3rd year celebration of Kannadati Utsava

Avala Hejje, a social enterprise based in Bengaluru, invites degree colleges from across Karnataka to participate in the State level Inter-College Theatre competition on the occasion of the 3rd year celebration of Kannadati Utsava.

Avala Hejje launched an annual festival Kannadati Utsava, in 2017 with the hope that every November, as part of Karnataka Rajyotsava celebration, we remember to celebrate the stories and experiences of women who have contributed to building our world. Last year’s Kannadati Utsava was a festival of short films directed by women and was screened at several locations including Infosys, Mysore and Sahyadri College, Shimoga.

As part of Kannadati Utsava -2019, Avala Hejje is organising a State-wide intercollegiate Theatre competition around the theme ‘Female Gaze’. We are inviting all the interested colleges of Karnataka to register on or before August 31st 2019 through our website: https://avalahejje.in/en/kannadati-utsava.html

Colleges/students can register their team along with 1. Director’s Notes 2. Synopsis of the Play and 3. Names of the participants. Also, The Writer/Director should be a female student and the team should have at least 4 female members (maximum 8 members including technical and backstage support)

Teams will be invited for an audition in the month of September. Selected teams will be eligible to perform during Kannadati Utsava celebrations

LAGHU UDYOG BHARATI’s Silver Jubilee Year Celebration Program on 16th. 17th &18th August 2019 at Nagpur.

Laghu Udyog Bharati was established on 25 April, 1994 in Nagpur. In a period of 25 years Laghu Udyog Bharati has established itself as an All India Organization, having network in 450 districts throughout the country. Today Laghu Udyog Bharati is working at national level to make policy on labour, electricity, environment, finance & taxation. To make the nation prosperous Laghu Udyog Bharati is not only working with an economical attitude but application of all policies for all round progress of the nation.

Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB)is planning to have Silver Jubilee Year Celebration Program on 16th. 17th &18th August 2019 at Nagpur. During three days function, discussion on difference topics relating to Micro & Small Industries will be held and its holistic policy will be considered. Silver Jubilee Celebration Program will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Sar Sanghachalak Dr. Mohan ji Bhagwat on 16th August,2019. Also the following central ministers are participating and addressing the event.

1) Shri Nitin JI Gadekari jHon’ble Minister of Road Transport, Highways & MSME..

2) Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman ji, Hon’ble Minister of Finance

3) Shri Piyush Goelji, Hon’ble Minister for Commerce & Industry and Railways.

4) Shri Santosh Kumar ji Gangawar, Hon’ble Minister of State for (1/C) for Labour & Employment.

5) Shi Devender Fadnavis ji. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra. will be present in different sessions and will present their views.

In the above convention, First Generation entrepreneurs will be awarded. A conference of other industrial associations have also been organised. About 125 such associations from different parts of the country have confirmed their presence in the convention.

Laghu Udyog Bharati Karnataka (LUB-K) is the state chapter of LUB catering to the 24 districts of Karnataka and there is broader vision to cover entire 30 districts. LUB-K has set up units at Hubballi & Belagavi. We have proposal to start newer units at Mysore, Tumkur Mangalore, Udupi and Shivamagga districts this year.

ಅಂದು ವಾರಗಟ್ಟಲೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಘಳಿಗೆಯೂ ಬಿಡದೆ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂನು ಮಳೆಯ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಊರಿಡೀ ಮುಳುಗುವುದಾಗಲಿ, ಮನೆಗಳು ಬೀಳುವುದಾಗಲಿ, ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಲಿ, ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್‌ಗಳಷ್ಟು ನಡೆಯುವ ದೂರ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ರಜೆ ಸಿಗುವುದಾಗಲಿ ಯಾವುದೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.ನಾವು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಹದಿನೈದು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಮಳೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಯಾಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ..? ಹತ್ತು ದಿನ ಬಂದ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಇಡೀ ಊರಿಗೆ ಊರೇ ಮುಳುಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗಲು ಕಾರಣ ನಾವೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ.!
ನೀರು ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕಾದ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಗನಚುಂಬಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು, ನೀರು ಹರಿಯಬೇಕಾದ ಜಾಗವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಸ್ತೆಗಾಗಿ ಡಾಮರೀಕರಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಂಕ್ರೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು. ಮಳೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೀರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದಾಗ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳು ನದಿಗಳಂತಾದವು, ಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳ ಈಜು ಕೊಳದ ರೂಪ ಪಡೆದು ಮನೆಯ ಒಳಗೂ ನೀರು ಹರಿದು ಬಂತು.

ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸಿದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಮಳೆ ಬರದಂತಾಯಿತು, ಮಳೆ ಬಂದರೂ ಇಡೀ ಊರೇ ಮುಳುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ನಾವೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ.!
ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು– ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಜನಾಂಗ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ನಿಕೃಷ್ಠ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ, ಸಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿದ್ದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಠ ಜಾತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಂಗಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕ ಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯ ರವಿ ಡಾ.ರವಿ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ರಾಜಾಜಿನಗರದ ರಾಜ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಲಾಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಡಿವಾಳರ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಂಘದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಮಾಚಿದೇವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೋಂಡು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಈ ಹಿಂದಿನ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣಮ್ಮ ವರದಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಈ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾರಿ ತರಲು ಕಳೆದ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾರಿತರಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲ ಕಾರಣಾಂತರಗಳಿಂದ ಇದು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಂಘಟಿತರಾಗದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳು ಈಡೇರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಜನಾಂಗ ಯಾರೋ ಉಟ್ಟು ಬಿಟ್ಟ, ಹೊಲಸು ಸೂತಕ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಮೈಲಿಗೆಗೆ ಅಂಜದೇ ತಮ್ಮ ತೆಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ತಂದು ಕೆರೆ ಅಥವಾ ಬಾವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಚಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಕಾಯಕವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಕೂಡ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ, ಕೇಲವು ಸವಲತ್ತುಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಈ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣ ವರದಿಯ ಅಂಶದಂತೆ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಠ ಜಾತಿ, ಪಂಗಡ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ, ಮಾಚಿದೇವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಸಾಲುಮರದ ತಿಮ್ಮಕ್ಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಳೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಕೃಷಿಕರಿಗೆ ವರುಣ ದೇವ ಕರುಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ,ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸುಖ ಶಾಂತಿ ಸಿಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.

ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಆರ್. ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಸಂಘದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವ ಸವಲತ್ತು, ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗವರು ಸದ್ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ದೆವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕ ಅಪ್ಪಣ್ಣ, ಕೆ.ಆರ್. ಪುರಂ ಡೋಬಿಘಾಟ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪ, ರಂಗಭೂಮಿ ಕಲಾವಿದ ಕೆ.ಪಿ, ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಯಣ್, ಜಾನಪದ ಕಂಸಾಳೆ ಕಲಾವಿದ ಎಂ.ಲಿಂಗಯ್ಯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಮಾಚಿದೇವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಎಸ್,ಎಸ್,ಎಲ್.ಸಿ. ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಂಕ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಬಾ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಾಂಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಡಾ.ಎಂ.ರಾಜು ತಲ್ಲೂರು, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಡಿವಾಳ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ.ರಂಗಸ್ವಾಮಯ್ಯ, ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸಹ ವಕ್ತಾರ ರಘ ಕೌಟಿಲ್ಯ, ಸಂಘದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ವಿ.ದೀಪಕ್ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
