constituency for handling the covid 19 situation. The Chief Minister said that action has already been taken in this regard.

• It was informed that throat Swab testing facility will be set up at every Assembly Constituency.

• Separate Ambulance facility to transport dead bodies of Covid 19 patients would be enhanced.

• It was suggested to make use of huge marriage halls in the outskirts of Bengaluru City to quarantine asymptomatic persons. It was informed that action in this regard has already been taken and hotels have also been identified. The Chief Minister directed the officers to monitor the treatment given by the private hospitals to covid patients.

• It was informed that distribution of Ayurvedic medicines to increase the immunity levels as a precautionary measure would be reviewed.

• The Government has given priority for the safety of corona warriors.

• It was decided to give greater impetus to create awareness regarding precautionary measures amongst the general public.

  • Chief Minister asked MLAs to visit hospitals and bring actual situation there to his notice.

Health and Family Welfare Department Government of Karnataka

The escalating numbers of persons infected by COVID-19 and in need of treatment has made it imperative to involve private hospitals, corporate hospitals, nursing homes etc., ie., Private Healthcare Providers (PHPS) registered under KPME Act. At present treatment of COVID 19 is mainly being done by the Public Health Institutions.

Therefore orders have been issued in Notification No. HFW 228 ACS 2020 dated 23/6/2020 (enclosed) invoking the powers under the National Disaster Management Act 2005 for all private hospitals to share 50% of their beds having facilities to treat COVID-19 patients to be reserved for the treatment of patients, referred by Public Health Authorities. The remaining 50% can be utilized by the PHPS for private patients and insurance patients. The said notification also fixes the cost for treatment per day for patients referred by public health authority and the ceiling that PHPS can charge private patients directly admitted by them.

• For COVID 19 patients referred by the PHIS to private healthcare providers, the cost of the treatment is completely free for the patient and Government will pick up the cost.

• Patients wishing to avail treatment in private hospital directly by passing Public Health Authorities, the cost of the treatment will be borne by the patient.

•All COVID-19 positive patients including those belonging to BPL and APL categories, migrant labourers and interstate returnees not possessing PDS card shall be considered as eligible in view of the unprecedented pandemic situation.

•Exclusive Ophthalmology hospitals and Dental care hospitals will not be notified for COVID treatment. All other Private hospitals, Corporate hospitals and Nursing homes will mandatorily share their beds with the government. 1

•Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust will be the Nodal Agency that will assess the bed capacity of the private hospitals to be notified and calculate the number of beds that will be requisitioned.

•It is compulsorily for all hospitals to empanel themselves in Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust web portal.

RK Trust set to donate1 lakh face masks to students writing their SSLC exams in Bengaluru

Bangalore, 24th June, 2020: RK Trust, the philanthropic arm of RK Group, is donating1 lakh face masks to students who are sitting for the SSLC examinations tomorrow across 210 examination centres across South Bengaluru. The donation was made in partnership with the government of Karnataka as part of the ‘Let’s Mask India’ initiative.

The 3-ply washable cloth masks are manufactured at 8 factories across the country, in an aesthetically pleasing design. ‘Let’s Mask India’ is an initiative that aims at providing high-quality made-in-India face masks to the most deserving, whilst providing a livelihood to the garment workers who are manufacturing these masks.  The initiativewas launched by theHon’ble CM BS Yeddyurappa at the Mask Day event at VidhanaSoudha on June 17th 2020. Over 1.25 lakh masks have already been donated to frontline workers, containment zones and for inter-state travelers.
